sorry to be so offtopic but does anybody know a way to get back into an instagram account? I stupidly lost my account password. I would love any assistance you can give me
Dude the reason why the giant eggs are so expensive is not that recipe. There are many recipies that provide that buff. They are needed for the quest to raise your cooking skill to 300.
If you're going to farm pearls for less than 1% drop rate, it's counter productive and you're better off just farming dungeons for vendor loot and BOE items.
@Adrian Wilson You barely made any profit from AH since to put on auction 20x leather is cost you 20silver and you can sell to vendor tham to 1g. Buying for 1g40s and resell it for 1g50s is actually -10 silver :D
Golden Pearls sell upwards of 60g on my server and I have good luck as a frost mage. Yes, I can earn 80-120g an hour AOE farming high level mobs but.. I get on average 3-5 pearls an hour when farming specifically for them... soo 180-300g/ hour. Pearls are guaranteed to sell. I don't even post them on the AH. Simply post in trade chat and they will be gone within a few minutes. If you're not an AOE farming class (10+ mobs at once) then I'd suggest you find something else to farm for the fact you kill things too slowly. If you don't aoe farm stick to your professions. This video is pretty trash.
Everyone is just making "guides" and they have no idea what they are talking about. These players are new to classic and they just want to upload a video and make themselves "geniuses" who can make guids. A silver wep at level 50+ which can be dropped from humanoids can be vendored for 2g. And any other silver item worth almost the same. Imagine green. Imagine blue. Which you can sell in AH. Disenchanting greens also makes alot of money from selling thier shards. Some progfesions makes alot of money. Such as LW engineering. Mining. LW. Please dont go waste your time for pearls and other crap mentioned in this video. If you wanna farm by killing. Kill high level humanoids or even skeletons. You can get 40-80g per hour. And for youtubers. Save your time making a video and go really learn something in the game before you upload something.
@@danielharo2651 even if you take 2 weeks off it's not enough. That just gives you a taste... next thing you know you're on welfare with free internet and food stamps. .....wait
@@nuz5Mostly joking, but often these "secret gold making techniques" get obsolete fast because many people who watch it follow the instructions then the items in question lose their value. Watch Giant Eggs seriously drop in price because everyone farms them.
Video Summary: 1. SFK Rare BOE Drops (Shadowfang Dagger, etc.) 2. Golden Pearls from mobs that drop Big-Mouth Clams (1.6% drop chance) 3. Elemental Fire from Fire Elementals in Arathi Highlands 4. Fused Wiring from Venture Co. Shredders in Stranglethorn Vale (only 3 up at a time) 5. Giant Eggs from Fire Rocs in Tanaris
Be mindful, the Elemental Fire drop chance is lower than 17%. This is due to how the drop chances are approximated, as for a loot drop to be registered, something has to drop. Since elementals often drops nothing, those kills wont be counted in the calculations, inflating the drop chances.
I must be the most unlucky guy ever... I farmed lvl 50+ Turtles for 3 levels straight because they were lots of them and skinning them gave Rugged Hide PLUS turtle scales so it was pretty lucrative to turn the hide and scales into Turtle Scale Breast Plates and sell those while upgrading my Leather Working at the same time. I must of opened 500+ big mouth clams and never seen one Golden Pearl... bah.
just wanna tell you guys, dont farm the golden pearls, i farmed them like everyday about 2-4 hours in one week and i got 3 golden pearls totally which means i got about 60 gold in 1 week which is not much at all.
@@Blessedup69 it depends, Blizzard have said that they have no idea what they will do at the end of all the phases. Classic will die if they leave it on the same patch with no new content indefinitely, but at the same time if they do something like release TBC on top of Classic, a lot of people will be really upset. Classic will thrive at least until the end of all the phases and a significant amount of time after, but whether or not it will "never die" is up to Blizzard and what they do.
At this point, making gold from selling at the AH isn't that lucrative, because there isn't that much gold on the servers. Just level up and you'll notice you're getting more and more gold from quests and selling items. Once you hit 60 you can start farming some real gold, and by that time the servers will probably have a stable enough economy where you can sell a stack of wool cloth for more than 15 silver, hehe.
I think the point of farming right now is just to get the mount. I'm at 28g level 32, worried I won't have 90g at 40. So now that I watched this video, if I do not have 90g around level 39. I'm going to farm the fire elementals for XP and gold until 40.
@@monkeygolfer I made 21 gold from 32 to 34 from vendoring stuff (got a bit lucky with some gray weapons worth 40s+ too), so i am not worried. At 60g at 36, will surely make 100 by the time i'm 40 because gaining a level takes ages :D
@@Brekner Nice! Yeah I'm hopeful that the leveling process alone will get me the gold I need (as long as I'm smart with my money). Good luck on the grind to 60 ! :)
they can be still a secret because looots of people doesnt have or had even still a clue about these spots back then, like me, I play WoW since Vanilla and I never knew one of those spots he mentioned.
Yes, a mage is the perfect class to solo SFK... unless you want to kill the worgen that are immune to roots and slows... or the worgen with anti-magic shell.
It'll level out once more people hit max level. It's to be expected with a 'new' economy that things are gonna be a bit all over the place. Atm everyone is saving their golds for mounts and shit, but once most folk have epic mounts and are getting higher into their professions, shit will get a bit more steady.
I sold a tanking weapon, level 52 epic for 150g, almost 2 weeks ago. People buying Krol blade for 350g also atm on my server, sacrificing their epic mount savings :)
it's slowly rising up, at least on my server. Things are still cheap of course, but the lower level trade goods are no longer selling at vendor price (lol)
Sad thing is these aren't secret to anyone who has even a fundamental understanding of the game. I feel kind of bad for clicking on videos like this via recommended because I know it's all stuff that if you didn't know the past 10 years you were a mongoloid. Like Golden Pearls, anyone with a functioning brain knew they were insanely worthwhile. Elemental Fire everyone knows is good for GFPP primarily and a few other items but not a whole lot there. Fused Wiring was a big one back in Classic for repair bots and he didn't even mention the good way to get that (Target Dummies). Hell if Vaulty knew what he was talking about he'd have replaced the Giant Egg with Winter Squid which is coming available here in two weeks from fishing which offers the best physical DPS food buff and it can't be attained after March or so until Late September 2020.
The best "easiest" food is the tender wolf meat from hyenas ... and dogs from BRD, gives the Tender Wolf Steak 12 stamina and spirit. Also from White Spider meat the Spider sausage (I've got 100+ while killed 35-38 spiders in dustwallow marsh for Shadow Silk). For Giant eggs, I prefer farming moonkins in Hinterlands, more there compared to the rocs/birds in Tanaris where they share spawn with the hyenas.
The trouble with the blue item drops is that the price varies wildly on each server. Plus you may see them on the AH for 100-200g, but are they SELLING for that. I've seen people put 1 linen cloth on AH for 100+g, doesn't mean linen cloth is 100g each. Probably best to use something like auctionator and research what price things are actually being bought for, not just what they're listed as. I got some nice twink boots that were only in the AH for 4g, which is still an alright price, but not necessarily worth 7-8 dungeons runs for it.
The drop rate doesn't change, but the overall chance to drop one increases with each try. What is the chance to get 1 if you drop a dice(6) 100 times? Is it still 1/6 as if you had only one try? :)
@Varsiz It actually isn't, and your evidence is purely anecdotal. The chances of not getting a 1 in 1 throw its 5/6, while the chances of not getting a 1 in 100 throws, is (5/6) elevated 100. 1/6 its actually the chance of getting a 1, 16 times in 100 throws. Anything is possible doesn't mean that anything is equally probable.
@@NicolaiNita "the overall chance to drop one increases with each try" Um... no, it doesn't. The chance of it dropping is always exactly the same: 0.14% on every kill. Whether you kill the mob once and get the item immediately or kill it ten billion times and don't get the item, the chance of it dropping is, was and always will be (unless it's explicitly coded otherwise) 0.14%. If you still don't understand how or why look up "gambler's fallacy", and for the love of God don't gamble in the meantime.
>"Just layer hop lol!!!!!!!!!!" >"Just play in non-peak hours lol!!!!!" >"Just hoard them to sell later (because they're selling for a pittance right now, and I only know the price might get better due to playing private servers that might not reflect classic, and everyone watching this needs gold NOW, but whatever) lol!!!!!!!" >#1 just being a common item anyone would already know is used in high-level cooking And most egregiously of all, >>>>>USING MODERN GRAPHICS SETTINGS IN CLASSIC WOW Nah fam, I'm good.
The best wellfeds only have 12 Stam/Spirit. A waste to use giant eggs on when there so many other wellfeds with that combo with a better drop rate. Save the eggs for cooking training quest.
I'm kinda surprised Grave Moss isn't worth much at all (on my server at least)... Used to get tons of gold for it back in the days. I'll keep my stacks in my bank for now.
You can also get Fused Wiring sometimes from target dummies Engineers make. When it dies, it mostly drops some of the material used to make one, but sometimes drops a Fused Wiring.
I love these videos......"I know the best top secrets to farming gold!!!!" and all it turns out to be is "find item on AH that is selling good, find where to get it, farm, sell, repeat! and bam! overnight you'll be a gold millionaire!!" Yeah right.....AH prices fluctuate and videos like these make it even worse as suddenly everyone is farming them to sell. Yes many crafters will be wanting these items, however if they are being farmed out like crazy the crafters will also be out there farming them to get around the AH price. If you want to farm gold, there are ways to find mobs that drop a good amount of copper and silver per kill and easily enough to kill. One that I recall at the endgame lvl 60 is the elites in the Eastern Plaugelands in the south eastern corner of the map, Tyr's Hand I believe is what the place is called. They will drop I think 5-10 silver each plus some good stuff to sell. Another thing is selling normal mats, cloth of all kinds will be selling at a steady rate, bags are especially good at the moment as everyone wants to get the most bagspace they can starting out. However it's always good to know someone who will be needing a steady supply and take farm requests instead of taking up a lot of time farming something that may or may not sell. So if you know friends who have 2 crafting professions and are relying on farming gold to get mats off the AH, you can setup a farm contract with them where you do the farming and then send them the mats COD at a set agreed rate.
@@ihatecandy02 if you think anything I said was a secret, and I'm assuming you mean Tyr's Hand specifically, then you didn't play vanilla and never paid attention to lootyou picked up cause everyone farmed spots. Heck we even looked for the old farming bots back in the day to find spots to farm. You can make gold off a lot of different things, just depends how you want to play.
If you have skinning, a good mid-20s grind is Elder Gray Bears near South Shore. They drop a gray item worth 5 silver each, and a couple more grays worth a silver each, plus mostly medium leather. Doesn't take long to grind out a couple of gold on gray items alone.
The thing is they will be worth hundreds of gold. There is no battle grounds yet and everyone is only working on mains for the most part. He explains this.
@@eversoslightly124 no one is saying their wasn't any twinks and their wasn't a market for them. I'm saying this information is completely useless today. The guy making this video is not a "wow guy"
someone on my realm tried selling shadowfang for 200 gold in trade chat, and got everyone laughing at him Most people don't even have enough for the 40 lvl mount, never mind 200 on a silly wpn
for opening clams, strongboxes (from fishing etc.) and other items that can be opened like that, i use a simple macro: "/Use [Shift click the item in your bag, and it will transfer the name into the macro] and you can just spam that 1 button, and it will just open one at a time and become greyed out when you have no more
Right i spend 3 hours farming for these Golden pearls. I killed and looted so many mobs that my bags (4x14 slots) were complely full. However i didn't get a *SINGLE* golden pearl. So this gold farming is based on luck and chance, and that isn't really gold farming.
So if you want to make around 10g an hour go farm clams, giant eggs etc.... On the other hand if you want to make around 100g an hour then all you have to do is..... shhhhhhh it's a secret and I'm not sharing :P
Giant Eggs have been listed for next to nothing since my server went live, I don't think it's possible to farm those for enough profit to be worthwhile. Just checked and they're going for 15s right now.
Hundreds of gold for a low lv blue Boe...? Does anyone even have hundreds of gold? Sinking every copper you have into something that weak? Idk about it lol
I don't know if it's been mentioned before, but Wildvine goes for quite a bit on my server. No insane amounts, but 50-75s each. Still, that's an easy way to get some profit by picking herbs or killing certain mobs. Maybe not the best, but if everyone does the best method, it'll quickly become one of the worst.
My secret method. 1. Buy all the copper 2. Relist it for 5g/stack or whatever 3. Buy out everyone dumb enough to list copper at a sane price. 4. When people start catching on and listing their copper at your less sane price, list your overstock for greater than break-even, let the competition buy it, move on to a different product for a few weeks while prices normalize. If you do this right, you'll be vendering copper to defend the price and your bag space.
@@dangerously72 no it's true. The pandaren Doubleagent got to lvl 90 without leaving the isles. Once he completed all the starting quest he picked herbs and mined veins for xp. Took him about 170 days. He did it so that his pandaren wouldn't have to choose between horde/alliance and he could stay "neutral"
These are all horrible ways to farm gold...I'm level 52 and I already have both Devilsaur pieces, my 60% mount, and my LW and First Aid are 265+. And I still have dozens of gold left over. I had a stack of Giant eggs for sell for 80s and it didn't sell over the course of 24hrs. The best way to farm gold is to use your profession, or farm mobs that drop a lot of grey items and vendor them. Sometimes mobs have nearly a 100% chance to drop a grey item that might sell to a vendor for 10-15s a piece. That is so much better than praying for a rare drop that might net you 300g or even a 8%-10% chance to make 80s to 2g. I've made 10g an hour just from killing mobs, and again, I'm not max level and can't kill as fast as I would at 60.
Oh yeah, I used to make BIG money farming sfk, looking for shadowfangs for my twinks. I got about 10 assassin blades before my first shadowfang and those birches sold for lik 200g back when it was hard to afford the 4g for fiery enchant
Got Black Malice 2h mace but can't even auction it for 10g. Probably I lost a few gold in expired auctions! But I have seen the sword for 300. Don't know if it sold though. Will wait for BGs and see. Lots of videos are based on what might sell. But probably better to grind high level humanoids for cloth and gray equipment which sells for 1g+ each. Too many times I cleared SFK for nothing.
How to make gold in classic wow, sell a lvl19 blue dagger in AH for 300gold, Who the fuck will pay 300 gold for a lvl19 dagger when everyone tryin to get his 100gold/1000gold for mount?
"Golden pearls are farmed quite easily" this has a sub 2% drop rate everywhere. Given that zesty clam meat doesn't sell for shit, seems like a terrible way to farm. Seems like playing the $100 scratch-its and hoping for a huge payoff. If you spend enough time to get one, you're losing gold that you could have farmed in a far more productive place.
I'm a warlock so I just grind humanoids as a warlock. Eady gold dot dot fear dot. Then next one.Canabolize mana tap and repeat.Tons of cloth greens coin and chest. Easy gold. Then play the auction house with my capital.I am level 24 and have 20g already.
CLAM MASTER, this addon is your best friend opens all clams instantly and loots them also counts how many you get and what you are geting and if your lucky
