Riaz - this was truly a game changing video! I used to have the same problem when delivering a presentation - I'd get lost in my story and completely forget what my point was! Subscribed! #AA
Wow I've learned so much in this short video. I have a thing for telling stories without words, or as less as possible. It's been very challenging but rewarding in terms of creativity. Great stuff here!
4:10 Sometimes people also want to know that you’re still struggling if your problem is something that you don’t seem to be completely over. Still struggling shows you’re real since most people never get over a problem completely, like an eating disorder or bipolar disorder. You’ll never fully get over those disorders even with therapy and medication, the symptoms will always be there lurking in the darkness, and people know this. So pretending you’ve gotten over these disorders, for example, makes you look like a damn liar.
I don’t know if I had thought of it those words, but starting with something that gets your audience to ask “what happened next?“ Is so important. Thanks for the great tips, Riaz.
This was amazing i received so many aha moments realizing i naturally do this in person but as a new content creator my mind was trying to make this topic a big deal
I love all of these awesome tips! But I couldn't agree more with the emotion and 5 senses tips. It's so interesting that this is exactly what I teach my clients about achieving their goals and manifesting their dreams. I love how there is so much overlap, it's all about communication, whether that's with ourselves, with each other, or even with the Universe!!! 🥰❤️
Short and to the point. Loved this video and the information that was shared is super-valuable. Can't wait to include these tips in my next presentation.
I've been following Donald Miller for years and have learned to tell a story instead and be the guide instead of the hero! Can't wait to learn from you, as well!
Thanks for your video enjoyed watching it. I am writing a daily diary and was thinking maybe I can practise story telling by writing down my daily stuff, not really sharing worthy but might work as a practise. What do you think ?
This is an excellent idea. Write without fear and edit without mercy is a mantra that was passed my way. the daily diary will help you download your ideas then you can craft compelling stories from there
