That "metal thing" at the entrance of a Graal station is a turnstile... 🤭

Nowadays, newer houses don't have problems with plumbing, all the paper is thrown down the toilet. The trash is only for pads and other plastics... At least in my house we throw everything in the toilet

That’s good to know - that’s how I’m used to it being as well! I love that Brazil is a developing country 👏 amazing place.

I find it the opposite. I'm an older man (in my 60s), and when I was a child everybody flushed the toilet paper down the toilet. You just had to be careful not to put too much at once, otherwise it would clog the pipes. It was only in the 1970s that they started to scrimp on the plumbing and use narrower pipes until the bathroom bin became the (then) "new normal". So, it's actually in the houses and buildings built up to the 1960s that you can still throw the paper into the toilet (unless they changed the plumbing).

@@VacaSuprema, that's the kind of joke that's better not told, and a hidden disclaimer won't change that. You've missed a great opportunity to shut up. And remember, time passes for EVERYONE. Including you.

You can ask for "água da casa" in restaurants. You can. But you must be brave. And understand that there is no guarantee that the water they bring you is safe. It may have been taken right from the tap (which isn't always OK to drink) or even the toilet (if they're really pissed off).

Since you have your pay for water you may as well get suco natural! Brazil has great fresh fruit juices at most restaurants.

3) I was very surprised by the lack of people on the streets, in Orlando where I was, I spent hours without seeing anyone. I thought it was impressive. 4) the electoral system. I found it extremely slow and confusing even though I understood. While in Brazil an election ends with a result in a few hours, then it can take days, and they even use mail. 5) health system. Frankly, I'm very afraid of getting sick in the US. While health care is everyone's right for free, we are all very expensive. But they're cultures, everything has good and bad things. Always go back to Brazil. Here we embrace and say goodbye. 😂✌️

The plumbing thing is a mith. You can always discard toilet paper in the toilet

A ligação elétrica é aterrada, simples assim.

Ahhh totally! Thank you for the correction- totally mixed those up 🙃 I need to learn what mineral water is haha

Mineral water is like the water produced directly from natural sources or groundwater, it contains some essential mineral salts like calcium and magnesium... it's good for your health
