I love orbitals and hyperloops! I've only been spinning for 6 months but I enjoy even attempting these tricks. I remember how happy I was once I could get a hyperloop to stick for even a moment! ^^

@@elliotw5918 its prob the best time to learn before years of learning not to tangle them so its much harder to unlearn years of not trying to tangle. Took me months just to get some sort of orbital. Been over a year and still not mastered it but I think part of it is my chains thou I've seen a master spin mine like mad and say i hate ball chains its a pain yet look flawless at it, git hahahaha. My theory is get decent at ball chains then I should smash it with pro chains. I did have a go with his pro poi and they defo bite better thou didn't get a good orbital but I had a go for like 2mins so meh

I've been practicing the air wrap, and when I was practicing with fire last night I tried to whip one out, than a orbital came out of no where! It was awesome

I discovered air wraps by accident, and they DID unwrap automatically. Then I started trying to figure out how they worked and that messed it all up. It was so much easier when I had no clue how they worked.

Orbitals are still my favorite poi trick...they're hard to incorporate but I took alot of time mastering them and i still cant get enough of them

I find tangles very difficult- still trying to work out air wraps, and I laughed very hard at the “they’ll just untangle “ line! I hear it all the time!!

Check out play poi he has a good video of how to get out of them. I found unwrapping difficult till I realised I was trying to get out to soon. Either speed up (not the poi) or slow day your entry and exit.

Been working on some killer orbital combos recently! So much fun! Definitely worth having swivels just for this move in my opinion, especially as i'm not into manips. Well, I have different poi for different things.

I jist wanna say I'm a new watcher but I enjoy your teaching. Thank you. But i wanted to say hyper loops and orbitals were the two tangle tricks I caught on to the fastest. Would love to learn string the pot. If you have any more videos on it please let me know. I am an avid fire spinner so thank you again for the knowledge.

Orbitals, man. Got me addicted. I can reliably hyperloop forward spin right to left, reverse spin left to right, but the other directions mess me up

Learned orbitals first yet took about a year of constantly working at it. I learned how to get out of it befor ever getting them to lock into place from all my fails. Air wraps after that came natural the first time I tried.

I love tangles but since I've started learning poi-contact and -juggling my tethers grew thicker and stiffer, making swivels unpractical and several tangle moves not really possible / nice to perform. No-beats took the place of hyperloops in my heart :)

So hilarious how many people can do only one, i for example can do airwrap easily and orbitals okayish and airwarp feels like the basis of orbitals to me but than i meet people saying the opposite. poi is such a fun thing :)

The first I learned was a hyperloop then many many hours to get orbitals. I have a tough time still to get them balanced, would never attempt to throw one in a show yet.

orbitals work for me okayish and air wraps work all the time, but hyperloop is so weird, i never got that to work in the past. maybe i should spend some time to puzzzle about that again.

I'm surprised that my favorite isnt in this video it's similar to thread the needle but cross the strings and push through it and if you get it down right can come out into an orbital every time

I've managed to pick up a lot of tricks without too much trouble or commitment. Air wraps is definitely NOT one of them! I still can't do them!!

I seriously had the hardest time with airwraps. I remember there was a day that I just decided I was going to figure it out and I went to a local park and decided I couldn't go home until I could do the trick 3 times in a row and understand why it was either working or not working.

Orbitals have been a pain for me to master. I learned hyper loops within 3 hours with my socks which helped massively with my orbitals which i was learning first thou suck at it with my firepoi. I can now get orbitals to spin well ish not super fast thou but i use ball chain and I've had a go with pro chains so pro chains will soon be in the post. Ball chain just slips apart too easy when I pull them

I've never broken a chain, but I know the pain of orbitals and fire poi. They make orbitals so damned hard when you're learning them and yet once you've got them down so much easier to execute.

DrexFactor Poi Chris at Home of Poi told me I was the first person in 10 years to break one of their chains. He also knew exactly how I did it without asking lol
