You can press the button by the shoulders once to move the seats back. You don't need to hold it 🙌

The big one for me is the lack of fuel capacity. Really the only thing that isn’t fixable.

Great video once again, I've just sold my m2 og and are on the look out for a competition, best car I've ever owned didn't have any dislikes at all with it just the mighty m2 competition will be as good, keep up the good videos buddy, it's great to see the champ is back.

I'm totally with you on the steering settings - Comfort is the only way to go. The other 2 are just artificially heavier and feel like crap. I really wish it wasn't adjustable at all. Completely useless IMHO. At the very least, I wish I could default it to Comfort and not have to set it (via M1 in my case) every time I drive the car.

The only thing I don’t like is the sun visor leaves a gap for sun to go through between the pillar. I changed to Remus aa and m1 m2 all I need. You can adjust setting 2 for your seats for when you have passengers for 1 click. I love the stock height also coming from coilovers less worry for pot holes lol

True about the sound. I got an OPF back system from Milltek and now I'm happy with the sound. Overall is such a perfect driverscar, and I really love the looks of the car. If you see what car manufacturers are making these day's... I would never sell the ///M2C.

One annoyance for me is hill starts with the DCT, especially in any form of damp road. Seems to struggle to pull away without either spinning its wheels or rolling back whilst the clutch engages. Always have a panic when someone pulls up right behind on a hill start

Totally agree the exhaust sound is a bit of a disappointment. I want it to be loud and popping . Other than that the rest I can live with

The reversing is the worst thing

Biggest gripe for me is the rev matching on my manual transmission (going to override with some mapping), wheels - too busy, bitch to clean & impossible to clean the barrels well without pulling the wheels. I painted the muffler

About getting it lower: just drive it fast enough through bumps in a way that you force the suspension to almost or actually hit its lower end. Repeat 10 to 20 times. Eventually the springs will permanently shrink a little, thus lowering the car body. It’s not a joke, it actually works and no, it does not damage the car

I went and got the manual M2 in the end :) don’t miss the 140 at all so far… over the moon with the sound of my og M2! The one and only hate I have of the car tho is the bloody reversing beep that won’t shut up unless you turn off the car completely! does the M2 comp not suffer from that issue?

I really fancy jumping up from my m140i to a m2 competition because they look fantastic and they go round corners really well, BUT there seems to be quite a few negatives with the m2. When i think of negatives with the m140i, yes out of the box they are a bit crap but with a bit of work it's hard to find to many faults with it. I really want to make the switch but is it really worth the extra 10/15k price tag and then all the monthly/ yearly extra £££. Please help 🙏

Well, I was thinking about to get m2 cs, but.....sound is so bad :( there is opf filter...but even usual m2 gut not the best sound :(, I want to drive rear wheel car...but seems I gonna buy Audi rs3 2017-18 without that opf crap and with mega sound even full stock..I love how m2 looks like and your issues are to solve with stage 1 for 511hp and you can ask tuner to change all these settings how you want to :). Actually m3 will be better for you. There is no opf 2016-2018 and it's louder + got much more options and 5 doors :) but for me, in Germany, I have to pay an insurance in amount of 1500 eur yearly for m3 and 1000 for m2 or 580 for Audi rs3 :) all car got nearly same price level here but m2 cs is younger

I have a mk5 gti dsg, I can say it defiantly doesn't have any of your issues, if you want to swap I am willing to live with these issues your m2 has 🤣☺️

What I hate is Iv never been robbed in all 33 years on this planet my parents have never been robbed or any of my family members, once you get a car like this they break into your home while your in and end up in a fight because you have to protect your family all because people want what you have and then sleeping becomes a nightmare because theirs a 52 percent chance of them returning since they failed the first time so every noise your on edge, on a happier note it’s 650 quid for a major service at bmw they scan your key and it tells them what it needs thought that was pretty cool never knew they did that 😂

The backbox is almost as ugly on my m4 just slightly more hidden
