Your #4 complaint has me puzzled: the "3 Second Rule" is why that indicator exists. If you're less than 3 seconds behind a car you risk not being able to react to sudden braking. Without it you need to count/calculate on a constant basis. I appreciate not having to 1-Missisipi my way down the freeway. Agree about the interior. I'm really enjoying my EUV but the hard, cheap plastic is MEH. My package includes the adjustable driver's seat and heating, but the passenger is stuck with the old levers.
Not sure how useful it is, but standard is to be 4 seconds behind the vehicle in front of you, so for ease of use they put it in seconds so you dont have to think.
It used to be 2 seconds. I've never heard anyone suggest 4 seconds before. Even at two seconds, you'll have a bigger gap than 80% of the vehicles around you, and sometimes have people filling in that gap in front of you. At 4 seconds and 70mph, that's a 20 car length gap. Cars will be constantly cutting in front of you, forcing you to continually slow down to maintain that 4 second gap.
I have put 3000 kms on my Bolt EV and I love the thing. I find the seats comfortable but they are certainly not a premium seat. I always try and pay attention while driving so don't care about the drivers assists. Frankly it scares the bleep out of me that people are not paying attention and relying on this stuff with their lives and lives of others at stake. Please everyone pay attention while driving!
Definitely want to be paying attention. Driver assistance is meant to enhance the driving experience but making it MORE safe. Most systems do that effectively, just not this one.
@@MetzTech I've felt that way about my Volt (with a V as in Victor lol). The blind spot monitoring is virtually useless. All it seems to do is light up a tiny icon in the side view mirror that doesn't catch my eye at all. No beeps or anything to alert me that someone is in my blind spot that I didn't see when I turned my signal light on to change lanes. Overall, great car though. I just don't trust its driver's assistance features at all, not even compared to my older 2016 Mazda 6
The seats are horrible. It's like they are designed for elves or hobbits. I'm not huge, 6'0 200;bs, but I'm basically sitting on the side bolsters instead of the middle of the seat, and my back doesn't touch the seat back because my shoulder blades hit the bolsters there. I cannot imagine doing a drive more than about 90 minutes. Luckily, due to the world's slowest DC charging, that's probably not going to happen very often. 😆
I'm a recently retired senior, not a technophile nor phobe, not a rally car driver, and not a fancy car snob. I don't require elite handling, super-fancy software and displays, or tons of gadgets and features. I just want a good, reliable daily driver to go shopping, maybe throw the golf clubs in the back for a round, perhaps pop out to the cabin for a weekend, an hour and a half round trip. I do appreciate the cost savings in fuel and maintenance an EV gives and I've been looking around for one pretty seriously. It sounds like the Bolt is the car for me.
I think the "seconds" display (for how far away you are from the car in front of you) is because today's "Driver Knowledge" test asks questions about distances to vehicles in seconds. When I was a kid, the questions were in feet. So maybe the "seconds" display is for new drivers. Just a thought.
Great video. Concerning the heated seats and power seats, in Ontario, Canada, I'm showing standard heated front seats + heated steering wheel, and standard 8-way power driver seat with 2-way power lumbar, 6-way manual passenger seat. Maybe Canada only, or they updated their standard offering?
the reason for the distance being shown in seconds is because most drivers ed classes, even for Commercial Drivers, teaches following distance in seconds. namely, the rule being taught is to keep between at minimum 4-6 seconds of distance. by the car showing it in terms of that time, people taught following distance in time will be able to easily tell proper following distance.
Overall, I like the video...however... You can't really complain about your "base" model not coming with, as you put it, "luxury features". If you wanted those, then you should've ponied up for a higher trim level, etc.
I am planning to get the 2023 Chevy Bolt EV 2LT car this coming spring 2023. Being retired, I am the only person driving this car and will be for mainly around town, so all the things you talk about are mood points for me. All my charging will be at home since most of my traveling will make it on one charge - and maybe for several days before next charge is needed. Adaptive cruise is an option on this Bolt but still planning on getting that option - the EV versions never did have super cruise and I do not do highway driving to need it. I did test drive the Bolt at the dealership and I really like the 2023 version car. Sure the car has some quick accelerations, but I don't drive the cars like that. take care.
Been driving for over 40 years - never needed to drive 95 mph in an "emergency situation." This is not nit-picking... it's grasping to come up with 5 complaints about the car.
You bring up the price point a lot which I believe is valid. However, having just purchased a 2022 Bolt EUV, I will say we primarily went with it because it is so economical. The charging and maintenance costs are incredibly low compared to competing economy ICE cars. The battery longevity is far more promising than the Nissan Leaf which lacks active cooling. I'm confident that our Bolt can hit 250K+ miles with 70-80% of the original battery capacity. If you're a bargain shopper like we are and want to drive this thing into the ground, you'll find that when break it down to cost per mile over the life of the car, this is one of the cheapest cars you can buy.
@@MetzTech Would you happen to know if dealers across the country can service the Bolt? It would seem like that would be a reason to prefer the Bolt over the Tesla, since they have so few repair facilities and even in a handful of states that don't even have any repair facilities!
@valueofnothing2487 any certified Chevy dealership should be able to service Bolts! But yes that’s definitely a selling point over Tesla, at least for now.
For everyone! He made a huge mistake. The distance between you, and the car in front, have to be measured in seconds 2 sec as minimum. The reason why? is because that is the time to take between you activated the breaks and the the car star have a significant slowdown to avoid an accident. Imagine if you go at 65 m/h your car travels more distance than if you go at 30m/h, ergo it's more es measure the distance in seconds rather than feets !
Here's one more thing you're not going to like. They just added 2020 - 2022 bolt and bolt euv to the battery recall We bought the 2020 bolt because there wasn't a recall and the dealer assured us it used different chemistry go figure.
I was waiting for the first one of these comments. 😅 Here’s a gold medal 🥇 Absolutely sucks. It is a different battery chemistry but apparently there is still an issue. They gotta replace the whole battery. Super unfortunate.
@@MetzTech we have alittle less than 5k on our bolt I love the little monster it's a ball to drive but now we're stuck unless we do a cash buyback because thanks to the recall there are no current GM EV's to trade for only ICE vehicles. And battery repair or replacement will probably take years just because of the shear number of batteries in the recall .
I'm in the same exact boat. Boat a 2020 to avoid the recall... Love the car. Guess I'll follow the guidance but it really gimps the vehicle. Ball is in GM/LGs court on fixing this.
I don't remember what it's actually called, but the sensors in the rear bumpers (that indicate when objects are approaching from a lateral direction) is totally underestimated, and very helpful when backing out of parking spaces. Especially when parking next to large vehicles. It can spot an oncoming vehicle much quicker than you can see it. But, I also think it helps that I have a rear view mirror camera. It can see almost 90 degrees from the rear bumper, so it's like a parascope when backing up! excellent safety feature on the premier trim level. on my Premier trim 2017 Bolt
And now these are under recall as well. That sucks because I have a 2019 BoltEV LT and was approved for a swap to a EUV…..now they won’t let anyone anymore. 😡
I love mine so far. The biggest issue I forsee is the fast charging speed. The Mach-E, ID.4, Tesla, etc all can receive up to 175-250 kw/h for DC Fast charging and our EUVs can only take 55 or so. That needs to be improved. It'll really only be an issue during road trips (which I RARELY take) but for others it'll keep them from buying an EV or EUV over competitors....Overall I am LOVING my EUV though.
The Mach E achieves a maximum of 150 kW charge rate, and the ID4 does a max of 125 kW. Neither the Mach E or the ID4 achieve charging speeds that are that much faster than a 2012 Model S! LOL Tesla is the only one that achieves a meaningfully fast charge rate, with the exception of the Porsche Taycan.
I am with you on the lane assist. My mom has a 2-3 year old Kia soul and I drove it while visiting. I forgot she had mentioned her dislike of the lane assist and it was actually helpful when I was driving back home from hanging out with a friend late one night. Kind of disappointed my 2022 bolt EuV lt2 we just purchased doesn't have that feature
we have a 2017 Bolt premier and love it. about your #4 hate: The 'seconds behind the car in front' is not meant for you to do math. In driver's ed and in defensive driving courses, they teach that a safe following 'distance' is 2 seconds. variable distance by speed makes sense to me. now if I could suggest a replacement for your #4, I would say the radio controls. to get to the equalizer takes about 4clicks through the menu. I hate that. thanks for the vid
Great set of Bolt EUV videos, and you've really help me make my decision to buy one if I can find a dealership that doesn't want to play a bunch of games, otherwise I'll look at the EV6 that will sell it at MSRP, no games. I'd like to have seen an auto lift gate available, in at least the premier. Thanks again for the time you take to produce great content.
I took delivery of my Bolt EUV Launch Edition today in Baytown Texas. Thank you so much for your videos, I hope Chevrolet appreciates the reach and influence your videos have. Between your videos and how well I was treated at the dealership where I purchased I'm really happy with my new car. I'm looking forward to playing with super cruise! So thank you again, your videos got me off the fence and into the driver's seat.
@@david.e.h. How are you liking it? Im 6 months in to my Tucson PHEV (LOVE IT) and Im really looking for a 2nd car to be a "town utility driver". I think this would be perfect for dinner, movies, groceries, dogs to the park and Wal-Mart/Costco runs. I actually like it being a bit smaller here in LA so I can fit in tighter compact spots at Dodger Stadium and SoFi (I mean the Getty Museum) size compared to the Mach-e (wife choice) & EV6 (my choice) However I NEED the Premier for the Super Cruise coming from the Tucson...
@@RobotDecoy i really like it. It's a solid little vehicle, for the price and the fact in some places you can just walk in a buy one. I have and EV6 on order and a reservation for an Aptera. It's a great around town car, not going to take 4 people and luggage to the airport, but as an everyday run about, it's great. I charge at home , so I'm not dependent on charging stations. I have a launch edition with super cruise and all the bells and whistles. I'm glad i bought it.
Interesting viewpoints and thanks for the reference! I'd love to see if any owners are actually getting closer to 60kW of DCFCing, as in my EUV review, I only saw 53kW. However, my starting SoC was about 26% so I bet one needs to be below 20%, closer to 10%, maybe to see the top spec charging speed, event for a minute or so. I would generally agree with your viewpoints here, however they are almost all subjective and to you the seats are uncomfortable, to others they are not. I drove an older Bolt for a bit a couple of years ago, and had no issues with those seats and comfort for me. Sure, the tech could be better and I did not test out the LKA solely on the EUV, only SuperCruise, which worked pretty well like Tesla's AP (which is the benchmark I test other OEM systems on as I own a Model 3 and use AP a lot on the highways). If those systems are important to a prospective buyer, then I would recommend just going with the Premier Trim and adding on SC. It is worth it overall, especially in the U.S. where more roadways are mapped in. I think we are in agreement that the Bolts overall are GM's value offerings to get those thinking of an all-electric, especially as a secondary vehicle, to look at them since they are "affordable" - in the grand scheme of EV pricing. For sure we need EV pricing to come down to cost-parity with ICEV, however it is what it is today and one should not wait to buy an EV. Next to the ID.4 here in Canada anyway, the Bolts are excellent BEVs that compete pretty ok on pricing and features, against other comparable ICEVs. For a larger vehicle, the ID.4 is the best BEV value today, IMO overall. Glad you like your EUV and thanks for joining the "EV Revolution" and getting rid of a tailpipe, since after all that is one of the most important points!
I finally got to sit in the EUV last night and I’ve got a few quick ones: excessive piano black on the dash. I already struggle with the chrome trim on the interior of my Cruze. Next is the lack of a standard rear armrest. 3rd is the ugly blue badging on the trunk. 4th is the USB ports on the rear of the center console. That sticks way out into the middle passenger space and is sure to be a knee knocker. As for the lack of some features, my 2017 Cruze stickered for $24k and still lacked any lumbar adjustment for the drivers seat, lacked a sliding sun visor, lacked tint across the top of the wind shield. It’s a GM thing to skimp pennies on the littlest things
Lol, this is hopefully going to be my very first new car purchase and also my very first ev purchase and I have to say, none of these things apply to me at all, sounds great!
The 1 thing I hate about my 22 Chevy Bolt EUV Premier Launch Edition is that it has been at the dealership service center for 3 of the 5 days I have owned it now due to every possible service code popping up any time you charge it. GM says they have never seen it before, so I guess I am the first. only 400 miles on the car. :(
Here in California we get 7.5 K tax credit from federal government and another 7.5 K credit from state of california. I am super happy about that. If you are not happy and want more bells and whistles go for Tesla. “ Bolt is poor man tesla” It has been my tag line ever since I purchased my first Bolt in 2015.
My biggest problem with the Bolt EUV was the cargo space in the back is SMALLER than the Bolt EV. I don't understand what the point is of a bigger vehicle with less cargo space.
It’s smaller technically speaking, but in practice I find it to be indistinguishable. The added size of the vehicle provides a noticeably more spacious rear seat vs the Bolt EV.
The armrest is narrow, probably because the cabin is narrow! I own a bolt. The car is narrower than most. (A feature I enjoy for the most part) A narrow car allows you to squeeze thru tight spaces, park in smaller spots, or give more room on either size of the vehicle in standard size spots (Which people parking next to you, use for their own benefit...arrrg...they park too close and hug the parking space line!! My pet peeve! "It's MY extra space, not yours!")
Were you comparing the price and options to other EVs or to gas vehicles too? Items mentioned in video are why it is called a base model. Thanks for your opinion, but many might be ok with the way it is because it will be an upgrade from their current vehicle. I'd like to get one someday!
Geeze that mirror…even my old 07 equinox had an auto dim/compass mirror. And u missed something I already bitched about to u in another vid.,.brake light location and lack of led interior lights. Thanks good vid
I'm currently comparing the 2023 model of this vehicle with the 2022 Kia Niro. One of my biggest questions about them both is - do you have to use the paddle for regenerative breaking? I know you can't really answer about the Kia, but if I have to actively use the paddle it seems like a bit of a con as opposed to just letting off the pedal like in a Tesla. Maybe I'm misunderstanding but I was hoping for some clarification.
I have not driven a Niro. But in the Bolt, if you have one pedal mode enabled you just lift off the accelerator pedal and it automatically starts slowing down. Then you can also use the regen paddle for extra regen!
@@MetzTech Ah gotcha! Thank you so much for clarifying! i’m test driving one on Friday and other than it unfortunately not having some of the things you mentioned like adaptive cruise control and power seats, heated/ventilated seats, etc. are a bit of a bummer in a 2023 but it’s probably my top pick for an affordable EV at the moment.
I drove my euv 9000km in 2.5 months, I was expecting to get lower range in winter which is normal for any EV but bro the legs area stays cold all the time because you don't have anything like the engine cars to get some heat around the leg area.and the max speed limt for those bolt euv and ev is 145km hour , don't need it anyway because the max speed limt in Canadian hw is 130km h
I have the Bolt EV. I like the shifter infinitely better than the push buttons on the EUV. It allows one petal driving without having to be on the petal all the time. In the EV, in drive you can coast with minimal regen drag while going to low or hitting the regen paddle, or both, lets you throw out the anchor and engage one petal driving for sure. Plus I don't have to look down at a button to toggle. Significantly greater human factors engineering in the original Bolt and a big step down on the EUV. GM must have copied the greatly inferior Tesla and Hyundai systems here. This is a big disappointment for city driving because I like the idea of super cruise on highways. I would have bought one were it not for this deal breaker! Also, the environmental controls are a step backward on the EUV if you ask me. Too many engineers changing a good system into a bad one. (Hope GM reads this!)
When I post polite critical comments on other Chevy EV videos, they are typically deleted, so hopefully you are not on their payroll. Bought a 2018 new, was denied a buy-back, so we paid Chevy more $ for 2021 to get out of the scary 2017-2019 battery issues. Within WEEKS learned ALL Bolts would need battery replacement. Both the 18 and 21 make the jet engine fan noise whenever charging in hot weather, which is very disconcerting. Have waited 1.5 yrs for new battery and dealer that took our 2018 has, too. Can't do the 90% range cap and not go below 70 mls due to long commute in winter temps. After a bunch of critical posts I recently made, Chevy miraculously has a battery for me now so will get that in 10 days. Today is cold and hearing popcorn/percolator sounds if plugged in - dealer can't say by phone if it's safe to charge, would have to drive an hour there. So, surfing for answers brought me here. Also just learned of a new fire-related recall on Bolts related to seatbelt pretensioner in wrecks igniting the carpet, but dealer doesn't know when part will be avail. We're stuck with the car since resale has tanked. The early adopter tax has not been enjoyable. I believe their Ultium is LG, too, so...
Biggest complaint - too much software and the most useful software is behind a paywall. - I am perfectly okay with basic button controls for everything, ditching the infotainment system altogether. This would require the dash display to also contain battery/charging information. - The most useful software for me (past the battery info) is the remote start through the app......that requires a subscription to onstar. I already had an issue with the software on the car (~200 miles). I forgot to put it in park, the next morning when I was driving it, the infotainment system refused to acknowledge that the vehicle was on...while I was driving it. So, I couldn't adjust the airflow to defrost the front windshield. Because of software. Just stupid. - Never had this fail with manual controls (I am sure people have).
Personally I liked the cloth seats in my test drive of the 2022 bolt EV. Leather and phaux leather makes way too much noise from you simply moving around in my opinion.
Im a former 2017 and 2021 Bolt owner. The lane assist never kept car centered, it would ping pong back and forth from each side of the lane. I also thought if Bolt could tell me time between me and car in front, it could probably do adaptive cruise control, too. Finally, don’t know if it has changed or not, but the overhyped OTA updates happened only one time on my 2017 for an infotainment update. Had a couple other updates, but they always required me to bring car to dealership. That all being said, I thought Bolt was a great car for the money. I no longer own my previous Bolts because of the battery fire recall, but I would definitely consider another….Bolt assuming battery issue had been resolved. Btw, did GM add a light to the glove box yet? 🤣
Metz......Chevy Bolt is a commuter car I wouldn't be complaining. Now a Subaru Outback is a road trip vehicle, that's when you want the overpriced extra options
I don’t disagree entirely, it’s definitely designed for shorter term trips. However I still feel at its price point, it could have a few more bells and whistles…other vehicles in the segment have them
@@MetzTech fully agree, that's why I keep my 2018 Outback in the garage and drive my 2007 Malibu beater to work lol. But a Bolt will be in the near future for work
@@RichardCasey1967 Fine automobile indeed. Best of both worlds? You could make the case for the Prime fitting that description if the bulk of your driving is done on electric. Regular hybrids aren't going to get us out of this mess, but I realize not everyone cares about that.
I just got to the point where you talk about the rear view mirror. If you are a rear view mirror snob, you HAVE to try the premier trim level LCD camera rear mirror. I wouldn't get another vehicle without it. It's that good. Heavy tinted windows?? No problem...Your vision is through a camera OUTSIDE THE TINT. This is especially valuable a night where looking thru dark tint makes seeing things more difficult and dangerous. Boxes or people normally blocking rear view mirror?? No Problem. The camera is outside the vehicle. PLUS, you can see such a wide angle of view, using side mirrors are almost optional. Such a great safety feature. If Elon Musk drove cars with rear view mirror cameras, every Tesla would have them...They are that good! (Ok, I see you mention the rear view mirror camera later in the video, but I think it you lived with one, you would be shouting out it's benefits even more)
I agree with you 100%. specially with the tag price for bolt ev. the LT trim level could come at least with the rear view mirror like the premier or in the infotainment to have the option for rear view camera although you can't see 360 view like premier. the power energy management in the infotainment is mediocre in terms of information, doesn't show battery percentage anywhere just only mileage. we need or want to know more how the vehicle is performing. charger cable, just only for level one. now the 2022 has level 1 and 2 but I think that this is an option.
What do you think as a car that's your first? I was planning to get into Tesla Model 3 but I've heard a lot of negative opinions on Musk and his cars, and it's a bit pricy for me honestly. And well I thought the EUV with upgrades seems a lot more doable than the Tesla price for me. Sounds like some features are lackluster but buying my first car and starting to drive, do you think it'll be that much of a deal breaker for me? It seems like not much of a big deal for some of these setbacks but I mean I'm not sure you know?
They have them, they’re just not available to buy. They hide them on the backlots. Once they can perform the recalls they’ll put them back out there. Probably another month or two
Sounds like you should have got the higher trim level, or a Tesla. I think Chevys plan is to sell a electric car with good range at a low price. $34k is about as low as it gets for a car with about a 250 mile range. So yes that means no heated seats and cheep plastic interior, because people know that most of the money goes towards the batteries. So if Chevy is listening then sell us a car that doesn't have a bunch of options on the base model making the price higher. The one thing I don't like about this car is the gear selector on the center console. Could have put that on the dashboard and better utilized the space for storage.
One of the reasons I got the Premier is the HD rear view mirror. By the way the EV doesn't have the HD mirror option, you can't get it on that car only the EUV. I also got leather seats with adaptive cruse, standard in the Premier, for the extra bucks it's well worth it for me. No super cruse, no Bose either, have it in my 2020 EV and it's useless, they put the sub in the spare tire compartment - yeah that works! I never thought the distance thing was worth anything, I never use that screen.
The trends currently are the headlights in the crash area where the bumper used to be. Dumb design. Also, why the low brake lights? You want to be seen by the drivers behind you. Another missed mark. And another dumb trend.
You don't need to do mental math to figure out your following distance. Reaction time is what matters, and at a given speed, corresponds directly with distance. Two seconds should be the minimum following time, if other drivers will allow it.
You got me intrigued: please name one highway where you cannot keep up with the traffic at 95 mph. Overall, a low quality review showing that you don't really understand the economics of EVs at this point in time.
I've driven from Las Vegas to LA and back... Fast Road. 75 mph speed limit and well, nobody paying much attention to it. Some roads in Montana don't have speed limits, I think and of course parts of the Autobahn in Germany.
en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Speed_limits_in_the_United_States#:~:text=Portions%20of%20the%20Idaho%2C%20Montana,on%20Texas%20State%20Highway%20130. Hmm maybe not no limit in Montana. Highest US speed limit is 85 mph in Texas. So you are just driving 10 mph over the limit at 95. But seriously, I'm not sure what the Bolts range would be at a constant of 85 or 95.
No offense, but this is basically you saying “man I should’ve got the premier” and no complaints valid against Chevy. Spend an extra few thousand if you want those features. You’re already spending 35k.
Nice review! I’m considering getting the bolt euv but I’m a bit concerned for not having vents in the rear,, did you notice being an issue with cooling or heating rear seat? Thanks
@@MetzTech Thanks! Also did you notice any issues with rear suspension when going over train tracks or bumps being noise or stiff, as per some reviews?
It does not do great over potholes. There isn’t a ton of give, especially compared to my Crosstrek that I had before. It’s not the worst I’ve driven though
You can disable the Lane Keep Assist, Front Pedestrian Detection and Forward Collision System. And you can adjust the gauge cluster so you don’t see the Driving distance monitor
I definitely NOT gonna buy it after seeing your review. I’ve got frustrated watching your video alone, reading from reviews that some ppl had to take it to a dealership 5 times in first 15k because of bad quality control, now makes a lot of sense
You’ve obviously owned very few vehicles. What you’ve bought is a $25k car sitting atop a $10k battery. That’s why your car is $35k. So, you should expect a low rent interior.
I use an amplifier that consumes 14volts @ 120 amps. I direct connect it to the car battery under the hood. How would I connect an amplifier in the bolt ?
HAH! GM does it again! does the VOLT come with free flammatory technology! I get to drive and roast marshmallows when it catches fire! GM! they continue to represent AMERICAN ingenuity
Glad you asked, I’m working on a 1 year review video and I talk about that a bit. It’s very good IMO. Honestly too good sometimes, I end up turning it off and on bc it gets cold so quickly.
We picked up a 19 Bolt LT last weekend, my one major gripe about it is DC Fast charging speed. Any EV these days needs to charge higher than the Bolts 55KW limit (and thats only up to around 50%. With mine, once it passes the 60% mark, getting it over 25KW isnt happening) and thats the case with the 2023 model too, GM shouldnt have cheaped out on this.
The less gadgets around, the less problems. Power seats?? Who cares!!! Its quicker to pull the lever and adjust the seat anyway. All little luxuries a person can go without.
You could almost say it's a great car for $20,000. But for the actual price it's a rip off. If I'm going to make the switch to electric why am I going to give all the savings to the car makers? By switching to electric, car makers eliminate 40% of man hours needed to make the car. Prices should be going down not up.
My number one issue with the Bolt EUV is the real brake lights. The large lights at the back are not brake lights. Only the top center light and the two bottom 2" x 4" lights come on when braking. They did fix the brake lights to work with the regen braking.
Do you think 92 is bad? Try driving An e transit that is capped at 81 miles an hour going to pass some asshole in the fast lane doing 60 and then he jets up to 85 so you can’t pass him
I also HATE that Chevrolet only offers premium package in Leather! Faux leather ( like in my Prius) is so much nicer, so much more modern and so much more humane!!! It’s like GM did not get the memo! Toyota and Tesla have used incredible faux leather for years! What’s wrong with GM? Such backward thinking!! I actually had to order LT rather than getting it fully loaded just to avoid the archaic leather seats! So disappointing!!!
