This is a video discussing why I have SOLD my speed master professional several times. I have had several variations even the speedy date, vintage speedmasters, and speedmaster autos
The Speedy was my first luxury watch. I love it. It is very attractive and the crown is not too small for me. It did make me thirst for more and more watches but when I actually wear it, I am content.
I am thinking about getting a Speedmaster Pro with sapphire. Just because i can't stand scratches on a crystal. But, the lack of good micro-adjustment on the clasp holds me back. I own the Seamasters 2531.80 and 2254.50. I just cannot find the perfect fit and hate that. So the lack of good micro-adjustment on the Speedy is a problem for me.
No hacking. Not COSC. Only 50 meter WR. No column wheel / vertical clutch. And all that for a couple of Thousand dollars,.... that too holds me back a bit. The Longines Big-Eye movement is more high-end.
The 2254.50 seamaster is one of my favorite seamasters produced. It’s a great watch. If you love the speedy enough, there is always the option of swapping the clasp.
@@WatchDisplay no I don't have one because it's useless to me. I like complications I can use in my everyday life. If I were into motorsports that would be different.
