Finally just got a gs460. Silver with black interior, hks exhaust and tanabe springs. It has radar cruise AND the active sway bars. I’m looking into a tune and definitely the isf tcm
I just got a 2006 gs 430, you named all the things I also love about mine, it's the small things that make me happy. Sunshade, sliding console to hide buttons, the James bond drop down controls haha. Such lovely cars!
Nice ride bro... I'm about to get one of these in the next month or two. Crazy cause I was looking at the LS 430 or LS 460, but I really love the exterior and interior styling of this generation GS more. However, I thought Lexus discontinued the V8 in the GS with the previous gen. Not until I saw a 2006 GS 430 for sale online that I realized they didn't. I was even more blown away when I realized they updated the 2008 with the 4.6 V8. So that's what I'm getting! Anyway, that engine sound is a beast, even at idle and startup. Did you mod it to beef up the sound or is that all stock?
The funny thing is that the monster mustang is actually awd. Great video, im thinking about getting one as there is one close to me and im not ready to give up my v8 power after my current ls400
Dopest daily for sure, I currently have a 97 LS400 with 380k miles. It's still fine but I'm ready to upgrade to one of these babies was thinking about just gifting the LS to a friend in need
I own a 2010 in NZ ... got it (140kms ) $11000 nz .. dark blue (but looks black ) .. full tints ... do cold air box , headers and exuast , throttle body adapter (increases size ) and up tune ... 400 +HP cost me extra $3/4 k ... so nz $15k .. got a 400+hp gs 460 .. parts all standard lexus performance parts .. think thorton uptune ( 3stages of hp .. stage 3 extra 60 hp think ... had mk3 7mgte 380kw rear wheel ... methanol injection , 5boost settings , launch control , etc .. had 3 4 litre quad cam 2dr coupes (lexus to u , soarors to us ) one was a AWS modle .. rare as , had a 2.5 twin turbo coupe and a 3 litre coupe ... might keep this gs , you know only , between 08-13 only .... 1616 gs 460s made for world .. so they are rare as ... keep it , garage it .... thats what im going to do , then buy another later v8 model next yr ... or if can find one in good condition and low miles and owners a 430 coup ... only one havent owned , was going to get one about 18mnths ago but waited and got the gs460 instead .. a 5 litre model be nice though ..

Beautiful car, could have bought one, didn't because since was made just 1 yr., felt certain parts would be to difficult & too expensive to replace. Last thing it's not any faster than car I did buy - GS400.
An IS 350 of the same model year would be door-to-door with the GS 460. However, after a 1/4 mile, no sir. IS 350 will not be able to hang unless modified. The two are similar from 0 to 60 though. The newer IS 350 is an entirely different story though. The new 2024 IS 350 is a tad slower from 0 to 60 but not significant. Still not seeing the GS 460 on the top end. Would the GS 460 blow the doors off the IS 350? No, not at all. What I am saying is it will be a dog fight. - Respectfully.
That’s exactly what I want…a healthy car! I talked to a few guys that have experience with the GS460 and they said new headers will actually help the engine not run so hard.
Hey man what do you think would be a good deal for a 460 with 172k mileage? Someone has there white/tan interior up for 8000. I really would prefer a low mileage example tho.
I bought my GS460 with 170k miles about a year ago and I’ve had zero major issues with it. I’ll most likely be making a video of my one year ownership of it with high mileage so you can know an in depth look at the things to consider. I appreciate your comment. Comments like these are what give me ideas to make more videos!
I'm so jealous of that V8 man lol. I have a super clean black on black 2011 GS350 creeping up on 140k. My 10th car and the best one I've owned hands down. Very nice ride my friend!

I know but doesn't it automatically turn back on if you start to slip? thats why you can't drift these cars without doing a wiring mod. I've got a 2010. @@ajoros
