What year B9 do you have? I have a 2018 and it doesn't have the stuff you mentioned like adaptive cruise control and lane centering. That said, mine is a premium plus not prestige. One thing I wish it has is remote start (or a way to add it that's not so difficult or requires sacrificing a keyfob)
2018 Prestige with S Sport Pkg and Driver Assistance Pkg. I believe you can add remote start with the Audi phone app but you have to pay a subscription for all the connected services
I have a 17 A4 prestige. Pros: - appearance - plenty of room to work on the engine - abundance of features - great MPG even in sport mode all the time - the S tronic / DCT transmission is remarkable. Shifts are quick and smooth. - the best HVAC system I’ve ever had in a car, having it on auto at all and the heat is nice and hot and the a/c is ice cold - sound insulation inside car is amazing, you don’t have a lot of road noise if you have the acoustic glass Cons : - B&O sound system rattles when you bump it or play certain songs - slight door creaks or rattles when closing and opening from the door panel itself - mines is black so always dirty, but not really a fault to Audi - ventilated seats only pull air, they don’t push air up to you, so it seems a bit weak. All in all, I’ve known too many people to count that have hated VW or Audi or just German cars in general. I’ve grown up a Toyota guy and tried an Audi after working on a few VW’s and Audi and I must say they are amazing vehicles
Definitely looking at buying a older one, B8.5 , B9 isn’t for me, the steering wheel isn’t a true flat bottom and they replaced the cool aluminum ball shifter to the ugly A8 one. And can’t forget the biggest atrocity of all, it’s now turbocharged, single small turbo, I def don’t want to deal with turbo lag, supercharged all the way for me.
Definitely is a true flat bottom wheel. The aluminum shifter looked like ass lmao. And the turbocharged b9s are outperforming the b8s all day long including pulling faster 0-60. So what lag? 😂
Another cool video. I also have the same exact spec you do. Although I've never experienced the beeping, but what's weird is that I have heard other people experiencing this, even with a Brand new S4.. As a matter of fact, "TheTopher" channel reviewed the S4(Albeit, his loaner was a Premium Plus I believe) and in that video his sensors went off randomly as well. I'll see If I can find that video. About the B&O sound system, Bang and Olufsen has different tiers (which frankly I think is BS). The Bang and Olufsen you get in Ford products are "B&O by Bang and Olufsen", B&O being their more consumer brand/lower tier products. In Audis and other luxury brands, it's the full Bang and Olufsen, you won't find any "B&O" sound systems in anything more than consumer brands. Quite frankly, they should just market their "B&O" tier sound systems as Harman Kardon as Harman owns the automotive sector of Bang and Olufsen. Of course the Bang and Olufsen name is more prestigious, so thats why they do that, but the "B&O" sound systems in Fords are quite trash. It kind of ruins the brand reputation of Bang and Olufsen in my opinion, but at the same time, I have a B9 A4 and I think the Bang and Olufsen in my car is above average but not spectacular. The bass and power of the system is great (but at times ruined by rattles), but it's very sharp and isn't very warm sounding. The Bang and Olufsen of older high end BMWs and Mercedes are far superior and I think that is how it should be, albeit those are usually a $5K stand alone option compared to being standard or $1k upgrade on lower end Audi products. Even the Bang and Olufsen high end on higher end Audis nowadays don't seem that great compared to systems by Burmester and Bowers & Wilkins.
