Very nicely done+ all so true to the beautiful sibe❤ I am on my second "rescue" Siberian Husky! My first husky girl came into my life in 2010, she was just 15 weeks old. The young ( teenage) man that first acquired her was quickly overwhelmed by trying to meet her needs. I am so thankful that she came into my life when she did, as my husband ( soulmate ❤️❤️) had passed away suddenly in February of that year+ I was feeling so lost+ alone. She was a gorgeous red+white husky with ice blue eyes. She was my perfect companion for almost 12 years. She passed away last year- in February 😢. I started looking at Siberian Husky rescue+ was so lucky to find another gorgeous husky girl 😍 She is actually imported from Russia! ( I am now learning some Russian words!). How lucky we are to be able to give and receive the unconditional LOVE with our companion dogs 💞 ^..^

Most important thing to know about all dogs...give them as much love,patience and attention as you can, as they are very worthy of all of the above. I've known too many people who don't have the time or the other stuff I mentioned above, but they think hey I'm going to get a dog because I think it will be good for me..think about what a dog needs too and you should have as great of an experience as I've had with all my dogs,please don't forget it is real work training, bonding and showing them how important they are ! And by all means try adopting from a shelter!

Luka is a large Female at 80lbs and a plush coat. Abused her first year with 4 different families that just didn't understand. She doesn't Speak, Howl or Bark. She only growls at another Dog that would choose to growl at me. Her daily goal, now that she is a Living Teddy Bear is to see how many 2-legged ones will pet her. I think she keeps a mental tally. She is overly calm now. Doesn't know she can jump and we are just now, after 7 months, teaching her its okay to jump from a picnic table top. This will make grooming time a bit easier. She doesn't like being picked up because as a puppy she never was. There is a lot she doesn't know. Hopefully she is forgetting the cruelties of the past. She walks around a lake 2 or 3 times a day ( 3 miles ) and rides with me at work constantly. She will only run after a squirrel or rabbit. All in all we are good together. Huskies are more cat like than dog with being sneaky and quiet when they want to be. The answer you on their terms. So be in alignment with your husky or they will make you miserable.

I had two or more huskies since 1972. They are very high energy and require a lot of work to keep them happy. They are most happy with their humans 24 hours a day and don't like not being around you. There is a lot of hair and it all year around except for the winter when it is snowing and cold outside. They are very smart and you aren't going to get away with much with them around the house. They are very lovable and don't smell like a dog, but you can't let them run around loose, they are gone for hours and who knows what they got into. I rescue my huskies from people who get them and don't have a cue on the amount of work they are. These dogs are not for everyone and you should really read about what it takes to be a husky companion, it is all true.

Our boy is 2 years old. We found him as a pup and after not finding his owner, had him neutered and chipped. He' s two much to handle for me and my husband but we love him. He's too rough to play with our 3 Yorkshire Terriers. My husband says no more dogs as we are both 80 & 82 years. Any ideas on slowing him down so he can have playmates? The Yorkies are10+ years old.

Had eight Huskies over thirty years, as many as five at a time. All but one was a rescue or adoption. They have all passed now,. Present dog is a Border Collie - Husky mix. Love him but miss having a Siberian in the house.

I love your channel. I had a husky and a German Sheppard breed. She was so lovely and her characteristic matched both this video and the video on German Sheppards. She died of old age. Do you have any videos on Akita Inu dogs, especially the American Akita?

Another important thing to remember is that they like to have their own den. Give them an area that is just big enough for them to sleep in, and they'll sleep more comfortably and feel less stressed. Large dog cages/crates work well for this, just leave the doors unlocked or remove them entirely. You can also cover them with a blanket to give them a more secluded feel, and only go into their space to clean when you need to.

Also remember that your Husky is going to get a lot of attention from strangers. So, many times we have been out for walks with our Jasmine to have strangers stop either walking or driving by to comment on how beautiful she is. Another point, a Husky is like having a teenager that is going to argue with you when you say, "No."
