Very little to do and entertainment and very few people have college education. If you don't speak Spanish you're going to have problems in places you never thought like Walmart
Just kinda SKIPPED over jobs there.. sure you mentioned a couple companies moving or moved there, but not how hard it is to find employment that pays a living wage. I was born and raised in El Paso, Lived there for over 40 years. You were not wrong about anything, and seemed to be quite fair in your assessment, good job.

🏠 watched to the end. I lived in El Paso 34 years ago, just visited in October for the first time since 1991. It seems untouched by time and loved every minute back there. Made a video with drone footage if you're interested.

Audrey....we welcome you as a transplant. Thank you for staying here. However, please stop advertising to other states. You RE agents need to quit it. With the wages being so low in El Paso and all the people moving here from other states and bringing their wealth, it's going to be a shit show for El Pasoans to compete when it comes to renting/buying homes. Also, Tex Mex is its own type of food. It's not lesser than Mexican. Just different. Keep in mind that Texas was its own country for a short while. Many people lived in Texas. Blacks, Mexicans, and whites and with that, you could say that Tex Mex is the original style of cuisine in Texas. I've traveled through much of Mexico and let me tell you, Mexican cuisine is usually borrowed from one Mexican state to another. There's no one way to cook or dress Mexican food.
I just moved back after being away for 27 years. The east side has blown up! The northeast has changed some but still looks mostly the same. Love this.

Oof. Home prices are up, you can still find some in the 200,000 range, but the nicer, larger, or custom floor plans can be as high as 500,000 to 800,000 this year 2024. If you are planning to move down from someplace that already has extremely expensive homes, you should be fine. (California, Atlanta, New York). Otherwise, plan on renting or finding a smaller floor plan for the price points listed in the video.
Hi can you tell me what parts of El paso floods and gets snow. Also what areas have the new construction homes. I was told on the west side they have new communities and is a good area. Looking to buy a home.
Hi, As far as flooding it’s mostly the older parts of the city but it doesn’t flood often. Also new construction is all around the city on the Far East, West, and North East. I've been thinking of El Paso alot due to its affordability and how beautiful it looks but I'm afraid of bringing my family somewhere where there's not many of us and for us to feel uncomfortable. Is there alot for family with kids to do over there? I have so many questions.

I was born in Lubbock, Texas. I grew up in the panhandle for 18 years. I am in Virginia here, and dislike it tremendously. Thinking about returning to Texas and going to El Paso.

Im from Santa Cruz, Ca. I moved here 6 months ago, I love it. Its what you make of it out here, lots of things to do. The people are great, the only bad things I see out here is drivers don't have common courtesy. The food is okay, I've had better, The real mexican food is across the border in Juarez. The people are so chill, that im like move move move (coming from a faster city) overall, I think you'll enjoy it out here. I live on the Eastside right now but eventually would like to buy on the West Side.

This young lady provides great information about the city of El Paso TX. I haven't lived in El Paso since the seventies, so it's interesting to me to hear her explain about El Paso currently. I am fluent in Spanish, l studied Spanish for 5 yrs in El Paso. I am retired US Military. I plan to return to El Paso to take a look. 😂 !.
Evidently, she is more interested in making RU-vid videos then she is in actually attracting clients to do business with. Emailed her to discuss a possible listing and never even received a response. I am a former realtor/investor and have bought/sold numerous properties in 3 different states and have found El Paso Realtors to be the absolute worst. Any Realtor from outside El Paso could absolutely run circles around these incompetents.
Suprised at your comment that El Paso has more women than men. Seems very counter-intuitive knowing the largest single employer is the US Army which has a much higher % of men than women. Have you gotten this data from official demographic reports, or is this a hunch based upon your personal exposure to (or frustrations with) social media/dating sites?
Lived here 5 years can’t wait to move back to New Jersey no money here jobs pay nothing at all food is not the greatest no real restaurants all elpasson pick up and move to New Jersey for a better way of living

i hate the food, customer service, outside scenery, lack of fortune 500 companies, bad drivers and lack of normal stores/restaurants the rest as America has. I lived here most of my life so that might be why I hate this place, but I would have to agree the mountains are amazing, and after just moving to the northeast area of the US it is incomparable to the south west. el paso is a really great place to start a family though, however i would not live here as a young college student, more for settling parents type of city.
