Let Him direct you. I will pray for God’s guidance in your life & your ability to understand clearly what He is saying to you. A question to ask yourself is what stems that desire to be single? Is it based on satisfaction in the Lord or fear?

God has called many people to be single. Just follow Him and He will provide all you need in life. You don't need to get married for that to happen!

@Chuck B While you are right, Kristen mentions a lot of qualifications other than being saved for being a "genuine Christian". She's using a man-made definition of "genuine Christian" instead of the Biblical definition, which is where I see fault with her trying to hunt down and use vague signs of a man being a "genuine Christian". By her definition, they go to church, small groups, read the Bible...but none of those make a person saved. It's almost like she's turning church, small groups, Bible reading, etc. into works.

(Mathew 7:21-23, 25:31-46. I encourage you to read the entirety of the books & chapter).

He will also correct you (see Proverbs 3:11-12) we bear fruit by the holy spirit at work within us. It is a continual growth and development like a plant. Therefore, We will see changes in your heart-you will think differently and behave differently than before because of the spirit at work in you.. There will be evidence of God‘s leading and guiding in your life. For many years, I thought I was a question. Yet, I did not have a changed life. I prayed the prayer and thought I was “saved”. It wasn’t until I saw clearly my sin and the truth of who I was. My brokenness was evident. I cried out to God with all of my heart- with a broken heart. I needed His grace. Without him, I knew where I was going. But more than being saved from eternal damnation, I wanted Jesus. I do not want my life to be a part from Him... After that, I asked him for sign, proof that He received me and I became his child. And HE DID!!! He has done far more than what I could’ve ever dreamed. My life is forever changed, my heart is forever His! everything I have, everything I am belongs to him. I have surrendered my brokenness and he has made it beautiful. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. Have you given Jesus all of your brokenness? He continues to change me and he continues to refine me into his image. You are loved by Him. “I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live;” ‭‭Deuteronomy‬ ‭30:19‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Lude Crestfallen being humble biblically isn’t thinking less of yourself, it’s thinking of yourself less. Putting others first. See again you know very little about a belief system you want to criticize, educate yourself. Now whatever you believe makes the same claim Christians make, so whatever high ground you have about being open minded isn’t true because what you believe e.g “there is no god” you believe deists to be wrong, which means you claim the same amount of absolution you think Christians claim.

You have to do what makes you comfortable. Simply ticking the boxes for what you want is not all of it. Have open and honest conversation with your significant other, and always make sure that your wants and needs are being met first. The girls on this channel will talk a lot about ensuring religious value, but that’s not the whole of it. Obviously, if that’s something you desire in a partner, then that is important. However, making sure that you yourself feel secure, loved, and empowered is extremely important. A healthy relationship is a partnership between two people who encourage each other and are open-minded and honest. Try not to get too too wrapped up in everything these girls say. You clearly haven’t studied the Bible and don’t understand that passage were written to a specific context. The passage were Paul says that was in a context where the women were being quite awful, and so he commands them not to speak. But all throughout Paul’s ministry he had women prophesy and teach.
