That Ben White kick on McGinn reminded me of when Ljungberg said how the Invincibles fought for each other. He knew that if an opponent kicked him in that right flank, rest assure Lauren WILL kick the shit out of the guy.
Benny is my favorite player. He's been the best right back on the planet since joining Arsenal and does all the Gattuso work as well. I just love the guy.
Saw some moves, ideas and tactics the team and Arteta have been working on throughout the game, I'm impressed and excited at the levels our team can get to and go beyond,COYG!!
@DuaneWest-o1y there, i said it, now comment using you're other account with the chicken name(Clucking something, Richardstone, JohnEllis, or GranitXhaka). Am sure with your split personality disorder, you must be attending MANY games in your mind
I don’t know when, but if we stick with Arteta we WILL win the league! Can’t believe this is now the club I loved for years and years. WE ARE BACK COYG
@@alexkaranja7059this one has MPD, he has like 6account, n he efforts to do the typing with all them psuedo's(JohnEllis, RichardStone, GranitXhaka, n the most prominent one has some chicken name). Next he'll ask you IF you did attend Arsenal's away game(n then pretend he did before flying Business Class to watch his team Real Madrid in Spain later)......
Honestly, Fabio needs to play in La Liga because he needs to play in Midfield, Spain is known for producing the best midfielders. We need Fabio to go to Getafe, Real Sociedad, Celta Vigo or Villarreal. These teams will develop our boy technically and tactically because as we can see, he doesn't want to lift weights.
😂😂😂😂😂.....I agree with you. He's more technique-minded than being physical. I love to see him play. Can't wit to see him develop real quick. Could be a perfect replacement for Saka. He's got the crosses!
@@khosi_ These teams will develop our injury prone boy because our coaching & medical staff are as clueless as you are Hope that answers your question Arteta fanboy
I think it shows we need another attacking option, apart from trossard you look at the bench and there wasn't anyone else who could come on to change the game offensively
@@markshepherd4791 if R Nelson given enough game time, rather than left to rust away, he has the potential to become a reliable right winger. Unfortunately he is lucky to get 3 mins once a while.
I think Martinelli is afraid that Trossard will take his place instead of focusing on what he does best and that has really knocked down his confidence and decisiveness.
Trossard has to analyse his strength with vigor, if it is that he reads the game like a coach and knows what needs to be done coming from the bench then it isn't such a bad thing starting from the bench, his contribution has more value when he wins us games. He has a positive attitude that rubs off on his teammates when he comes on.
Martinelli is an average player he isn't good enough to be a starter for Arsenal. Arsenal need quality winger to replace martinelli and a quality striker to replace Kia Havertz, Arsenal cannot win the league with Kia Havertz and martinelli leading the attack just mark it unless Artate stop being stubborn and do the right thing and depending on average attacks that can't score 25 30 goals a season.
@@lilian3962 He's average since he lost form, after his injury. I'm not saying Trossard shouldn't claim the starting berth, I'm merely referring to that being his possible strength. If he scores more from the start, then he earned it, instead of off form Gabi.
(1) That, other than Partey's goal, Merino is desperately needed; (2) Martinelli is not the starting answer on the wing; Trossard might be a better option right now, though it would be good to find someone who can play across the front; (3) Saliba is an incredible talent, certainly the best defender in the EPL and maybe all of international football; and (4) Raya's cat-like reflexes prove why Arteta wants him in his as his #1. Villa clearly tried to play the same strategy that they employed last season - waiting for Arsenal to bring the game to them and hit on the counter - but Arteta had the Gunners fairly prepared, though they got a bit lucky with Villa missing some good opportunities... but we've seen that from Arsenal teams of years past, and not being able to finish ultimately costs most teams, and it did so again with Villa.
I think too much pressure is being placed on Martinelli. He's the main reason why Timber got the best of Bailey. Bailey had to be more defensive and conservative in the game because the pace of Martinelli was keeping him in check. He grew into the game after Martinelli left the field.
@@DuaneWest-o1y Crap, did he set his own wages? Wasn't he injured last season? You sound a bit envious. Most of the work that Martinelli does unfortunately does not show up on the stat sheet.
@SagaciousCentaur Wtf have I got to be envious about being a Real Madrid fan ya fool? That 1 FA Cup you won in 5 seasons or that last title u won in 2004? 😅 You absolute clown looool
Nah Ollie is a big Arsenal fan, it killed him that he was in the team that stopped us winning the league last season. He didn't follow that same mistake this season 😂😂 i was soooo happy for ESR❤
What people don't see how alike arteta and emery were tactically, they played a game of chess, arsenal passing the ball in there half then attacking is evident of Spain from 09-2013 where they rebuild and attacked consistently with smart passing, and that caught villa out for that we must applaud the system we were shaky taking it timber 1st start but dude is levels above what we had before arteta is building a squad of players who will challenge hard
Please lay off Martinelli His form has tailed off but so too as Arteta changed tactics and our playing style We saw the best of him when he had an overlapping Keiran Tierney at LB rather than the inverted Zinchenko LB whose always in the midfield Xhaka's departure also has affected his game unlike Saka who's had White & Odegaard aiding his game for the past 2-3 years Timber looks more of a Zinny & Tierney mix but its still early days on what might be between both players He might not be scoring now but his pace is frightening which was something we missed last season when he was injured Trossard is more direct & Arsenal's best finisher yet is more of a very influential impact sub but lacks Nelli's pace which wore down Villa's back 4 before he came on Vini Jr is line for the Balon 'Dor yet it took Carlo Ancelotti to bring out the player in him Let's see if Merino coming in alongside Timber can bring his spark back.
IF we get Merino (I don't assume anything until the contract is actually signed), Rice moves to the holding midfield role and Merino will be the left side attacking midfielder. Partey to the bench. Good video, as usual!
Have to sign a forward! We can't let this window go without boosting the forward line. The club and players surely want to compete for more then just the league this year!
I don’t understand the constant criticism of Martinelli He needs a LM who is a bit more technical than Rice to thrive He’s definitely not the problem He doesn’t even get chances anymore
Bhavs I love ur work after every game I can't wait for ur tactical analysis you show so much dude u deserve a match day view along I find ur content among the best on social media
The fortuitous win has covered up the cracks, and people are too happy to overlook them, but this was not such a good performance for many on the team. For $9m Morgan Rodgers to outclass the duo of Rice ($110m) and Partey ($50m) was troubling. It's too early to write off Martinelli. Let's give him another Xhaka (Merino) and see how he reacts to better visionary passing. Rich is not creative. If we lose Nketiah we have lost about 5 forwards - ESR, Nketiah, Veira, Mika Bieret, and Chido Obi. and Nelson may still go. We must get Gyokeres or Osimhen (whose high price has come down). Jesus can be trusted to stay fit, and we can't afford to take that chance after two consecutive second finishes.
Great breakdown! I pray we get a striker before the window closes. Its time to win a trophy! No more Arsenal are playing well and that's it we need to win the league and a striker will do that
I learnt that Martinelli needs benching despite Trossards excellent form I'm not sure he is a duel winner. Despite all our goals we need a striker who just needs half a chance to score. We are nearly there... well done Mikel & Edu
really surprised if we let the window closed without signing forward line player. They must be gambling if they believe the gabi fitness and stick to him
No way Leo can start. He simply does not have the pace or physicality to make the recovery runs Martinelli made in this match. 3 times Jurien was up the pitch and Martinelli's pace saved us. With Leo in the game, Jurien has to stay back. Leo has to deal with the fact that he's going to be coming off the bench. We are Arsenal, we know that goals are not the only contributions a player makes. Martinelli made major contributions without the ball. To play the way we want to, Leo needs to come on late and Martinelli needs to start. Leo doesn't maintain width or track back nearly as well as Martinelli, nor does he push back the defensive line in the same way. Martinelli gives way more of what Arteta wants, control.
I agree totally with your analysis. But sadly, Martinelli's body language is that of a worried man: the recent criticism about his "lack of end product" in spite of all the other good things he does seem to have got to him. I wish Arteta starts him against Brighton but my gut feeling is that Trossard's reaction after his goal has swayed Arteta. He will start with Trossard...and bring on Martinelli later.
@@emmanuelakpan1774 You could be right. We will have to see. I just feel like we lack pace without Martinelli in he side. What a wonderful discussion to be having. Two really solid options.
These players need to know that they are playing for a team and not for themselves. If you have to be in the bench and come on as sub so be it. No player is bigger than the club and the manager has proven he knows exactly what he is doing. I remember trossard starting a few games last season and he didn't have the same impact as coming from the bench. Also people forget that martinelli was firing before his injury. Even though is taking him time to come back to his best version, I know he will come good again.
@@DuaneWest-o1yand you texting in your free time because in your other personality you're Ancelotti(when you not a Clucking chicken) and properly over qualified to comment matters football.....
I believe that Arsenal's results against Fulham was the real reason they didn't win the league, they dropped 5 points from winning positions, conceding at home in the 87 minute dropping two points, cost us
I think we need to start having a serious discussion about Martinelli's performances. What happened to the dude? Thought he was going to have a great day against that kid that came on after Cash got injured but he was still woeful.
Being an Arsenal fan since 1985 and American…much as I love Martinelli…he needs to be benched until he proves himself again. I’m a Trossard starting supporter!!!
I like that our team has many tall players but it’s like each time I check the height numbers people make them taller. I’m hearing Calafiori is 6’3 yet he came in at 6’2 and Havertz is out of nowhere 6’5. Nah we play too much😂😂😂
Martinelli has to adapt with the new system. He WAS fantastic before but not now. Arteta will simply tell him "change or be changed". Atm, my vote is with Trossard.
Martinelli is still world class. He only needs a good counsellor or psychologist...because of the amount of pressure he's feeling from that right hand side.
