The new toyota mr2 need a stepup in design and engine,having a new v6 with 500plus hp making it a new supercar like the acura/honda ns-x back engined car reaching out 8n the supercar league.
Maybe the v6- 3gr engine from the lexus cars can be used in the new mr2 or a new v6-4gr engine can be manufactured for the new mr2 making it a powerful car like the gtr35 or nsx,and rcf supercars.
They can make the body of the MR 2 very beautiful like the white or orange MR 2 shown in this video but the engine can be a 1.8 liter with the 6 speed sequential manual or manual transmission, I personally loved the sequential manual it was a blast to drive my 2004 MR 2 spyder had it I loved it the MR2 is not supposed to exceed 24 thousand dollars
I am not aware of any stock factory road cars that ever came with a sequential manual transmission so I’m not sure how you could have had one on a 2004 MR-2. Furthermore, while they are a good choice for a racecar or motorcycle I’m not sure I would want one in a street car.
If the "LOOKS" relate to the concepts and sells for $16,000 to 21,000 USD this will make Toyota more money in five years than anything else all while ending other small cars from other manufacturers!
