I'm a wide receiver at Butte College and i have to say I really like your technique's and i've been watching for a while now and you've helped me learn a lot thank you!!! doubt you'll read this worth a shot tho lol
I appreciate you reaching out man! Glad the content has given you value. Don’t hesitate to hit me up on IG I always respond to DMs if you have any questions
Thanks for the help in my midget football league through 6-8th grade I was destroying my competition so I always thought it was going to be that easy but once I got to 9th grade I started using some of these tips and they have helped a lot made varsity as a wideout.
Ik this may sound weird but y hank you for sharing this video I’m not a wide out but this has helped me as a safety that plays in the slot a lot. Ik what to look for routes (hips and pad level) and has helped stick to receivers more bc Ik what they want to do.
Thank you very much, I am going to be playing football as a freshman soon and this would really help me get onto the team because I am not very fast, but I am sure these route running tips will help me get onto the team for sure
Thanks for the video man! I got hands and descent speed and my route running has always been descent but this will definitely help when I hit the field!
Been wanting to play this sport for a long long time, finally got the chance. Imma perfect my craft and make these DBs look clueless thanks to these videos.
Thank you bro I’m trying to get better at football didn’t make the team this year but I am pushing for next year. This video helped a lot when I’m running routes so thanks
I'm playing running back and I'm pretty good at agility and escaping defenders, I just need to improve my route running because I barely practice it thanks for the vid
I’m in 8th grade and really want to join the football team in high school, but I’m not sure if I’m good enough and I’ve never played actual football before. I’m starting to work out more, and I’m going to practice a lot this summer
Nathan Campello have a plan for your hands and feet in the last clip on this video I talk about what you can do with your hands but having quick/sudden feet off the line of scrimmage can get you some separation but you have to do both, can’t just hand right and can’t just have fancy footwork
I’m a 5’8 145 pound receiver going into high school, I still am pretty muscular but when talking about getting off the line since I am not a huge receiver would you say that it’s more important working on feet when getting off the line or still hands is most important?
Would say feet is more important but can’t neglect arms. Using your quickness is important just because of your size but always have a plan with your hands
I’m having a really tough time remembering plays during my practice can you please explain like in simple terms a fade a post and like things like that
I was 3rd string qb on my freshman team and I got switched today to wr after practice coach told me I was going to start at wr now I’m watching this vid
Need to go 100% in every drill and you should take every single rep. Don’t sit around in the back, after a tryout you should be so tired because you went hard with every opportunity you got
@@firstdowntraining Honestly man, I'm 23 and just have a day job, but me and my boys are just going to run some 1v1's this weekend, and one of em was talking MAD trash. I wanted to brush up so I could smoke him. Your vid was great for that and taught me some extra things too!
Selwin Productions Plays I don’t have a video for that specifically but I would suggest have someone stand behind you while you are catching, when your partner throws you the ball have the guy standing behind you hit you with one of those blocking bags or something soft like a pool noodle to get used to getting hit. That’s what I do with my guys
I’m not a starting receiver and I’m going into 7th grade do you have any tips to get me a starting? I’m watching a lot of football highlights with receivers and this kinda helped just not sure if I can do all this
I would say you gotta work man. Not gonna happen overnight. All of my videos are great to learn but only just watching them will do nothing for you. You need to put the stuff into action. I have drills on this page that will help and my website can definetly help you too
Keep workin bro hope this page helps, we offer a speed training plan I’ll send the info below www.firstdowntraining.com/product-page/28-day-speed-workout-plan
Jair Harjo on a dig is the only time I’m okay with it, if you’re doing two steps you’re either slowing down before the break or not getting enough drive. The three steps are to generate power
Slipping comes from a few things- either reaching outside of your frame, turning your body too early before your feet get down or striking on your heels.
Dont be biased. Learn as much as you can. Im an eagles fan and I hate the fucking cowboys with all my guts but if I have to study film I have to so I can become better.
