Amen. Yes committing your day unto God is key. I agree. The 5 things that I do: 1. Pray* 2. I have a devotional (He walks amongst us) I close my eyes and open it and whatever page it lands on that's what I read. It doesn't have a date so it's good. I also read a plan in the Holy Bible App. Currently reading Lead Like Jesus: 21 days of leadership. You can also get your friend or sister in Christ to read a Bible plan with you. You rotate on selecting the plans. Pray before/after every session. Have a journal and take notes of what the Holy Spirit will reveal to you during your time studying the plan. This is not a substitute for reading the Bible just another way to grow in your walk and to hold each other accountable. 3. Listening to worship. I believe that it is very important what you feed your spirit. 4. I have a prayer journal. I ask people for their prayer requests and I pray for them. 5. Surrounding myself with people I can grow with. Before you said it I was typing it. Lastly, pray and commit everything to God's hands. Throughout the week, there's a Bible verse that I stand on for that specific week. God bless you. Stay blessed 🙏🏾😊

Loved, loved this! So uplifting, so inspiring and every word so true. I had to take a step back, take a very hard look at myself and reevaluate my life and got rid of all the negativity that was dragging me down and not helping me move forward in a positive way. I created a vision board and now the thoughts on that vision board are, through hard work, becoming things. When I need I need a bit of inspiration Kirk Franklin Looking For You does it for me every time even though I'm not a regular church goer. I just love how this song lifts me even on my darkest days. Keep doing what you are doing Cass, this is what our women of all ages need to hear - it's not always about material things it's a lot more than that.
