Started the dump trailer side hustle a couple months ago after watching your videos and clearing about 1200 a month so far. My day job is writing estimates for restoration and what does every estimate include? You guessed it, Dumpsters! You are the man Robert!
Robert, there's actually 3 ways of making money. As you mentioned, real estate , dividend stocks, and owning your own business. Twenty six years ago I started my own business. The first few years sucked, I couldn't save any money, expenses ate it up. After about five years I started to become profitable. I started stacking cash at the bank, my banker took notice and gave me a 75k line of credit. With the line of credit I started buying fixer uppers. Today I have 12 houses, all paid for, putting 13k a month in my bank account. Life is good, but you only get there after some years of doing the grind.
Well, that's true to a certain degree the problem though is is that one if you're the product that you offer whether it's a service or a good or a food soon as you stop selling it the money stops coming in I love the idea of starting a business leveraging time getting paid more time and then taking that money and putting it into stock or real estate that's for sure… And I know so many people that are in business that don't ever do that
Well, don't quote me and I'm not the best person on this but I think it's right around like 27 or 28 years if you've owned the property that you're no longer able to write off depreciation on it so it doesn't make a whole lot of sense to hold onto it when you can go put the money into something else and get another Cycle of depreciation from that, however it is really nice having paid off properties
