Being rich is a thing of mentality. Having a combat machine and ACTUALLY owning it is richer than having an umbrella armory, but having to pay it of still.
Man, I used to scrape by buying the cheapest crap in paintball. Now that I started airsofting, I buy the best stuff that I can (only cuz I want stuff to last and not break).
@ironmotoadv agreed. I'm all about bare bones and keeping my set up as light as possible. If it doesn't serve a function in the type of play I'm doing that day, I'll leave it out. I don't pack or buy unnecessary equipment for the cool factor.
@@yasininn76 no, what he means is that he used to get the bare minimum on paintball just to have fun playng, but he buys the fancier stuff on airsoft so he can have a good experiecne and better reliability on the field.
It kinda helps for sure, I have a 900 lumen light and a pvs14 and it doesn't completely blind the nvg but it definitely makes it harder to see and it puts you on a far more level playing field.
I like the rich airsofter who has family friendly invite only games on his family's property, with a nice field he built, breakfast and lunch and dinner included. Just bring your family and have fun. So much good times. No crazy toxic terd nuggies. Only problem is trying to eat homemade eggmc muffins while reloading my combat machine😂

@@dorian447 Also, in his videos, he puts hit markers on “hits” that didn’t actually “hit” and then blames the players for cheating when he either missed or hit them in a spot that is very easy not to feel (a dump pouch). Overall a toxic dude

I normally bring about 3 guns to play, my main gun and at least 1 backup. Sometimes 2 but they are all different types not all m4s and yes they can be loaned if there are problems.

Some guy at the first MilSim/Tarkov recreation game I went with a friend was kinda of a dick. He saw us with our starter kits (that we had bought maybe 2 weeks ago) and was like "you guys new?" And we answered yes, to what he said "yeah looks like it" with a smug face while he eyed us up and down. His squad got a lower score than ours lol

When it comes to night games, the ONLY reason I ever looked into buying affordable night vision recording equipment, was so that I could have something to film for a video lol. I never once considered purchasing these 10,000$ on up night vision products when there was stuff that worked just as good for around 200$ or so. The pretty cool thing about the Night Vision Monocular Recorder I got years ago was the fact that it could take a beating from incoming BB fire. Maining because of the thick ass lens XD
to me this catagory can fall into two sides of that coin as i used to play along side a group of three ww1 replicants that took pride in there gameplay but stillo were respectful and willing to teach new players and help the game. they took pride3 in creating the replica unifroms and replica weapons and yes each one dropped 1.5k on there gear but it was handled tastefully.

I can’t deny I was a d-ck with pyro last Friday because my M4 jammed and I was down to my last mag with my pistol so I threw 7 Enola Gaye flash 1s throughout the game 😂
I hope to be a Walking Armory someday. Mainly because now that I have a group of close friends that I play Airsoft with from time to time, I just wanna make damn sure that everything I have actually freaking works all the time lol. In addition, have extra guns and gear on hand incase one of my buddies forgets something, or their guns stops working.
before the fateful day when my car got stolen the night before a big event (and i lost over 2000.00 worth of airsoft gear, i used to be the guy that would bring 2-3 extra low end budget rifles and side arms, along with eye pro and mask and a basic cross draw vest so i could bring friend that were interested in playing but never had the income to purchase for themselves.
Same here I am working towards the walking armory player using budget companies and second hand purchases. Its nice being able to field 3-6 people with at least 1 gun.
I'm there already as my personal collection grew to a point where I could easily equip a couple friends with a rifle, mags, safety glasses and LBE. I've even bought a spare set of nods as most my friends can't afford any that I just "rent" out to them for a small fee (usually site entrance fee)
Not a rich guy by any standard, but I would drop money in a heartbeat if I could get a Thermal on a reliable LMG and just spam corner peeks. Much love Scott, great video as always 👍
Btw for those that aren’t rich but want a thermal you can buy flear branded thermal scanners that need to be held in one hand first 300$, you can then take a pistol and just spam people you see in your thermal

Used to be the arsenal kind of guy years back. Became too much of a PITA to pack up stuff to go and come back though. So, I'm the arsenal kind of guy on the field. At local games on BLM and forestry land we play on, no one packs extra ammo to the field in bags. They just load their mags up and go. Halfway through games they are out of ammo. So, I whip out my speed loader and bag of bb's and help them out. Great tip, use Ziploc brand freezer bags to carry extra ammo to the field. I personally find those bags last longer and if you are using bio bb's, it will help them last longer by keeping moisture out
Forgot to mention, and cat edit it for whatever reason. Thanks Google. Use the quart size freezer bags, not gallon. I mean, you could, but it's just extra weight. Just fill it half way and you are good
The pyro part is spot-on. I’ve seen plenty of event footage from milsims with CQB areas where people frag the same room over and over again. I’ve thrown some at outdoor games, but I don’t see why people throw $9-$14 grenades in THE SAME ROOM after 4 other teammates did the same thing. This isn’t a “get rid of your grenades, fast” moment!

played a local night skirmish at my home field and had the EXACT kind of guys who just show up with nods to ruin everyone else night, unfortunately I was on their team and had to listen to them cry about how I was "UsInG ToO mUcH wHiTe LiGhT" as if I'm just gonna go to my local field, pay the entry to play and then sit in a corner in the dark and let the only 4 people on my team with nods go play airsoft. Why even bother using a few thousand dollar nod setup to get absolutely destroyed by literally anyone with a flashlight.
I can confirm the grenade spammer is accurate. 1 guy at my field threw like 3 grenades into the same room trying to get me and 2 of my mates out. 1 landed next to me but i kicked it back.
11:05 saw one of these guys today and he was one of the nicest people ever lol. He just gave out co2 like it was candy. He took up two tables consisting of a full sized barret 50cal, minigun, hpa m4, hpa pistol, a massive box of who knows what, and some more pistols and aegs.
i wouldn't consider myself rich, but I totally fall under the arsenal airsofter. I normally bring like 10 guns to a game and tech on peoples gun while I'm there.

you forget 1 type: The GBBR Collector that also plays: Im not talking about "expensive spare parts that you need to buy over and over again" since I never really had issues with my GBBRs... (I even had less problems with GBBRs than with AEGs). Im talking about buying a new set of mags for a ton of money everytime you get a new modell with proprietary magazines. if you own mags that are +$1000 worth.... it seems you are a collector + gbbr player

I've had an FE V2 in a well used CA M4 since 2015. Last year I had it installed in another well used M4 made by TM. Also last year, I finally had a DMR, because I'm old (55 now), set up using a Kythera. I love the hpa system. But, I had to save my pennies to buy my gear. I cap the hpa M4 at 20-25 rps. Maybe because I'm older and my mindset is different, but I feel this sport grows better with players respecting the game and its participants. The few who break the rules and the ones trying TOO HARD to be Black Ops wannabes make the experience less enjoyable for veteran players and could deter new players from coming back. I make sure my play is within the rules and try to help anyone that needs it. To me, someone that uses any gear can be a great player. High end equipment doesn't mean you'll be great. Just means a BB can hit you from a newbie player to a veteran player. Spend $5k in gear, and you can be eliminated by a rental. Lol. That's life. Let's all enjoy our sport, let's advance it by being mentors to new players, and most of all, don't be that guy that everyone hates.

While I'm certainly not rich...yet I follow the lender philosophy with my humble collection. If you're ever out at SC Village and see a dude with a larp sword on his back with blue dye gear more than likely I have a spare AEG with batteries you can use, if you leave something as collateral.

Am guilty of the car and traveling armory one. Once was in a muddy field with a Viper at Ft Hood, or at Conquest of Avalon in a 911 with the passenger seat removed to make room for all the guns and gear. Fun times.
I want to be the one that has a backup gun for every situation to replace my backup replacing my back up. I’m talking M-4s, LA-85s, MG-42s, Interventions, G-36Cs, even multiple mini tanks. Ok, Mabey not the tank. But you get the idea!!
Definitely a Number 5 for me xD..... I recently managed to fit an unmodified Polarstar jack into a Tokyo Marui Scorpion Mod-M :) runs like a dream, weighs next to nothing, perfect for CQB. But I am also a bit of Number 2 so thats good I guess :)
I think the weekend skirmish night vision one was really funny because i have a pvs 14 i use to play any night game, but i use regular .25g bbs im my aeg and normslly play shirtless, fun is fun, and damn its fun, also i let other kids use my monocular a lot because they think its mind blowing and i love their reactions to analog night vision

I am not a rich airsofter, but an airsofter that likes nice equipment. My first gbb pistol was a 200 dollar pistol, not because I have abundant cash, I just really wanted a nice piece to start with gbb airsoft with.
I saw a comment saying being rich is a mentality, and I totally agree. I'm 25 and have been homeless a couple of times myself. I've made it out of that and live in my own place. It may only be a 1 bedroom apartment, but it's not a park bench. After years of wanting to go and not having the funds to get a proper set up, I finally bought my first airsoft gun, gloves, and mask yesterday before hitting bing field in alton, illinois and despite my rather cheap setup, I feel more "rich" in a sense than I ever have before, and had an amazing time at event day and will 110% go back. Did I look out of place with 2 layers of normal long sleeve shirts on? Yes. Am I fat and out of shape. Yea, definitely, lol. But I had the best time I've had in a long time. Everyone's gotta start somewhere, and some hit rock bottom before they hit the top. Everyone is different and learns/progresses in different ways. (My setup was a Falken full face mask and visor, and a CYMA CM050 AK) Dropped less than $500 for this event day and had an amazing time.
I admit I’m the grenade guy. Decided I’ll go easy some time ago because I don’t want new people get discouraged from playing and now I mostly buy smokes for outdoor games, use that nstead of just throwing half a dozen explosives to decrease the engagement distance.
