Here in Germany there are lots of "first responders" that you see. Just in our group we've got a firefighter and 2 paramedics (me included). You can almost every time find about 5-10 other medics/firefighters and you can identify most of them by just looking for ppl with Haix boots 😂 And i've seen quite a few police officers there too.

Same here! I’m the high energy and the first responder and it’s nice to have that paramedic patch on my plate carrier Even if it’s little stuff like a kiddo getting sprayed or a sprained ankle It’s nice to be able to help out where I can :)

@@dodoman6372 absolutely... A few months back an injury destroyed an awesome infil i was conducting. I had gone around the enemy base, waded through tall grass while basically high crawling slowly, moved into shorter grass (barely a 50cms tall) and low crawled slowly into position, maybe 20m from the center of the base and basically inside the perimeter. I could see the 4 enemy guards all looking in the opposite direction as no one attacked from the grass (everyone attacked from the road on the other side) Then, as i literally took aim ... *call sign* *call sign* this is *organization*, we have a guy that got injured pretty badly, please rush, he's at *gives location* I literally spring up, sling the rifle and the enemies with a surprised face look at me as i sprinted and realized something was up. About 400m later i find the guy. A 55 year old player fell and dislocated his (already injured) shoulder. I gave some first aid, imovilized the injury so he didnt keep injuring it and made a sling for his arm. Sadly, only 40 minutes remaining for the op so we packed and left. The guy ended up having surgery (which he already needed) and made a full recovery and still plays

@@richtyty9416 gotta have a REALLY good trigger response to shoot that fast, or have the fingers of a god. I have used a couple of pistols, rifles and carbines, and by far the best trigger i have tried was the one on my Gamo G Magnum Jungle, a 4.5mm 25 Jule hunting carbine with a two stage adjustable trigger, wich means that you can setup pull and reset lenght. Since it's single shot the reset didn't matter much, but you know how they always talk about "hair trigger pull" with firearms? After going bonkers with the tunning, i found out why it's called that, when the pull response is maxed, the milisecond you scrape the trigger the thing is going off, it actually scared me and i tuned it back inmediately because it was scary as shit to fire accidentally, i ended up leaving some room to rest the finger but still fairly tight because i shared it with friends and i didn't want any stupid stuff happening. Sorry for the huge rant btw

@@Ferrari255GTO it fine. There's so many hobbies I want to get into. Airsoft being one of them. The main problem is finding the options and finding the time. I'm also worried that I'll play for a few weeks then just give up. But I will say that I can have a pretty fast trigger finger at times thanks to Cookie Clicker and other FPSes.

In terms of battle buddy moments I will never forget the time my buddy and I went over to an enemy base at 3:30 am and gave them an explosive wake up call, we detonated 6 grenades around the perimeter of their base and just booked it, ducking down in the brush waiting for them to pass so we could sneak back to base was so intense and the fact that we only had a pistol and an mp5 with one mag just made it even more so, that’s something I will never forget

I definitely was a Memesofter this last weekend at Gamepod for their Star Wars game. Staring down a sith while everyone runs away only to point my MGL fully loaded with shower shells in their general direction only to be rewarded with a shower of bbs. It didn't hurt that I was able to yell out "PARRY THIS YOU FILTHY CASUAL" and after losing all my limbs in a lightsaber battle I got to yell out "We'll call it a draw, GET BACK HERE, ILL KNAW YOUR LEGS OFF!"

Sidenote: Make room in your kit for a medic bag, not alot of stuff, just stuff like a torniquet, gauze, band aids and most importantly peroxide and smelling salts for cleaning a wound or if someone passes out. Worst comes to worst it might get used on you and that's a good thing. Stay safe friends

Funny story here regarding the "Memesofter;" My local field is Escue Airsoft in South Carolina. My most recent skirmish event was notable for a couple of reasons, one being that it was held in celebration of Escue going for 15 years strong. But the other notable piece in this puzzle? This one guy. He had a minimalist kit, a pretty good M4 build, and not much else to report back on. Oh, wait, I almost forgot. He carried a frying pan! Not as a melee weapon, but basically taking advantage of a field rule that if your weapon is hit, it doesn't actually count as a hit. So naturally, he decided to use this frying pan to DEFLECT incoming fire. Dude left that day a legend. I, too, engage in memesoft material, like being semi-well known for bringing a lightsaber to games. Just a lot of fun even if I hardly have a chance to actually use it. Moral of the story? If y'all are gonna be anyone on this list, the Memesofter is probably the most fun you'll ever have.

I'm definitely gentleman player first, but I also try to help kids and newbies out. For some reason, kids always come to me with questions so I try to answer as best I can. I introduce myself when I sit next to a family of new players in the staging area and that's when they usually ask me a bunch of questions. I've also given my sidearm to players on the field whose guns go down and have even offered to let a kid use my backup rifle when theirs died so they won't have to go home or sit and wait all day. I notice kids and newbies love to sit in the back and shoot at nothing so sometimes during a game, I show them safe paths through a field and good corners to watch. I actually could care less about scoring kills if it means that my whole team is doing well. The less work I have to do, the better. Finally, I believe that the best way to get a team to start working together and having fun is by being a good example, so if nobody is pushing the objective or communicating, go run up there and show your team how it's done.

I would like to add one category of player: The Volunteer: At my field we have dudes who literally go at any possible second to go and fix it up, move barriers and clean up. Our field is just a 2 acre of Bureau of Land Management(BLM) forest that we get to play on. The volunteers who go out and do all they possible can to make it playable and improve it are the real chad as they have also done other great things like invest in loaner guns for new folks, host raffles with their own money or even make stuff just for the sake of giving them out like 3d printed trinkets or patches.

First time I went airsofting, A guy came up to me at the end of one of the games. Told me that at one point my head was poking out from cover very slightly, and that he made the choice to not take advantage of that and didn't take the shot. Gave me some advice afterwards as well. He was definitely part of the genuine nice guy crowd. Still remember it vividly to this day. Former GBB player here. I ran a GHK M4 for about 2 years. In the later stages of its use it was heavily modified for recoil and used CO2. It was loud, it was mean, and it got lots of looks. People used to come up and tell me they’d jump a bit when they heard it nearby because it was menacing. While I miss using it because I’m mostly an indoor player it was outclassed by my shortie aeg so I sold it to someone else so they could have their own fun. I also like to believe I’m the gentlemen. Nothing feels worse than getting hit in the head, ears, groin, etc so when I have an opportunity to land the hit in an area that won’t hurt I try to do that. If I don’t but I can see or hear the cursing or Yelp of the other player I usually try to call out and see if they are good (hand shots man, they suck).

Ok, personally I think I'm both a battle buddy and a crack head energy type. But the type of airsoft players I love seeing (as a regular player and someone who knows one myself) are the parent airsofters. Especially in the UK where we need a defence for a normal looking RIF. Being able to play with your parent is a different experience and also it's a way to bond. But down sides are the younger kids, personally I'd rather keep them with their parent even if it means teams are slightly unbalanced. They are young so having a parental figure near them makes them behave better, but sometimes these kids also do slay and the parent is just there. TLDR shout out to the parents who airsoft with your kids, your the real MVPs

I took my son airsofting for his first time a couple of weeks ago (11th birthday) I couldn't keep up with him. So many compliments on his attitude and gameplay, even had people looking for him to help them! It is such a different experience having your kid there but the marshals ,other players, and my friends were always keeping an eye on him so I knew he was safe. The best part was the birthday bus. Essentially its a double decker and all of the people who have birthdays around the event go up into the top, everyone else then full autos into the bus. Another player made a point of standing in front of my son to make sure he didn't take too many ricochets. To me one that should be on the list is the player who looks after kids. It is kind of in there already but it makes us parents airsofting feel so much better knowing those people are out there.

Local indoor CQB site has a "chaos" game (3 people are given bombs, if you have a bomb by the end of the game you lose. Teaming isn't allowed and you pretty much have to shoot everyone). Last time I did a chaos game, I spent the whole game running around with a shotgun and shooting anything that moved. After a while, refs started calling out my position, which made the game even more fun because it became sort of like a last stand/escape.

Last match we played a guy on my team noticed me struggling with my spring gun to stay competitive. When we were leaving he came up to me and handed me a gun bag and said he’s getting some new gear. He gave me a AEG AUG and a CO2 Pistol told me to keep it and to continue coming b to the games. Being a 13 Year old kid at his first official game it’s what kept me coming back. Hi Scott. So I'm the GBBR player, to me it's the most enjoybale way to play the game and people around me also enjoy my gun. Although it can als startle people. For ex the first time I took my WE Apache (MP5) to a game I met this guy, he was in my team, we had to hold a building from two windows next to each other. He knew I was gonna fire still he got scared so much from my first shot he almost fell, it was pretty funny. I love the meme players too, they always make sure people have a good laugh, that's why we go to the game, to have a good time. If my team wins, that's just the cherry on top.

#2 hits home for me. My local fields have a lot of ex and current military players, and even one swat team member (cough cough gunfather milsim.) My buddy recently dislocated his knee, and they all immediately treated him and insured he got to the emergency room safely. It was a sight to see for sure.

I'm most of these people. Except for the gas blow back squad. I would love to run one but there out of my price range. And the ROF techs are something else man. I wish I had that kind of knowledge to be able to build AEGs to have incredible ROF. I got a few certifications in the medical field. I'm certified in, Stop the bleed, CPR, and general first aid. Last week I had gotten to the field and me and my buddy were getting ready while a game was going on and a kid dislocated his knee cap by hitting it on a log. I was able to help a little. Thankfully my field has a lot of military vets as well as medical professionals. I'll be going to school this August to get my EMT certification.

I miss my battle buddies. My team, White Jade, used to run op after op together as well as just go out and have fun. We trained together at private skirmishes, hung out together and played games, went out to eat together. When ops came around, everyone came over to my house the night before. We loaded our magazines, checked out gear, did a weapons test in the back yard, made sure batteries were charged. After all that, we just hung out, ate pizza, and relaxed before we had to get up super early to drive hours out to the game field. I miss those days.

I'm the "nice guy" in my team who shoots the least and make sure my guns are accurate so that it only needs 1 shot to get to where I was pointing, and melee if any possibilty; in addition, I understand how difficult it is when I just started airsoft years ago, so I'm more than willing to teach new guys and bring them into this exciting community. That should be the combination of "The Gentleman", "Noob tutor" and "Battle buddies" in the video I think, which I think all these actions mentioned in your videos (and the previous ones) should be acted so that we keep the community healthy and clean.

I love being the high energy player, There is something so satisfying about sprinting past teammates to go push the other team. It's also fun when I see newer players, because it makes them more confident when they see me going first. I take the hits, so they can experience the part of airsoft I love.

I use to play back in the day. I started again for the first time in about 10 years. Literally 2 minutes or less into the first game a guy domed me and literally shattered my front tooth. I realized the group I started playing with was more than a privilege to get to learn the game. Back then no one would’ve ever shot that close. Especially a face shot, long story short I’ve been enjoying your videos about types of players and it’s definitely underrated to be a kind and courteous player. Also protect your mouth. It made for an expensive game, I’m glad it was me and not one of the really young players

I've always been intrigued by airsoft as a hobby, thinking about all the different cool and fun things one could do, but then I sit back and think about it. Generally, you mostly see very late teens and adults playing it. Makes sense given how it's based around guns and all that, but then I go looking for some cool/nice airsoft guns and then realize that you only see late teens and adults possibly for a different reason. A bog-standard airsoft version of almost any gun is going to be shockingly close to the price of _the actual thing,_ or at least close enough to give your wallet a stroke. Then there's the fact that you don't only need a gun to play, but a full kit at that, including protective gear, a chest carrier for all the shit you'll be lugging around, most likely a backup pistol, a holster if you _do_ get the pistol, spare mags, lubricant oil, a budget set aside for spare parts/gear (because something is gonna break eventually), and probably a bunch more that I'm missing. So in other words, you'd probably end up paying a similar price to buying an _actual_ gun while really only owning an edgier paintball gun. I understand they're not the same thing, but it does seem like a bit of an expensive hobby considering how small the jump is to owning an actual firearm. I dunno, maybe it's a lot less of a deal than I think, but it feels like it's not very friendly to those who haven't started but are curious.
@smol_hornet613
@smol_hornet613 Год назад
Personally, I wouldn't make the comparison. The main reason to own an airsoft gun is to play airsoft, so if you want to play airsoft then a real gun wouldn't be on the table to start. At any rate, I think you're thinking too hard on what you need to get into the hobby. For a milsim, you're right - you really will need all that stuff just to get your foot in the door. And, off the top of my head, it will cost at least around ~600 bucks if you don't have any fitting gear lying around at home. And that's if you're fine with cheaping in on your gun just a little bit. But, for a regular field? You really don't need to go very far. I'm running a Tokyo Marui Desert Eagle gas blowback pistol that I got like 5 years before starting just for plinking cans in my dad's mechanic shop, plus 2 extra mags, netting me 81 shots before I have to hunker down for a hot minute and bring out the green gas and speed-loader. For the record, this gun is about 50 dollars more than you need for something decently reliable. And if you buy an AEG, you probably don't even need to bother with extra mags at first. So, shave off about 80 dollars from this if you're fine with a standard M4. For my outfit, I wear black hiking pants with all the pockets I need, a dark green hoodie with none of the pockets I need, and a pair of mildly protective gloves I found at home. On my face there's a mesh mask and some goggles, which went for ~30$. Throw on a backpack to keep my green gas, water, bbs and other stuff on me, and that is literally all I run around with in-game. All in all, excluding all the everyday stuff I already had available, this came in at around 350$. Which, again, is a bit more than you really need to spend. My advice is this: If you want to start airsoft, get yourself one gun (not a primary *and* secondary, just the one) that's just good enough that it probably won't break down on you for a good while, then spend a decently generous sum on your face-protection in particular. Better the eye pro, less the fog. Get enough bbs to last a handful games, then drag out literally whatever from your wardrobe that won't fall apart from heavy outdoor use, and you're done. These types of load-outs are completely fine, you see them all the time. You'll hardly be carrying your team, and you will feel the disadvantages of running something like this. But hey, you're a beginner. Why worry about winning if you've just started the game? tl;dr: As with any hobby, just buy the bare minimum that won't immediately break and join in. Save the rest for if you like it. And, as always. Don't cheap out on eye pro.

Also for the medical stuff I am not professionally trained but I have used my knowledge to help others on the field before (nothing extravagant, thankfully never seen anything that needs that) but everyone was always so thankful. Honestly love my local community with it.

The first time I played AS, I was in the UK and there was a bunch of people role playing as WW2 sterotypes. Germans yelling slurs in german, us soldiers screaming when they get hit, Russians with PPSHs shooting from the hip and throwing fake molotovs. It was an absolute blast. Those guys made me fall in love with the game by the end of the first match.

I'm an unlimited energy player. My favourite thing is enjoying seeing others get a passion especially newer players and will often let others use my replica or grenades to help them feel more immersed as some newer players feel like their lack of gear makes them worse players when I've seen some newbies destroy a field because of the good chemistry.

Of the 7 types here, I’m definitely number 4. I never try to stay in the same piece of cover for longer than 30 seconds. The only way you keep the pace of the game moving and the kill feed rolling is by pushing. It’s really fun and exciting, and when the day is over you go home and just crash on your bed and sleep. One of the best ways to play for sure

GBB player here! He's not wrong, its a whole different pain in the ass keeping them tip top shape, but man, well worth it! I always get loads of questions from the AEG players, and they love it when I let them have a go at it. Might have converted a few, who knows. But the best is bumping into other GBB players, its awesome seeing what people have done to their setups, and sometimes get advice ( or give advice) on performance/upgrades etc. my wallet hates it tho, so there is that :P
