Thank you for including Lovebites one of well over a dozen all female bands or female led bands that come out of Japan like Unlucky Morpheus, East of Eden, Asterism,Band Maid,Nemophila,Aldious,Mary's Blood, Bridear,Fates Gear, Show-Ya, Hanabie, Hades, and Gacharic Spin also head over to K- Rock music side of things a band from South Korea named Rolling Quartz check out the song Fearless.
The special thing about Lovebites is the new bass player, Fami. Her energy has inspired the other band members, and also she enjoys learning from their experience because it's her first real (touring) band that she has joined. They are different from before.
Thank you for including The Warning on this list, as an old rocker/metalhead myself, I find The Warning to be a breath of fresh air, with a huge dose of nostalgia as well, it is awesome seeing people so young embracing Rock and Roll!
Yes I totally agree, these girls bring something new to the table and they are extremely skilled musicians. Thanks for watching, there is more female stuff here in case you are interested, my best female fronted bands in 2023 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-QyUjZEaIwCU.html
Agree. They are the only Band to watch for me. I found exactly what I needed and wanted after my wife passed on in Feb. 2020 I was alone searching for comfort and a few days after her passing I found The Warning, and they fulfilled my every need. I watch them 30 to 40 times a day and it never grows tiresome. Furthermore, I watch every reaction from reactors of them, plus all of their interviews. I will probably never be able to meet them, but I am at peace with it.
@@EdwardMohan-k5w So Melody sent you over, huh. Typical of her. I will never listen to them as, she is so jealous that she has made remarks about how much better they are then The Warning. The Warning has never put any band down. They also never replied to Melody's comments about them
They truly are but there are also a lot of other really cool female artists out there nowadays, I made this video here about my top 5 Female led albums of 2023 that could be interesting to you ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-QyUjZEaIwCU.html
One way to describe The Warning? Timeless While inspired by classic rock, punk, trash, heavy, prog, grunge etc. Like you mentioned in your video, it's hard to pinpoint them into a genre or box. One can hear the influences but yet they still have their own original sound. Many bands sound like the music they were influenced by, at times some sound like cover bands, or artists trying to find their own identity. Thank you for including The Warning, rock on!
Yes I can surely, now that I read up on them, hear what influenced them in their songs but in a way that I don't feel they are copying anything but carving out their own thing. Thanks for watching and maybe check this video here about my top 5 Female led albums of 2023 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-QyUjZEaIwCU.html
The Warning’s sound is interesting in that the melodies are heavily pop influenced but the instrumentation is pretty heavy, more on the metal side. The songs are pretty diverse, and they are not afraid to annoy some fans by changing things up.
Lovebites and The Warning. YES!! Thank you sir, for pointing them out. I discovered those two bands accidentally on RU-vid in 2023 and they deserve way more exposure for sure. Lovebites is now without a doubt in my top 5 favorite bands ever. Being a thrash metal buff and blues fan, that tells a lot.

@@metalandrockzone yeah Futurum (never been there) seems just 400 people capacity, the smallest venue by far for all the tour (anything else I checked was 800 or more). Maybe it would have some unique magic to the gig, something to brag in few years, but they do deserve larger :)
The warning is undoubtedly a band on the rise, with almost 200 performances in the last two years in 15 countries, and recording their fourth studio album, they are playing better and better.
Good to see you've included The Warning here. Out of all these acts here,The Warning will be the band at the forefront and will achieve the greatest success - watch this space

Saw The Warning live in Houston, they are by far an amazing band and the live performance is breathtaking. They are excellent musicians, write thier own songs, not just show ponies. On RU-vid, check the videos of them live at the CDMX Teatro.... grab a beverage, buckle your seatbelt, turn it up and hold on!! whew.
@@michaelentrekin4020 Yup the teatro Metropolitan CDMX concert is an instant classic! they rocked the place!! And now they will be at the Wacken festival this year! couln't be happier for them.
The Warning rules. I saw them in 2020 and even gave Dani a hug. Lovebites kicks ass. Just possibly the best band in metal right now. Hellripper is a good time all around and I just heard about Asinhell. Good list.

I'd say that The Warning are mainly hard rock, but they like to experiment as well. Just compare 'Queen of the Murder Scene' to 'Evolve' to 'More' to 'P.SY.C.H.O.T.I.C". And, not to mention some of the best ballads that you're ever going to hear.
The Warning is awesome, is what they are. Classic rock, with some songs going towards metal, grunge, punk, new wave, and other genres. Almost all have deep lyrics, and they have a concept album to their name, released when they were all teenagers.
For sure a standout band, there is just so much great stuff happening in Female Fronted bands, you can see my video here about the 5 best female albums of 2023 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-QyUjZEaIwCU.html
The Warning is really a whirlwind of fresh air in what we would just call hard rock. They are incredibly talented as musicians and songwriters, they've honed their craft for over 10 years now and they are about to break out big time. Great choice.
Yes it is so nice to see when dedication pays off. I feel often that people think that success is instant and give up too soon. These girls luckily kept going. Thanks for watching.

Thanks for including The Warning! I’m definitely a follower of them and plan on seeing them in 2024! I delegate most of their music to rock/hard rock, although they have great ballads and a couple of funky tunes also!! 😊⚡️
So The Warning is...The Warning. That is their box. Others will come along and be compared to them. Not a bad song to be found. One great earworm after another.

I haven’t been as excited by a band I’ve discovered in 10 years as I have with the Warning. They are really turning into something. I’m 48 and grew up listening to Metallica etc, I already have my ticket for one of their shows in the Uk. And I’m going with my 18 year old daughter who likes them too. These girls are going to be massive. Just watch their performances at the VMAs recently.. epic.

I would add Plush to the list. Their debut album came out in 22 and the second album is about to be released. They did a few shows opening for The Warning. Really talented band and Moriah Formica is a powerhouse lead singer.
I'm an American and I started listening to rock and what would become metal back in the late 60's. Lovebites and some of the other all-female bands from Japan are among the best I've ever heard. Lovebites, Nemophila, Band-Maid, and Hanabie., among others, are bands everyone needs to check out.

Sí, amigo, The Warning es The Warning. The Warning nos une.
The Warning fan here. These girls ARE AMAZING! It's the norm to say that a good band sounds good after hearing an album & that they have good songs. This band is fantastic live and you can show up early or late because EVERY SONG BELONGS IN A MOVIE!
I have followed The Warning since they posted that cover of Sandman. The impressive thing about them is they established their playing ability with covers but have developed into DAMN good song writers and are now known for their original music not the covers. Have followed Lovebites for over 5 years and they are absolute monster musicians and performers.
Probably the next big thing for sure! Thanks for watching and you might be interested in this video here about my top 5 Female led albums of 2023 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-QyUjZEaIwCU.html
I think we struggle to place The Warning in a box because of their varied musical influences. I want to say "Mod-Rock". Modern rock has influences from the past and incorporates sounds, images, and feelings of today.
@@hardknox1917 i got em right after my other two. Mayu's vocals, the twin 7 stringers, the rhythm section, mmmm good. But, songwriting not comparable yet.
I would classify The Warning as The Warning, as they are quite unique, but if I had to describe them using musical styles, I would say that they are classic hard rock with a modern twist.
lovebites is the best female heavy metal band in all of history, there is no band even to make comparison. lovebites' live performance is epic, they make history every time they go on stage

The Warning will be the next 'Big Band' of this generation. They play multiple genres and are best classified as 'Hard Rock'. They were invited to cover Enter Sandman for Metallica's Black List album. They knocked it out of the park! The best is yet to come. Thanks also for including Love Bites.
Yes The Warning will be huge. And hopefully they will inspire loads of others to play rock and metal and we have a new wave of big bands coming our way. The drummer of Warning is very skilled, I could see some Portnoy influence in many fills here and there, she can play and sing at the same time things that absolutely blows my mind (for example, the intro of the second chorus of "disciple", crazy!). Bassist and guitar player are great musicians as well, the influence of Muse in their playing is quite evident. Their vocal harmonies are awesome. The band cohesion in their live performances is better than bands that are twice their age. They already released a concept album when they were around 13-17, the lyrics are kinda darkish, not banal for their age, and their skills are improving by the day. You can feel the extreme dedication and genuine passion, if the ramp of improvement keeps going up like now, in my opinion they are going to be among the greatest one day.
Yes the drummer was somehow what I noticed first, she just nails it. But I also notice that they each get to shine so in some way like when I listen and watch Muse I always get the feeling that each instrument has enough space and gets to have its own role and life in each song. I am very impressed with this band and I think this can be one of few bands I see out there now that can become a stadium band in the future. Thanks for watching.
A lot of my recent favorite bands are from Japan like Band-Maid, Lovebites, Nemophila, Hanabie, Asterism, Trident, Aldious, Bridear, Gacharic Spin, Jiluka, Maximum The Hormone, Otoboke Beaver, Crystal Lake, and many more I can’t remember. Band-Maid and The Warning are two of my favorites. Also Rolling Quartz and DIH from South Korea.
@@metalandrockzone From that list, I recommend Rolling Quartz. They are a bit like the go-to rock band for K-pop fans who don't listen to much rock and they rely heavily on looks for promotion (well, they're Korean after all), but boy are they a great live band, forged in the alternative clubs of Seoul where they played their asses off for years. They play a sort of pop-punk rock with some heavier elements. The singer, Jayoung, has a great voice, and their concerts are a real party. They are touring Europe end of January / beginning of February, I'm going to see them here in Berlin on Feb 1.
I saw Jelusick with Whitesnake in 2022, he was brilliant, one of the best singers in Rock these days. Thanks for watching. Ps. Add another vote for The Warning. I found them last year and have been absolutely stuck on them ever since. I'm 58 years old and it's been far too long since I've heard a band that excites me and makes me feel. The Warning does that in spades. The first song I heard from them was "Choke". When Dany sings the first verse and gives the camera "that look"...I was done. I knew I was in for a ride, and holy crap did these women deliver. I missed my opportunity to see them last year but 2024 will be different. I don't care if I have to travel hundreds or even thousands of miles to do it, I'm going to see them play live. Thanks for showcasing this very important band that deserves more attention.

LOVEBITES are doing their first ever world tour this year. I hope this is a break out year for them. Their elite musicianship deserves a wider fan base than they already have.
LOVEBITES is the best power metal band in existence because they don't just play power metal - they do a lot of thrash metal too, and sound heavier than most power metal bands. @@hardknox1917 Even when ignoring Lovebites, there are many Japanese metal bands better than Nemophila. Galneryus, Ningen Isu, Sigh, Intestine Baalism ... Nemophila have a long way to go still.

Congratulations on picking Lovebites and the Warning.. The great female rockers of the 70s and 80s never got the glory they deserved, and I'm just hoping it's different this time. Yes they are pretty good I must admit, thanks for watching and you might be interested in this video here about my top 5 Female led albums of 2023, there are bands there oyu might like as well ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-QyUjZEaIwCU.html
Got tickets for both Lovebites shows in Spain, so excited to finally have the chance to see them Live!! 🤘 The Judgement Day album release was fantastic, the album had my attention all year!! 🔥
funny thing, i didnt hear a single mention of the Japanese Hard Rock group of 5 ladies called "Band-Maid", dont let the name fool you (like the name Lovebites did), they are the best rock band in the business right now, they have 10 years of time in the business, still all original line up and they are all top shelf with their instruments, they will blow dirty honey out of the water, they opened for GnR when they were in Tokyo, and celebrated their 10 year anniversay by playing the Yokohama arena, they have 6 or 7 albums out and 100+ music videos both studio and live and like Lovebites they wear dresses (Maid outfits), so i would suggest if you dont want to get caught out late again (well i guess that ship has already sailed) but you should dig into them and find out for yourself
yes I have lost count on how many have mentioned them so they are on my ever growing list of things to check out. Just such an interesting thing this rise of metal and rock in Japan, wonder what has really caused that. Thanks for watching.

The Warning is a very good choice, thank you for including them in your video, they are a hard working band with amazing talent, and amazing songs, and they are well on their way to being BIG!! 👍⚡️⚡️⚡️👍
Yes they will be huge I think, thanks for watching Ps. if you are into Judas Priest then I just put out a new video about Defenders of the Faith as it has a 40th anniversary now ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-7RJPmZnIwsQ.html
Looking through the comments. The Warning Army is a fan base unlike any other. We support this band and show up. The Warning is bringing back rock. One fan at a time 👍
Yes The Warning has already an Army out there, amazing stuff. Thanks for watching Ps. You might want to check out my new video about 5 bands that I think might become big in 2024 (PART 2) ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-MiEzRbYeU-U.html
Yes I am even considering trying to get an interview with them when they come here. And the venue they play at is small so after 20 years when they are filling stadiums I can tell everyone "I saw The Warning" in a small club in Prague
Lovebites reached the top 10 of the album charts in Japan. The rest of the world is just a little behind. The Warning: Ale was born in December and therefore just turned 19. Dany turns 24 at the end of January. I called the three post grunge because of the lyrics. In any case, they straddle the line from hard rock to metal, sometimes more of one, sometimes more of the other. Metalica describes it quite well too. The fact that they just became famous with a Metalica song says a lot.
Yes I get the grunge part for sure, they really mix their influences quite well I must say. Thanks for watching and you might be interested in this video here about my top 5 Female led albums of 2023 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-QyUjZEaIwCU.html
I have been into Rock for over 50 years and felt for some time that it had almost died and then I discovered Halestorm and The Pretty Reckless and now latterly The Warning. It is hard to categorise them but I'll call them Rock but with other outside influences from Metal, Grunge, Punk. They are one of those rare bands that are better live than in the studio, with the energy they bring. Saw them supporting Muse last year in Huddersfield, England and now have my ticket for their show in Glasgow on April 23rd. Looking forward to a full live set.
Yes I share that, I felt for a while that nothing new was coming our way but I am now seeing that change and what I like with The Warning for example is how original they are and that is a fresh breath of air. Thanks for watching and Go Terriers! Ps. if you are into Judas Priest then I just put out a new video about Defenders of the Faith as it has a 40th anniversary now ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-7RJPmZnIwsQ.html
I'm classic rock guy. Saw Dirty Honey 2 months ago in a rock club setting, a couple thousand people. Third row standing. Honestly one of the best concerts I've been to in a super long time.
Thats good to hear, seeing them here in 2 months or so and really looking forward. Venue not that big though but on the other hand that will probably just drive up the atmo. Thanks for watching.
@hardknox1917 It's funny, I never see Nemophila on any best band or best album list (Like this one) I wonder why?.. Maybe they're not as good as you imagine they are. What I see is an overrated band that does tons of random, lame covers and when it comes to their own music, most of it is written by their producer and to tell you the truth, it's all over the place. I guess that's why they came up with a new genre "Fluffy Metal" to call their music. Now what sounds more ridiculous Power Metal or Fluffy Metal?. Speaking of Power Metal, if you think Lovebites only plays Power Metal, you obviously never listened to them.
@@guitarzen5999 take the most metal hard song you think from Lovebites then go listen to slaughter to prevail and you will see they make Lovebites sound like K-pop. Power metal is estrogen music . 🤡
@@hardknox1917 Nemophila need to improve their songwriting first. Also their musicianship is far behind Lovebites. And they release way too many covers.
Yes there seems to be a good grass root in Rock & Metal music now. Thanks for watching. Ps. if you are into Judas Priest then I just put out a new video about Defenders of the Faith as it has a 40th anniversary now ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-7RJPmZnIwsQ.html
You mentioned lovebites. Have you checked out Band-Maid? One of the most talented groups of musicians going. I recommend their songs Play or Domination the live versions
@@metalandrockzoneThey are not mostly metal but they know how to go very well when they want to. BAND MAID has revived my lost faith in music after too many years of boredom. Check out their latest single Shambles to realize how good those girls are. 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Yes and The Warning seems to have grunge, classic rock and some other elements mixed in. Maybe they are just starting a new genre! Thanks for watching.
I've seen The Warning twice so far. I saw them in 2019 in NYC at Mercury Lounge and again in Philly in 2023 at Theatre of Living Arts. I've been following them since before they released the album Queen of the Murder Scene.
I just bought tickets to see them here in Prague in April, the gig was sold out but they moved to a bigger venue just this morning so I am in! Will be amazing
This will be Lovebites' year as they're embarking on a world tour this year. So far, several European and 1 US (ProgPower XXIII) dates are confirmed. And you're right, Lovebites is not just a power metal band, they play a seamless and innovative blend of speed-power/thrash/prog/neoclassical metal/heavy rock/power ballads which makes their sound unique and contemporary.
I saw The Warning Live at Download festival and they are incredible live, they should be a must see for you if you get the chance. I hadnt really heard them much before then but im a huge fan now after seeing that live set
Yes got tickets now to see them in April! Super excited about it Ps. You might want to check out my BRAND NEW video about 5 (more) bands that I think might become big in 2024 (PART 2) ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-MiEzRbYeU-U.html
Yes they are really good and probably going to get huge!
So, The Warning spent 9 and a half years on the USA, Mexico, and some excursions into South America. They get invited to Europe for the first time in January 2023, by their heros, Muse. They perform a few headliner shows in Europe. In April 2024, they have their own headliner tour. I have no reference point to compare this to. Shows are selling out and venues are being upgraded. Their growth seems unbelievable.
@metalandrockzone In 2023, when they were going to Europe the first time, they scheduled a couple of shows in Spain. You know. Naturally. Test the reception. Small venues. See if anyone has heard of them. The tickets sold out in about 48 hours, and they were trying to get larger venues in Spain. They had NEVER been to Europe in their lives. It was nuts. When they played in Germany in a small venue in 2023, the crowd was loudly singing their songs. It's hard to believe.
