5 useful cat care hacks (so your baby doesn't struggle) 

Hi Jess. I want to give you some encouragement by letting you know that you absolutely made a difference for my sweet Vega. I won't switch to whole prey because I can't handle the baby carcasses. At all. How do they raise them and how do they kill them? Shudder. Nope. Just can't. BUT, we switched to Tiki Cat Dark and went off kibble 100 %. She does like her crunchy bits so we use Whole Life Pet living trreats, salmon and chicken. She lost 3 lbs when I took her off of the high-carb stuff. It wasn't easy because she was addicted. But, now she's addicted to the good stuff. Thanks for your research and work. Never doubt that you help others. You do. ❤

Hi Jess, it’s so hard to keep up with the dust and cat fur. I try to run a dry mop (reuseable equivalent of a Swiffer) daily. Maybe it’s the western exposer windows that allow me to see how awful they get even after a day. But just the quick run over help between vacuums and washes. My cats sleep in my bed all day, but boy do their nails wreck havoc on those sheets by causing runs…even on the 100% cotton ones. They are so pricey these days!!! May I recommend a cleaner for you? Hypochlorous acid. It’s used by a well know veterinarian company as a wound care and facial/ear/ dental care product, but I was buying the house cleaning product way before the cat rescue told me to get the wound care for ringworm lesions. The houseclean product is safe enough to use on skin and Jericho can walk on it! I bought mine through an office supply store, but noticed they don’t sell the refill capsules. Many people just buy a generator one time and make large batches. Thought I’d mention it as it fits in the theme of the topic of this video

Have you checked out Dr. Andrew Jones, the Canadian Holistic vet? Not that Jericho has fleas (he probably doesn’t), but I’ll Never use drops again. I’m using diatomaceous earth and natural oils.

Huh, I’m surprised that raw meaty bones hasn’t helped with cleaning or the inflammation but if he can’t chew it then I guess that makes sense; I just got freeze dried duck necks yesterday and cut part of it for one of my boys and just that one made the plaque and tartar come off so well for just one feeding :O

Hope Jericho itching and rashes resolve that he feed better soon ……..I wish I could buy Comforters and the beautiful bed you bought for Jericho unfortunately my cat that is now 10 months started eating fabric including pieces off his toys and also taking the Sponge that I wash dishes . He was drowning up his food and water. It took awhile for the Symptoms to develop everything he ate form into a Foreign object hospitalized to see if the IV fluids rushes it down the colon to prevent surgery…. Thankfully it did came in his stool buried in there. So come to know my Jasper has PICA .

I lined my cats beds with cotton sweaters that I would hand vac before washing every couple of weeks. The had vac was good for the Cat tree as well.

Unfortunately sometimes cats get allergic reaction to certain foods even though they ate it before and it never happened.

Have you ever had an allergy test for him? We did bloodwork at the vet and my little one is allergic to chicken, actually all poultry. And a slew of other things. The test helped me help her allergies so much. And the vet also suggested an air purifier which has also helped a great deal ❤❤ for me too. I def notice a difference in the air quality of the home. 🏡 xo

Hey Jess Thank you for your videos. I am attempting to transition my cats to raw by first giving wet food. They wont eat it. I tried blended wet and chunky wet. Can i skip the wet food and go right to raw from dry? I think you had a recipe that i can use to start. Is that accurate? I live in Japan and we have a great butcher and a fisherman who comes once a week. What cuts can i ask them to save? I see the fisherman throw away the fish guts... idk if it could go to ollie and jr. Thank you so very much. If you ever come to this side of Japan i would love to suggest a few places 2 check out. Im sure you can use a vacation with all the hard work you do for us. 😊😊

Hello, Jess and Jerico, first thanks for all the good advice I agree dry food shouldn't your only option. however, I had two calicos that I feed by hand with the help from my brother and sisters thank to Minerva giving us work because the mother cat left them in her apartment. those kittens was given away with only Tubbs and her sister we kept. they lived till 25 years later those two cats was feed exclusively dry food kit kaboodle to be exact ah what I didn't know then that wasn't good quality cat food. I digress we didn't have air condition so in the summer those cats and the dogs was given a summer bath, and they didn't complain without the two dogs king Charles spaniel the uncle to those six kittens. maybe a cat spa for Jerico a comb and brush and a shampoo might help his skin. Cleo passed away in January this year she was 18 years old I felt cheated when she passed away, I bath her too in the summer once a year. So, sugar and maple are Torti cats and I bath both cats and have my skin intact over twenty years of bathing cats and dogs these two cats their coats are shiny like your cat Jerico. if those two cats could talk human I was probably being cursed out in cat language, I gave the cats a wash and shampoo because one was itching a lot and was being on the safe side if it was fleas of something else. good luck with Jerico. we have mites on our body and it's microscopic to the naked eye could i also suggest the small bissell pet vacuum if food was left in the carpet fiber or a strong vacuum not to damage the wood in the cat condo.
