Learned so much for you and so thankful. My 2 yr old kitties are better for it. I’m not perfect and haven’t gone completely raw but am glad I have prioritized wet food and not feee feeding.

My cats originally were on raw. Then one got sick with Vomiting and Diarrhea so my vet suggestion a prescription diet. Now after a year I want to change their diet, but they won’t even accept water on their kibble. It’s like I am going backwards! They are willing to eat freeze dried but so expensive and still no interest when I add moisture 😮‍💨

Yes cats become picky when dry food is in the diet! That's exactly what I teach in my blueprint. It's designed for picky cats because that's the most. common thing I hear (:

Hi, my boy giardia that he got from my newly adopted kitten. Didnt know the she had giardia. Heck I didnt know what giardia was until a week ago😞. She just finished her meds. So far she doesnt really have food intake prob. She eats whatever I feed her. So they've been 1 week together when I knew. The boy suddenly is refusing my homemad wetfood. Is this normal? I feed him canned wetfood this few days because I need him to eat. He's also still on his meds for giardia. I am worried that he wouldn't eat homemade wetfood anymore, canned food can be quite costly. 😩. Are they are toppers that u know that can help?

I have 2 kittens (10 and 9 mo old) I want to transition. They are on Kiwi Air dried cat food for middle of day and morning/night wet food from Feline Naturals wet food. I was going to start with VIva raw because they have now for all life stages! Kittens need to be fed 3-4 times a day and I am not home for the middle of the day which is why I have the air dried cat food. I want them to have the meaty bones diet. I am kinda at a loss of where to start, should I start with Viva raw or just with meaty bones once they are over 1yr old and can go down to feeding twice a day. My 9old Siamese is bigger and chonky compared to my Tabby, but my Tabby is also indoor/outdoor cat. The Siamese is just getting trained for the outdoors. She was a rescue, and had issues being a scary cat but really transition to a calmer kitten now. I've worked hard for that but she is doing well. Just need some help with this transition. Next week they both have vet visits and i will know their weight. Pls any suggestions will help me. Love your videos

Happy Sardine Sunday. My cats will not eat raw chicken, so I boil thighs. Still working on raw meaty bones or equivalent. Several people have asked me about feeding my cats homemade. I refer them to you. I am sure you are aware that some Korporate Kibble channels are now critiquing raw/homemade posters by name. Shalom!

Shalom!! Sardinieeeees lol I mentioned this in another comment but I wouldn't add rmb randomly. Only feed within a complete homemade recipe. Don't want to add on top of something that's already complete as bones are quite large. Thank you for sending people my way!

How do you know if your wet food or dry is high in carbs? The labels dont say anything about carbs🤔

They do not! So we use the numbers that are included and estimate. I have a carb calculator here: caticles.com/carb-calculator-for-cat-food/. The guide also explains how to do the maths.

What I’ve learned - All dry food is high in carbs. Just skip dry 💯 of the time. Any wet food is wayyyy better.

Hi Jess can I put extra Taurine in my cat cooked ground beef even though I am putting Premix know better supplements which has Taurine already it won’t harm my kitty and extra chicken hearts.

My cat loves freeze-dried chicken necks, but I have not had any luck with him eating raw meaty bones. I've tried chicken necks, chicken feet, and wing tips. He will take a few chomps and I will hear bone crunching, but he does not go further. I've tried putting it inside of his wet food, and covering it in churu, but nothing seems to work. Would you happen to have any tips?

Well I wouldn't suggest adding raw meaty bones randomly. For example, on top of wet food which is already complete. Adding raw meaty bones will add more calcium and potentially unbalance other nutrients. RMB should be fed when you are feeding a complete homemade recipe.

@@jesscaticles that's a great point! I only give it to him once a week for the teeth cleaning benefits because he does not tolerate brushing. I have monitored his poop carefully and his regular checkups at the vet also look great. I'm looking to give him fresh RMB because its cheaper

I'd suggest using complete recipes from a nutritionist so that you know it's complete. I teach how to switch to commercial raw in my blueprint and how to make homemade food (with complete recipes) inside my homemade starter kit. Links are in the description!
