My breakup was h3ll but I am thriving now. to anyone reading this with a broken heart, I pray for strength, healing and that you will also be able to laugh for the days to come

You can't go back in time and correct your mistakes. But you can learn from it and forgive yourself for not understanding so well before.

How to get over break heart : 1) Journal it. 2) Exercise. Walk. 3) Shift your thoughts to thankfulness. 4) Don't listen to sad songs. 5) Let them go.

The worst feeling in the world is when you can’t love anyone else because your heart still belongs to the one who broke it 💔💯😔

My number 1. Break all contact!!!! Delete their contacts, delete or hide all pictures & text messages, throw away or store away any gifts. Don't have anything that brings back memories. Its hard but necessary.

I don't think I can ever have a broken heart again. I learnt to take responsibility for my own joy, bliss, happiness. I realized no one can make me happy but me. And no one can add anything to me or take anything away from me!!

That "let them go" part just hit different for me. Just got out of an engagement with someone which I thought would be my wife. I had to end it because she was constantly belittling me saying I was worthless and wouldn't amount to anything so with tears in my eyes I ended a 3-4 year relationship. She was my first love and first real heartbreak. Even though she did so much damage I miss her every single day but I know I made the right decision, it's just time to let go of the possibilities of what could've been.

I'm still in shock I discovered the cheating yesterday while the night before we were cuddling in bed and him telling me that we should start planning our mariage, I feel sick to my stomach, lord give me strength to get through this safely

The letting go of what you thought it was going to be is the hardest part for me. Letting go of the future you had built in your mind for the relationship.

I still remember that it took me 3 years to finally move on from my ex-fiance and it was 4 long years relationship. I was 26yo at that time. Now Iam 30, just got my heart broken (again) but I know this shall pass again like last time. It hurts but Iam sure it will get better in time. Whenever I am going through a seperatiom, running away from your emotional pain by releasing energy towards hitting the gym might help but it'll always end feeling greater pain. What I usually do , I will dig out all the pain, face it and process the pain . Slowly but surely , you will be able to go through this. Trust the process . Time will heal, pain will subside and life will be meaningful again

So true. The letting go is the hardest one. It sometimes can even feel impossible especially when we got wounded as children. The problem arises how do we let go ? How do we grow and truly move on ? Only one thing has been working for me personally: that is forgiveness. At first it seemed too difficult to even read few pages about it. I wish I had this video 6 months back when I was bleeding emotionally like hell. But still your another videos were also like a gem. I had followed a few tips for this videos as well, like meditating, changing tune , being physically active and stuff. I've not healed all the wounds properly but I'm sure by the coming months I'll be over that also. Thankyou mate!

Here because God woke me up at 3am and my Angels led me to this video... I've randomly watched Jay's videos for years but today this one resonates on a spiritual level... Prayers answered 🙏🏼 thank God and Jay for these helpful tools. Not because of break-up but the loss of my mom, sis, and nephew and having to burry all three last year. God is Great and he will heal and get us through anything 💗

3 years ago my boyfriend's best friend hit on me , and blamed me that i encouraged him , while i felt a lot of affection for my boyfriend he got all angry and the relationship was ruined , it became just physical from his side , a month later i broke up , he still wanted to be friends and i tried , i was hurt and i used to call out to him time and again how he hurt me. Then one day i finally told him that the hurt was too hard to be forgotten and forgiven and that i can't be friends with someone who disrespected me in the worst way possible and didn't take a stand for me in front of his friend . It's been an year since then but i think about him a lot sometimes i am angry sometimes i wish good things to happen to him , but i just want him out of my mind ,his thoughts make me unhappy i font know what to do

Your time with everyone in the world is limited. Some people will come and go, some will stay a little longer but eventually, you can never stay with anyone forever. People also die. Therefore it is important to enjoy and cherish every moment with them and when they decide to leave, let them go. This is YOUR time on earth. You will never get back any second of your time... so wasting it on suffering for a person who doesn't even care about it? No, not worth it. I am brokenhearted... After 2 years of love, he wants to meet someone new to feel the flame of passionate love again. I am not gonna lie, I got depressed, I couldn't eat or sleep for a month and I lost the willpower to live and enjoy... well anything. BUT it's getting better (although the insomnia is still a problem). I've decided not to spend my time on useless thinking about what could have been and to actually focus on things that can be. I'm not ready to date, I need to heal completely first but I'm not giving up on life, I'm not giving up on living...

I was in a relationship for 13 years with a girl. She was always very loyal and made constant efforts to love me. Never let me down...I too loved her a lot but with time I started to take her for granted. Didnt value her love and I did and made her do things, the way I wanted..she did everything for me as she loved me that much. I was doing all these being unaware that I am wrong..I thought everything is ok...but I was hurting her is some or other way...She just craved my love and attention and I was busy in my own world. Although I always treated her like a gentleman and cared for her. She has been continuously telling me to talk to my parents for marriage, and make it a halal rishta. I wanted to marry her too but I kept stalling things . She fought for me with everyone in the family. I had a casual nature and failed to understand the gravity of the situation. She warned me many times it's high time now otherwise she will get engaged. I did talked to my family but due to some issue I gave up too soon but thought we will work it out again..She was fed up of me by this moment and decided to get engaged with a stranger. But she found a good family and the guy is nice to him too .She is happy and can't take a step back..now i am left alone as she has moved on and I am in depression as I lost a true gem..Didn't value her when there was time..didnt value the relationship. Although it was never intentional. Now I am in pain and missing her..learnt the biggest lesson of my life. just wish to go back in time and fix everything. Nobody will love me the way she did..a selfless love. I feel such a loser. Is it my fault or is it destiny.?

I've recently broke up with my gf after 3 years of relationship. I thought we would last forever but it ended. The reason for our breakup is we fight a lot and she demands a lot of attention from me and she compares me with every guys insult my parents, brothers, family and friends . I was so tired of thus frequent insults and she also didn't stay humble to Me. I know am possessive but she made many new male firends and she was so close to them . This is just 9 days of my heart broken, but everyday it appears to be fresh, no sign of betterment yet in my heart and I'm sure it is because, she didn't deny me, her mum didn't denied me but her Dad pressured them that she must get married within this year (coz someone that is ready approached her Dad) they actually talked to me but I'm not financially capable to get married by now, money and accommodation is my only problem 😢. I can't stop crying, I thought of anything possible but yet I couldn't find. Please I need your support/encouragement.

And believe me those videos helped me through Junior High and high school too. They helped me understand that I have a purpose and reason. I came into the university fell in love with this girl and she broke up with me. It's been a week atleast, and felt as if my world is tumbling down. I came online to try and find meaning and purpose and I found this video. Truth be told, reason Number 5 as really spoken to my heart. I guess it's time I let go of the possibility of being with her. I guess she was another big part of my learning and growth. I'm grateful for the experience, and I have an amazing new life lined up.
