Steering wheel locks can be defeated by cutting the wheel but there's one that locks the pedals. We used to take the distributor cap or primary wire but modern cars are a pain. Hidden ignition and fuel pump switches can help but nothing stops a flatbed truck.

My family has had a 4 door integra parked outside in driveway for 24 years and it has never been stolen. And probably never will because it is so beat up looking but it still has a great engine/transmission.

I have viper smart start that has standalone Verizon service. If my alarm goes off I recieve a text alert. I can also gps track my car with this type of alarm. The service is $99 a year. I live in vegas where walking from a parking garage to a casino would exceed the range of a 2 way remote.

#1 is to have your car fully insured. Insure your mods as well. If you put a ton of money into modifying your car then this should be a no brainer...

Well,they used a flatbed for my bros crx.We took out computer, disconnected the plug on the dizzy,pager alarm air horns.Still woke up gone.Luckily we found the car.This was years ago.If they want want they will get it.

Pull the ecu fuse super easy and quick mine always get pulled every night

On my acura I have a toggle switch wired to the neutral safety switch and hidden under the dash, if you don't hit the switch the car wont start when you press on the clutch, i also installed an aftermarket alarm system

I have a clutch pedal kill switch on mine. I also have one on my civic. Someone attempted to steal my civic but they couldn't start it.

i’m just gunna put a kill switch in it and hope for the best lmao

I have the quick release steering wheel, the kill switch hidden and.a fuse that I take with me for the wire to connect the starter to the key ignition. They have all worked. But they get in to turn my emergency signals on to drain my battery. They find a way.

My 95 gsr got stolen a week ago, they used a Chrysler key (they left the key on the floor) , after loosing $7000 in sterio system im like "do i start all over with all the preventative measures, alarm, kill switch, removable steering wheel (seems kina silly if ya have a brain you'd just get some big vise grips er somthing) door handles etc etc, or f... it and get a diferent kind of car....

I park my teg in my garage once I get home, I have a good alarm system that also comes with a killswitch, I carry my steering wheel everywhere I go but having that GPS would be cool lmao gotta keep them safe, thieves are a bitch

My buddy has a compustar system. The key vibrates whenever anything happens (even his camry’s ricer exhaust sets it off), fuel pump cut off, and the whole thing goes into full freak out mode. And when he unlocks it it whistles at him so thats cool. Overall great system

I guess they steal Integras based on how pristine they look. Mine is multicolored with a big dent on the fender and door. Had my car for over a year now and I haven't had anyone try to steal mine, even had the windows down for about a week and left it out in the open, didn't get stolen neither had any of my stuff stolen. Broken door handles probably help as well. The latch on the driver door sometimes makes it hard for me to open my own door, and my key can't even open that door, so it can be a challenge for thieves.

Heyy heyy that iphone tracking guy is a genius just like me I do the sane shit but with an old android I have a 12custom output port and the phone is hidden this is the best way since u only have to pay for the mobile network for the extremely low data usage used but this will ruin ur phone while plugging it in charge so make sure it's some shitty phone which u don't use!

Someone tried to steal my 93 integra at work! I went outside & saw only 1 car (suv) parked next to mine in lot full of empty spots & I walk around this suv & see a fucking guy in my car with a bunch of shit in my trunk! So I instinctually opened the door to MY car & say get tf fuck out which he responded “what u mean? This my car I just bought it” while I’m standing there dumb founded with the keys to the car in my pocket & I record him & he tried to grab my phone & I told him to back tf up & im calling the cops & then he frantically started trying to get his shit out of my car back into his shit box Ford Explorer & then sped off leaving most of his shit in my car which I later gave to the cops. They still haven’t found this stupid bum but 1. Lock you’r doors always 2.get a quick release 3. Get an alarm & 4.get a hidden kill switch

or do what i do, keep one of the battery terminals loose, leave hood semi-close so it looks closed-lock car and take terminal off, of course make sure nobody is watching, that or the steering wheel lock jack,looks tacky but works

There is really no way to actually "PREVENT" your car from being stolen. These are just tips on keeping your car a little more secure. you should really think about what you say before you actually make a video about it. someone could take your advice and think their car is safe from theft because of some shit you said but in actuality its just going to make them a bigger target for getting their car stolen. trust me i know i have had many people take dumb advice about car theft from guys who don't know anything, and it ended up biting them in the ass. just saying.
