I've had my Fold 3 for two weeks now and, although VERY pleased with it, I have found one shortcoming. I've experienced overheating now two or three times. There is a notification that certain apps will be closed (RU-vid!!) in 20 seconds then they are shut down due to the heat. Wonder if this is due to a design flaw or just some combination of settings which could be changed to mitigate the overheating.

Just got my Z Fold 3 yesterday. I'm glad I waited a few years before replacing my Note 10+. I'm loving this thing already! This video was a HUGE help for settings and ideas! Only thing I'm not sold on is the S-Pen. I didn't really use it much on my Note(tho I used it a lot when I was at conventions for taking photos easier). So I may wait until the Bluetooth version goes on sale before I get one. I'd like to have it for easier access to taking photos and such now that conventions and things are starting back up again(hopefully). Thanks again for this great video!

I was definitely concerned about swapping out my note 10+ for the fold 3. I'm still waiting on it to arrive, but I'm really hoping i made the right decision. I definitely use the s pen to take notes constantly, especially at work, but do i wanna spend $50 just on a stylus?

I actually got it for 850.00 for the 512Gb with taxes after my trade in including the case that holds the pen. If you order through the Samsung shop app it gives u an extra 100.00 off than the site. Will be here tomorrow

On my Note 10+ , I use the Edge Panel a lot. The screen shot panel is super useful as is the copy and paste one, contacts for quick text message and a few other panels.

Your knowledge of Samsung phones is Top Drawer💯👌🏾! I received my z 3 fold August 20th and returned it today. It's a premium product for sure but for me is far from practical for everyday life. I'm gutted samsung swerved the note series this year, which means my Note 10 plus is my ride or die till Note 2022!

You can change power button/finger scanner to move upper bar down or up... its amazing, so you dont have to reach top with your fingers

A few days ago I got my Samsung Z Fold3 (an upgrade from my Note 10+). Quite happy with it and enjoyed your RU-vid video on it. One issue that bugs me is the presentation of WhatsApp. Yes, all the screen sizes can be altered for the apps, however, on opening WhatsApp on the folding screen, WhatsApp uses the left side to display the names and the right side to display the messages, pictures, videos, etc. So, the information I am looking at has in fact become SMALLER on the screen. On a computer/laptop this works well, but on the Z Fold3 the reduced size is not something I like. Is there any way to have the messages, pictures, videos, etc. displayed on the full screen? I want to ask you people: Are you using the feature "Protect Battery" (Maximum charge - 85%) and did this helps battery?

I have a 4-year-old Note 8 and if AccuBattery is roughly accurate, I have about 86% of my rated battery capacity still. You're basically treating your phone as if it were 4 years older, in order for it to MAYBE work a little better after those first 4 years. I think it's dumb.

To have the most perfect-est battery ever and be at the top 1% of batteries, you should always keep your battery between 50-80%. Now to be real and realistic, it doesn't matter much if you "overcharge" your battery today, as most phones/batteries are "smart" enough to avoid this being an issue. Honestly if you really want to help slow down battery degradation, use a slower charger. There are youtube videos out there can that can explain better than I as to why, but if you have one of these newer phones that does 15/25/30W charging, and you have an older charger that does 10W for example, use the slower one if you don't need it charged ASAP.

What I'm going to do with my z fold 3 is use Bixby routines to enable it at night while charging and turn it off an hour before I wake up, that way it's not bouncing around at 100% all night and damaging the battery, this way it only tops up right when I need it.
