For those interested, the inside of stretch Armstrong is referred to as a non-Newtonian fluid. Similar to The effect you get when you mix cornstarch and water.

I had a couple of these as a kid. One thing I learned, if they get punctured, they will never stop "bleeding." I never found anything that would stop a puncture from leaking.
