When I was in the yugoslav wars, the serb forces used a triple KPV 14.5 heavy machine gun settup used for anti air on us (bosnian army). I had only a tokarev pistol with 4 bullets in it. One short burst hit a smaller oak tree behind my trench and it exploded in that moment. I also saw what a 12.7x108mm dshk round can do to a human body... its like spaghetti bolognese with meatballs after just one round to the torso.

Filling them with water makes all the difference. Hollow pumpkins are lame, but when you add something incompressible in the middle it causes great things to happen.

Laughed my head off on the opening. Surprised me that the first round did not make gravy out of the stretch Armstrongs. Just the kenitic energy I thought would be game over. That bonded round did more damage but stopped in the "goop figure which blew my mind. Excellent video and eye opening. I'd like to see what the Elephant rife would do to an engine. Now that would be a good idea, if the insides were made of ballistic gel. The inside is made of corn syrup, which is why they become pliable when they’re warm, and also how they can retain their shape when stretched out.

@Samuel Prince Well, corn syrup isn’t exactly a non Newtonian fluid. It acts more like a very thick syrup. However the liquid inside of the Stretch Armstrong figures does seem to have some additions. When free of the figure, it does act a lot like a non Newtonian fluid, however it’s much thicker and as such loses the ability to mimic a non Newtonian fluid perfectly.

The Lehigh EP wouldn't have gone as far. The flutes on the tip are designed to disrupt tissue/fluid and such action is akin to a parachute. Very similar to a hollowpoint expansion. The flat nosed copper solid is actually the best way to get through the most material. The only improvement that could be made is a careful balance of weight and velocity. Going too quickly can also prevent penetration.
