Just finished the 50th Law audiobook, highly recommend it! It's interesting to see two people, from completely different walks of life, come to the same common principles of moving through life and navigating yourself. 50 is underrated and an amazing example of how the disadvantages you're dealt by life are the door to discovering your innate advantages.
Today fear is useless unless we are getting chased by a wild animal; Focus is what we need and intense realism the ability to see things as they are and then take action flowing through life
Hello... Could you please elaborate on your comment as I find so interesting.... "Have goals, but more important is a system whereby growth is unending and breeds success of it's own accord."

Completely agree. There's actually a song from a Canadian rock band called "Rush", with a song titled "Roll the Bones", which is about this very subject. In essence, if you don't take chances, you'll never win. If you're too afraid of failure, it will consume you. The antidote to fear is failure. Fear is more like never taking a risk.
Fear is also learned and passed down from peers and parental figures...it's a process to unlearn the irrational beliefs picked up in the environment and all the ideas that feed our self doubt..I suppose the best way to conquer fear is to do that which you are afraid of.. A mind accustomed to fear also has a tendency to exaggerate danger and as a result make us stagnant...the greatest version of self exists on the other side of fear...
The teachings of Buddha seem to be concerned with fear and how to overcome it. I wonder if 50 cent, and other supposedly fearless people have stumbled upon a common mentality. Very cool.
I wish there was a way for me to apologize to this dude. I met him and 50 at a book signing years ago. I was so excited to meet my role model 50 that I never got to shake his hand.
Assholes and psychopaths seem also fearless , they do not Care. Peaple with principles and comitment experience fear because they are aware of the Moral consecuences of their Actions . The world is a dangerous place.
if you damage the amygdala which is part of the brain you can be fearless. but then again you'll have other problems like not being able to read social cues and memory loss. the amygdala is a part of the brain that is concerned with the emotion of fear. surprised he didn't mention it
Big think...... 50 Cent... Curtis Jackson.... Queens Bridge.... Man why do you people listen to this? Want to know about fear and people? Walk through Queens Bridge after 9. Stop..... letting others think for you... Man....
Hahaha. Thank you so much for such an insightful thoughts. You're a modern day Niccolo marchiavelli. Can anyone suggest me a more Machiavellian writer than Robert or someone very Machiavellian , please.
A little difficult to find, but I would highly recommend the book "How to win friends and influence people" I know what you're thinking its not Machiavellian in any way however at its root it does have a few lessons - Don't reveal too much, allow others to speak more etc - just sugar coated. but Very valuble book
Interesting prospective however, there a little more to it when you don't motivate yourself first. It helps to think outside the box. Good advice I agree, just some people should think before they acted.
What is it with this uncle Tom white guy who compares a crack dealer who cant sing or play instruments with world leaders?I wonder what would happen to Mr Green if he walked through any of those crack infested neighbourhoods and if after he got beat up or shot would he think Crack and it's gang of greedy black supremacists are so great?
