@Chris B just seem like he wouldn't associate with em, 50, or ja at that stage. Probably would've had a record label with artist and be too busy with them.
2023! Still a Legend. I was 13 making bootleg cds making money from this era of rap. Thanks to 50. My hustle was get rich or die trying. Im richer than yesterday
@jazzyfour YES! went to the 99 cent store or China town and brought the bulk...spent 15 minutes burning the cds lol ...started making custom music list and shit
Came back to listen to this classic in 2023. I was so blessed to hear this come on the radio as a world premiere back in 03. It was one of the best years of my life. I'm so glad I got to live it. I wish I could go back. I jumped off the porch that year, too. It sounds funny now, but I was tryna be the realist, most respected gangsta I could be tryna earn my stripes. Lol nbs.
+Dick Dansom First of all they all ratted themselves out all turned on each other like straight punks, then Ja never made a track after this song and Nail in Coffin Haileys revenge them 3 ended him n murder inc!!!!
Ja was like "50 ain't shit"! Then Em, Dre, Obie, D12, G-Unit, DMX, Bus, and 2Pac said "No, you ain't shit" P.S. Before you respond the song is called "The Realest Killaz (feat. 50 Cent)" by 2Pac (Produced by Red Spyda)
Yup im going busta had the hardest lines...he was prolly the most offended cause he wasnt even involved in this.... Then em Then 50[btw lines were hard]
My Dad recently said something about Ja & even though I was middle school when this song came out, I had so much confidence in my voice 15+ years later and said "Aw, naw, his career ended years ago after Eminem and 50 came for him." The point is: there is no age requirement for recognizing when them shots make contact. RIP
Busta’s verse is up there with the top diss bars of all time.... This is such an underrated diss verse... Punch after punch after punch.. All facts too I remember watching the 106 and park episode where they debuted a new Ja Rule song and for the first time EVER fans in the crowd said it was wack when they went around asking what people thought about it lol
@@Reaper12358 not like this, meet the Grahams was half false information by the way Drake doesn't have a daughter and Drake is very much in his son's life. It was more falsely dry snitching if anything lol
@@mikehezzydaillest7842most rappers dissing is false information you’re a weirdo. Meet the grahams was one of the most disrespectful disses of all time and Kendrick stayed true to himself without talking all tough…..
@Ellis Kinahan Tupac: God Damn 50 Killed Him Even In My Best Years I Couldn't Come Close To The Shit 50 Cent Says On This Track Including Being Shot Nine Times Nine Fucking Times And Survived? I Dunno How This Nigga Ain't Dead
@@thetwinsuniverse1125 I SAID IT IN ANOTHER COMMENT THREAD DAWG Hating bitch he repeated Pacs verse as homage, a diss and a ground of realness the only one who could say it word for word and portray the same exact thing. Buster.
@@thetwinsuniverse1125 shut up bitch you outed yourself as a hater I bet if Officer Ross or Ja Rule rapped 2pacs lyrics your head would be nodding you punk ass
50 and Em spit some heat but Busta truly snapped. "Hey Jeffery, what the *fuck* you come involving me for?" That whole verse sounded like he was Ja's disappointed father.
@@logawinner Pac didn't like anyone copying him, at all. For real, he probably would've been the first one to diss Em. Why? That's easy... *1)* Em is a protégé of Dr. Dre, someone Pac had an issue with. We know from the beef with Big, that Pac wasn't against going at anyone who rolled with his enemy. *2)* Pac liked to be the center of attention, he was hip hops controversial shit talker...probably wouldn't have appreciated Em trying to steal his thunder. *3)* Pac loved to sell albums, and he knew how to do it...just look at the East/West beef. Pac would have known from the jump that a beef between him and Em would be huge *4)* Pac was a hot head, like the time he took all the bootleg tapes from a street vendor in NYC in the middle of an interview on MTV. No way he'd be able to stay quiet, especially when... *5)* Eminem made a racist song about Black women, pretty much the antithesis of Keep Ya Head Up. We know Pac was a proud Black man, who didn't like his people being mistreated...like when he stopped his limo and shot two white guys (who were off duty cops) because they were beating up a Black guy.
LOL i hope that wasn’t a diss, but if it was he basically said it in so many words that this isn’t him to be like this, he had to get out of character to do this and a misunderstanding I’m guessing that’s what it was from Ja is what caused it, and he said one of his sons who brought it to his attention🙂
That wasn't just disrespectful, there's a word worse than that but Idk what it is. That was some spit on your grave type shit. That was just downright unpleasant
Dude can put a twist of PAC & do it well . I like how he uses the pac influence on “Quitter” the everlast diss record man as a dj I love spinning shit like dat
Ja Rule lost this battle from the time he said Hailies name....Eminem destroyed in all battles .....Eminem +50 Cent +Obie Trice + Proof +G-unit +D12....=unstoppable (literally )....nobody can win against them
Bradlen Govender that whole era with all of shady/aftermath was sick!! I of course listen to almost all types of music but my 17 month old boy is growing up listening to that whole catalog!!
When this diss track dropped, it set the tone for the early 2000's. Ja Rule got destroyed... Em, 50, and Busta went hard as fuck on this track. Best part was 50 and Busta backed up the white boy after Ja Rule insulted Hailey. True friends = Respect
I love when Busta said "Hey Jeffrey..." he ain't playing using the government name lol. This song ended Ja's career but Busta closed the coffin and buried him on this!
In the early 2000's if they played your shit back to back multiple times you a hit. When Nas dropped ether it was crazy plus Nas dropped ether on Jay-Z birthday
*To all the kids who don’t know the history and the family tree of NWA:* _Snoop Dogg, (edit: Tupac came into the family after he was already a recording artist) Eminem, 50 Cent and all of their crews are the direct spawn of NWA. Not any artist has official access to the Pac raw beats. Eminem is part of the family. That’s why he is respected the way he is. Learn your history. Some kids are cool and take the time to learn about it. Others - not so much._
One Life To Live Oh I’m not so much angry as I am irritated by the state of rap these days. I’m a teen of the 90’s and I’ve never seen hip hop and rap dumbed down like it is today. My goodness, even our pop rap had more substance than most of the stuff out right now. I hope that made sense, lol.
I think the whole meta point of this track is how these guys can all do what Ja does (mimic Pac on a track) and still come out on top. It's like they're using his artistic device against him, while calling him shitty at the same time. It's a fucking brutal diss.
