Summary:
1. Sugary Beverages
Sugary drinks are basically beverages that contain added sweeteners and flavours. These include soda, tonic, fruit punch, energy drinks and more. A single tablespoon contains about 4 grams of sugar. A typical can of soda contains 7 to 10 tablespoons of sugar. Swap your can of soda with a glass of lemon water for accelerating weight loss.
2. Potato Chips
Potato chips contain extra flavoring, additives, fat and sugar. Out of all the fat causing offenders, potato chips are the worst! Along with a dangerous amount of sodium, a bag of chips is also high in trans fat. This leads to obesity along with heart disease, diabetes and Alzheimer's. Go for healthy snacks like celery, kale chips, dark chocolate or apple slices with peanut butter!
3. Processed Meats
Obesity and weight gain is directly linked to processed meats which include sausages, salami, beef jerky and canned meat. They contain many different combinations of irresistible and delicious flavors, additives and fat which usually makes people overeat. They lack fiber, protein, vitamins and other essential nutrients. So if you are looking to ditch a few pounds then processed meats is a no-go!
4. White Rice
Rice is a staple food for half of Earth’s population. Easy to cook, and versatile, it’s packed with calories. A single cup of rice contains 200 calories which is a disaster for someone looking to lose weight. When compared to brown rice, white rice is stripped off its vitamins and minerals during the refining process. Filled with carbs, this food should be avoided at all costs or replaced with unprocessed brown rice.

just so you guys know, do not completely ignore these foods! every once in a while, you deserve to reward yourself. being on a really strict diet for a really long time isn't good for you also, please get the nutrients you need!

I honestly never had problems with drinking coffee with cream and sugar depends on how much you put it in there. And what creamer you get. I get the powdered creamer. It’s good and gives me no problems losing weight. Just don’t drink 3,4 or more it’ll be to much sugar if your trying to lose weight. I tried black coffee I couldn’t do it. It is so nasty. It’s just a strong water taste. Watch what y’all put in your body. I lost 20 pounds by watching what I eat, I quit soda in the middle of summer. Nothing but water and when I wake up coffee. And what I eat is sometimes salad and a baked chicken sandwich. Don’t quit every food or drink that you love just don’t drink or eat it everyday. Watch how much you put in your body.

Many thanks for a great video. I'm a Diabetic Type 2 which led to Type 1. I'm recently juicing using 3/4 veg and 1/4 fruits. Plus wholemeal bread, Brown Rice, Red Lentils and Lentil Pasta. I'm now eating more oily fish and less red meats. Most, if not all, of your "no-no foods" for dieting I have cut out completely. I feel like a different woman: physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. My Diabetes readings have significantly lowered. I wish I could give away or sell my juices - they are "out of this world" and made with LOVE.

I agree. However, foods are made to be addictive so it's easy for people to overeat. Sugar is addictive, said to be more addictive than drugs. If you are addicted to sugar (which a lot of people are) it may be a bit difficult to eat in moderation. I know I was addicted to sugar and carbs. I ate a lot. I could hold an entire large pizza in my stomach. But then I got fatter (obviously) and decided it was time to change. I started keto a little less than a week ago. I want to keep at this keto thing until I get fat adapted and then maybe slowly introduce whole carbs back to see what works for me and what doesn't. I love fries and onion rings and pizza and all that good stuff. But it's so easy to overeat and that's why I'm going back, starting over to lose weight and then see what works for me. I know sometimes when I eat carbs, I wake up and my stomach is super flat. The rest of the time, my stomach increases in size. I don't know why that happens or if it's some sort if food that I ate, but yeah. I think the first carb I'll incorporate after a few months is rice then potatoes and more and more after. If they have a negative affect on my body, I'll just not eat it. It's easy to not eat stuff, but it's hard to not overeat stuff. Edit: I change my mind. I'll be doing the opposite if what I said I would do. I will not be incorporating those foods into my diet. I want to try carnivore so I'll be doing that instead

I’d say you can eat the same things you have been eating but just in smaller portions and if your eating a snack then don’t eat to much of it or eat it to often! For example you can still have rice but in a smaller portion than you might have been eating it before. If you want a snack I’d stick to healthier stuff but If you wanna have the same snacks you have been eating, don’t eat to much of it!

I have lost 40 lbs and I still eat pasta, pizza, burgers, peanut butter, wings, and red meats. Difference everything is in moderation and exercise. You can't stick to a diet if you don't satisfy your cravings on occasions

Wow that's a lot! How much are you trying to loose? It's taken me 6 momths to only loose 15 lbs and I eat nothing, only vegetables and some whole wheat cerail. And a banana sometimes .I have never ate anything else it's about 1500 calories a day because of the cerail or it would be less than 1000 calories

I'm basically maintaining now at 175 lbs. I do HIIT Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Then Tuesday and Thursday I do pushups and either burpees or take a walk

Yes and another thing that helps is offsetting your carbs and red meats with green vegetables. You can find a lot of HIIT workouts on RU-vid. The best thing about the HIIT workouts are they take 30 minutes but they are intense usually

Just started my weight loss journey and I have literally taken everything from this list off and I’ve lost 8 pounds in a month with also doing weekly walks and making sure I don’t lay down after my meals. Plenty of water and lime water and green hot tea for me now.

Here in the Philippines we mostly eat white rice,although some of us eat brown rice and red rice since they’re s healthier option white rice just tastes so much better and it contains carbohydrates which can be a source of energy for you,just don’t overconsume it,and we also eat spaghetti,pasta,macaroni salad in here we also mostly eat desserts such as purple yam bread,strawberry type of bread,as well as ice cream,bananacue,and turon,and we also eat mango with grahams in it,we also tend to eat potato chips since it tastes amazing we also eat either pork of beef in here,but despite all of that we also eat plenty of vegetables with our dishes and we also eat fruits as well as meat.

There is no food that is directly going to make you gain weight. It's all about calories in versus calories burned. As long as you are jn a caloric deficit you will lose weight whether you're eating all your calories in the form of cake or kale. Remember, everything can be eaten (yes every single food that was mentioned in this video as well) as long as it is in moderation and fits your calorie goals.

Guys you don't need to literally cut everything out of your life, fast food, yes, but rice, and stuff, no. Just eat it moderately, be careful with your portions, and eat healthily, that's all you need. And if you cut out everything, eventually ur going to have a cheat day and binge eat, which will ruin your diet/work. So make wise decisions, while still allowing urself to have good things sometimes.

My tips: if you are really craving any food that is very high caloried? you CAN eat it BUT you need to burn it after! Like exersizing. One thing that really works for people is burning more calorys than taking in.

I am an Indian,, or Asian.. I've grown up eating rice from my childhood and never gained weight until the fast food industry came into emergence.. At the age of 20 and afterwards I gained a few pounds because those junks really took over my eating routine and it's not been too long since I've realised myself comparing the teen me and adult me that the core reason why I'm gaining weight due to me sticking to fast food and once I realised that I decreased my habit of eating junks to a very less amount,, apparently I could not go on cutting junks totally off of my life😂loll.. So I've been eating junks like 3 or 4 times a month,,with inculcating rice at a very less amount on my lunch and dinner and now I can visibly see a major difference in my weight.. It helps guys,,, you don't need to avoid rice at all,,, rather lessen the amount of junks and include simple cardio routines everyday❤❤

I agree with everything except for red meat. I started to eat more beef steaks for my paleo diet. This kept me full longer. The insulin levels never spiked. I lost at least 10 pounds in 2 weeks. As an Asian, we eat white rice. I gave up white rice and ate sweet yam noodles instead. Good substitute!

This is a terrible video. The only way you gain weight is if you are in a calorie surplus. You can pretty much eat any of these foods as long as you are in a calorie deficit. You do not need to avoid any foods.

I saw rice in the photo and I just knew I’m gonna cry my way through summer, I eat rice like 3 times a day. But I shall stop….. once I’ve reached my goal I will limit my rice a bit but still eat it. The heartbreaking truth has hit me. I cannot eat arroz con leche 😭
