I do not respect whoever just melted a piece of cheese and dropped it on the piece of bread.

Take two slices of bread and rub margarine on one of each of the sides of the bread. Then, add butter to your pan. Put the bread on the pan margarine side down. Then stack Havarti, provolone, cheddar to the bread quickly while it's frying. Then, take the other slice and put it on margarine side UP. Then flip when the bread gets brown. After your done, if you f**k up and don't melt the cheese all the way, put it in the microwave for EXACTLY 15 seconds. If your microwave is powerful, put it in for 10.

Step 1. Butter the bread. Step 2. Put your cheese in the bread. Step 3. Heat pan over medium heat. Step 4. Fry till well browned. Step 5. Flip and fry till well browned. Step 6. You’re done. I am now convinced I am the smartest person on earth.

The only right way to make a grilled cheese: 1. Choose your bread. Italian is my preference. 2. Butter one side of each slice of bread. 3. Assemble your sandwich OFF of the stove; i.e. butter side down, place your cheese, any additional toppings, then more cheese, and finally your last slice of bread, butter side up. 4. In regards to cheese choice, I like muenster and gouda. I take two slices of each, cut them in half, and assemble them in alternating directions on each slice of bread. For e.g. If you assemble the bottom bread with muenster and gouda, make sure the top piece has gouda then muenster. 5. Toppings ARE allowed. For a classic grilled cheese pickles are a great choice; for this recipe specifically, I use mesquite turkey breast and honey ham. 6. Place 1 slice of turkey, 1 slice of ham, then a second slice of turkey on top. This is important as no one really actually likes ham but it's important as a filler. 7. Top the meat with the alternating sliced cheese and then put your assembled sandwich in an already heated frying pan. 8. Flip when both sides are golden brown. 9. Serve with a raspberry jalapeno jam (1 jalapeno that has been microwaved in water for 2 minutes with a 1/2 cup of Welch's raspberry preserves, blended together). Do not put the jalapeno water in the jam mixture. 10. Slice diagonally because you're not a robot. Enjoy!
