I would say he is capable of a much wider range of motion. Most "rules" say your chin needs to reach the bar, so obviously that is all most people do when trying to do a record.
@@OneDerscoreOneder These pull ups aren't correct, you're supposed to go straight up, he's going up a little then using momentum to push himself forward to go above the bar. A perfect pull up is going straight up with no momentum. It's still impressive, but go watch someone like "Max True", those are real pull ups and way harder.
@@jimjones2287 where do you think that momentum is coming from? his legs aren't moving, he's not kipping... so his motion is coming from his arms. Also, not moving foreward/backward while doing max reps pullups is a pipe dream. The way people's arms work is that you wiggle a little bit.
@@OneDerscoreOneder His legs are actually moving, you see him kicking down in his later reps. I'm not saying these are bad pull ups, but they''re not even close to perfect pull ups. Like I said, watch "Max True" doing pull ups, his form is far better, and he goes more vertically up and down than the way this guy does it, where in his latest reps he would get up like 1/2 or 3/4 and use his momentum to reach the top.
Just being able to hang from a bar for over 2 and half minutes is feat in itself. Well done. The fact that you were able to do 50 pull ups during that time is incredible.
My record is 20, and it took ages to achieve it, seeing him do 50 makes me speechless because I know how hard it is to become so strong from personal experience... It isn't easy at al... And requires much dedication and patience.
That's true, it took me years to do three sets of 25 pull ups, and it feels like it's impossible to make more, but this video shows us that we don't need to be very muscular to achieve such skill
From someone who does pullups a lot (me)..these are the best I've seen with # of reps on youtube. I'm around 28-30 reps now. I thought you were gased at 35..aweomse putting out to get 50. Dam impressive!!
Aweswome! AWESOME!!!! Top effort bro! Among the best 2 arm pull ups on youtube! I felt your energy tenacity on the last 20!!! All Crossfit dudes pay attention: these here are real actual pull ups. Thank you!
und es scheint mir, dass in Deutschland Judo ist eine der beliebtesten Sportarten neben Fußball? Ich entschuldige mich für die Fehler, ich benutze Google Übersetzer
+Mega Daryl I started with 3. I'm doing 25 right now and improving all the time. Stay with it and stay goal motivated. My goals are to be better than the day before.
+Mega Daryl Yeah, push-ups concentrate on other muscles. You may wanna buy some middle strength elastic band to come into the 8-12 reps range and effetively build your back muscles, and then a weaker elastic band, until you can manage at least 8 reps without any support
I can't believe some people are commenting that this guys form isn't good. It's pretty much perfect form and to be able to do 50 pull ups is amazing. If people think they can do better, anyone with a camera and a computer can upload videos. Can't stand it when I read the comments of keyboard warriors who criticise everything, if you think you can do better, back it up and put up your own videos.
Those pull ups are not so high, the move is quite short but anyway this guy is unbeatable on youtube :) No one is capable to do more than him. Big respect.
@kiensane No, a chinup and pullup are similar motions and both just require your chin to go slightly above the bar. The difference is the grip, a pull up has your palms faced towards the bar, where a chin up you grip it in reverse and your palms are facing you. They work different muscles and (most people) find the pullup a lot harder. On topic: Great form and 50 is amazing, I consider myself strong and have trouble with 20, puts things into perspective.
@bradrjord your actually not supposed to do that, past your chin you start straining the the ligaments in your rotary cuff, but hey its your body damage it however you please
@azeric1234 not all of them xD most in my class couldn't even do more than 5 pull ups but these dude is amazing. One of the best "pull up"-video on youtube.
da sieht mans wieder die Judokas sind einfach die besten ! respekt 50 saubere Klimmzüge sind sehr schwer wo macht ihr Judo ? welche stadt verein ? wenn man fragen darf ^^
@Coldkidrush I served for several years in the British Commando's and doing pull ups and sit ups are common parts of form training. The guy in this Video did not do 50 continuous pull ups he rested in parts. So the fifty that he has done are impressive but not competition level. If you decided that you wanted to do 50 pull ups like this and you are in your teens or twenties you could achieve if you wanted to it all depends on your desire to do so.
@ItsStyla Any athlete who decided to concentrate on doing pull ups like this could achieve it as a goal. It is not impossible to achieve this as a target it is hard of course but not impossible. I have done 10 mile swims, marathons, cross country endurance events, Mountaineering and survival technical training that is on par with this. I know at least 10 mountaineers/climbers that could do what this guy has done in the video and yes it is impressive but not impossible.
