I know this isn't an "um akshually" moment, but RU-vid's feature where the top comment of a video is always previewed right below the video before it's even started is really fucking frustrating. Employees needing to justify their paycheck to make RU-vid ever worse.....
another fors tip: using empowered neutral b (the huge smokescreen) restores your double jump. if youre new to forsburn and think his recovery is kinda underwhelming, that should help a bit
the fors section definitely should've had the fact that holding side b disables the clone from jumping, forcing it to go low. its useful for threatening low recoveries and mixing up your landing when you teleport to smoke high on stage. the rest of the tips were very useful though, this is a great video!
@@BowlerSSF2 yeah i figured you already knew, i understand the sacrifice for a nice looking number on the thumbnail though. godspeed, get those clicks goat
ranno up b can also be angled which is new to this game. it works the same way as mario's up b works. angling rannos up b backwards without reversing gives it way more vertical range, almost allowing ranno to go straight upwards
Other small tip with Orcane, if your oponent is spamming their projectile or AoE just bubble butt through it, it wins against most special moves and it'll force your oponent to get back to using their normals.
I've seen it happen accidentally during a ditto, but I've yet to see it done intentionally. Give it time, though, and I'm sure people are going to do some gross plays with it!
More Orcane tips: -Hydroplane (the turnaround boost) can be done with not only strong moves but also; grab, shield, spot dodge, and parry. -You can orcahop (up special) even while puddle out if you hold shield button during up special animation. -Down-special is not the only move you can affect the angle direction of bubbles; In fact, all bubbles moves can be influenced. Up throw (left and right) and Forward air (down and up). F-air downwards is especially important against characters that low profile like maypul.
remember that with the lox 0 air stall that if the first time you use it, you should hold completely towards the stage and not just down and forward to the stage so you can maximize drift.
for ranno's sliding backwards up-tilt you don't need to moon walk, you can just dash, press walk mod button, hold stick the opposite direction of your dash, up-tilt. It sounds hard but it's reallllyyy easy
god the game really needs a tutorial for characters there's so many individual special things each character can do that others can't, good video amazing game
Fleets float can be triggerd by pressing down in the air while holding jump. OR *if both jumps have been used. Dont hold it press jump a 3rd time for float
With foresburn empowered clone if you press b the clone will attack on command and you can also use his downspecial when there's no smoke for him to absorb to turn around midair
UPDATE: I could do most of these in training. The Lox ones were especially cool, thx! The Ranno ones are really hard. Old comment: Looking at this insane list, I'll never mater this game. oof :P
This video is fantastic! I’ve never seen anyone do that super high frog jump with Ranno before. That’s new to me. Also, can anyone explain how to moonwalk? I was told to run forward and then do a half circle back with the stick but that doesn’t seem to work.
3:30 It’s important to note too that Loxodont’s special pummel will create a magma spot where youre standing. Does anyone know if you get the changed down throw after doing the special pummel?
True, but there are many benefits to 3D as well, such as more freedom with alternate game modes and also some models from other games being possible to port over.
