@@bandofthebayou1401 I'm very good with the Avto, got 40K to blow so using it more often since the Twitch drop event, I even did a 42 kill streak with it during beta before stats wipe ^^ I do not recommend dual Uppercut as it then makes you very vulnerable to any engagement beyond mid range and ur gonna waste so much ammo trying to use the Avto from even mid or anything beyond that it will ruin the purpose or having the 2nd Uppercut for extra ammo. You want to keep that single Upper for mid to long, finish off someone running away from your Avto or hurt him first with that if ur a bit too far and then rush him with the Avto which he will never expect! If you just shoot it way too early then they're only gonna back off and that is the last thing you want when you use the new Avto with its pretty limited range. So far with that I still bring a Ammo Box just in case but 90% of the time I don't even need to use it, I gain enough ammo by opening crates or supply or just swapping guns on people I kill. Got a 3.02KDA as of today.
@@PanzerIV88 That's a dam good KD ratio though, don't even want to mention mine cause how low it is lol. Even my prestige 100 friend doesn't have a KD that high. So for those of us that don't have good aim (me included) I'd say the extra ammo comes in handy if your technique is to panic spray the enemy once you get close enough XD
Dang psycho xD you release this and right off the bat they do something to negate one of your tips. In 1.4.2 patch notes on test server it says "Fixed an issue where the player who ignited an Immolator was not awarded the kill after the Immolator burnt out and died." Of course can't be sure if it works yet because it's the test server but apperantly that's their intention.
Solid tips my dude. May I tack something on to the poison crossbow? It also one shot kills the concertina armored at close range. Thanks for all your hard work your videos are the reason I got into this game in the first place!
#37: you can also alternatively just leave the game. Me and my friends played a trio match where we were low on ammo and consumables, we were also low on health. Two teams teamed up against us. After I got downed, I just left the match and my friends go out safe and sound.
When you want to toss an explosive, don't light it and toss it immediately, wait and listen to where your enemy is running, then you toss. I learned by watching Mike playing in his videos. I killed an entire team last night, it worked three times in a row. (I love your content Mike. I'm Brazilian, and you're helping me a lot, at the Hunt Showdown and improving my listening in English. )
When I first started Hunt about half a year ago on xbox, I watched the 100 tips and tricks to be prepared. That was how I discovered mike. Now, july 2020, I'm just about to prestige with a positive k/d, multiple legendary hunters and weapons, and quite a few friendly hunters. It's been a wild ride since watching beta, but I love this game and I can't wait to see what the future holds. Hope to see you in the Bayou mike, my head can already feel the bullet. Thanks for being my Hunt mentor
@psychoghost Regarding the banish while a team mate is down. I recently discovered that if a mate is burning and you banish it still reverses 50 health so you can increase the time you have to revive that way
For tip #30, you can just hold the number of the inventory slot you want to assign things to, no need to have the inventory full. Want your knife at button 3? Select it and then hold 3, done
I'm almost about to prestige and my KDA is horrible (0.5) but honestly, this game is so fun, and creators like Mike, and the super chill players this game had in abundance keeps it so fun for me.
Thx a bunch Mike, the first 100 tips were pure gold to find my way into the hunting grounds and still a lot good advice with this one ...didn't know about the various immolator tricks who can be a real pain in the arse, even when you're in the middle of something :D...another tip (specially for solo hunters) might be to toss a choke bomb into a henhouse, poor creatures totally freak out and make a lot of noise which might help to get nearby hunters irritated/evade them/shake them off...
Psychoghost Gaming yea man, love watching you and Neenoh. The tactics and nuances that you learn by playing can be seen. Been playing a while so a lot of this was stuff I knew but I can take some of this into the game.
Great tips as usual. One thing you missed about Bulwark is that you can survive a red barrel trap with it too, might be useful to know depending how many trappers you come up against!
Excellent video. Over 900 hours and I still learned a thing or two. Being able to shoot the mouth of a helmeted hound when they howl was #1 for me. I had no idea.
For the switching tools tipp: You don't need another item for that. Just press the button of a slot you want to change and then hold the button of the item you want to put into that slot. A short circle will appear and then you changed the slots for the items. This way you can also change the position of your main weapon to be the sub-weapon. The only restriction is, that you can only change into the slot's, that are meant for these items.
I just started playing hunt showdown today, the tips are super super helpful. Tip 25 is probably the tip that helped me the most to get weapons and supplies in quickplay
Absolutely excellent video. I've played for hundreds of hours and I'm embarrassed by how much of this I didn't know, especially the shared weapons exp. Thanks a lot!
Thank you Mike, your videos are unbelievably high-quality and they feel much more.. grown-up (" ") from most of RU-vid content. Enjoying watching every second of every video.
1k+ hours in game, and I learned so many things, it is really insane how deep this game.. Sorry for common comment, psychoghost, but I’m really impressed :D
Played a quick play recently and you got the wellspring, ran across half the map ignoring people shooting at me like a 12yr old fanboy (am 48) so I could say hello to you and you headshotted me before I could get close. Meh :) Keep up the excellent work!
Ever since you upload the oil lantern guide, I knew you had a shot at being the most watched Hunt content creator. I'm glad you fulfilled those boots, amazing work in this video as always! Thanks for the tips
Great video. It's really good to see tips that aren't straight from the game tutorial or easy to figure out by playing normally. These were really helpful.
Good job, Mike! Thank you! Want to add to 46 tip for beginners that you can make equipment "always visible" in settings (make it transparent for convenience) to completly avoid this kind of situations in fights (when some boy rush you when you checking your equipment or when you trying to use heal or throw dinamite when nothing left and so on). Same could be done for display ammo (to fix situations when you can forget to reload)
After watching your videos for the longest time and getting into hunt for myself, your tips and tricks have been very useful. Thank you so much for making them Sincerely a new hunt player
Also for tip #6 I’m pretty sure banishing while down will also put out fires. Very useful yet risky move if your teammate is down and burning. Might not work if an active fire covers the body, though.
I have been playing hunt for about a year and a half and I had no idea about the whole group experience that goes to the experience trees thing it was only recently where I had a friend always using the sparks and after a few good games I was getting the different ammo and variants now I know why thanks man
15:48 Damn man you're unleashing suppressed memories there! I once had a partner in The Culling who I played duos with for a week, he kept killing me every time I went below ~30% health cause who ever gets the kill gets some health and "currency" back. What a dickhead! haha
@@KtOhhsnap Damn do I, it's so stupid that Hunt doesn't have quickswap! 200h of playtime and I still mess up my loadout when I rush swapping weapons with downed hunters. I mean if even Xaviant can program that into their game then ANYONE should be able to :I
Just wanted to say thank you so gosh dang much Mike for the abundance of knowledge!! I love all of your Hunt content and your an amazing player. I started playing on PS4 when I started watching you and have helped me become the hunter I am today. Keep up the great work!! ❤️
my guy, much love for all the hard work, you've improved a lot, on multiple aspects, editing, english language (I know it's not your first language) and delivery of the information seems somehow better paced.
The legendary 50 tips video is finally online😁 Your tip with spreading fire reminded my of the situation where you set Joe on fire right after you revived him with one HP and killed him completly🤣
I really didnt know that about the coaches. Line of sight, yes, but not that they are NOT bulletproof. That killed me several times and i was SURe they were cheating. Now i know, they just knew the game mechanics better than I did. Thanks for the info Mike, keep up the good work
Dang I always learn a lot with these tips guides, why I love them so much! Even tho I rarely play Hunt these days I like to learn for when I eventually do
Great vid Mike learned a couple of things that are certainly new to me. Hope you continue to grow and we eventually hit the day where you always have 1K viewers.
So glad you posted this! I was watching the stream where you were talking about how frags aren't explosive and that dude was going on and on and ironically you had that in this video 😂😂😂
Very good video as usual Mike! For me, the most important tip that you didn't talk about (and I don't remember it in your first 100 tips and tricks video), is the ability to check for closed enemies in boss lair (or if the compound is a boss lair before checking the clue) by using dark vision boost and look for flashing color status. I mean, I discovered that very late and it's soooo important for beginners imho.
Actually I didn't. I though it is ... too obvious. I watched a few new people play and ... they didn't know it. So it will be in the next one! You are 100% correct. Salut :o)
@@PsychoghostGaming It's not easy to think for everyone anyway. I guess should have let you know about that myself earlier. My bad on this! Anyway, it doesn't affect the fact that you've done soem awesome work here :)
For tips n°10, you can OS them with a well-placed heavy melee attack to the head with the bomb-lance. If you're fail, you will one shot him, but he will be ignited and will burn you a health chunk. For tip n°29, fuses and fire also works pretty well, but it is not as silent or stealthy as mentioned :) . Either way, this guide is pretty gucci, and a good video as well !
200 hours in and I didn't even know you can type in traits in the store to get what you need, I just wrote down what I need and memorized them before going hunting, thanks for tip appreciate big.
Mike i want to thank you for bring us this kind of content. And for being a great content creator and a very humble man. Keep up your good work mate and i will see you in the bayou ^^
Unfortunately punching concertinas with the medkit out doesn't seem to work anymore, throwing axe melee seems to be the most efficient and even removes multiple strands at the same time
I started following your work a little before the "100 tips" video was on RU-vid. You are always offering quality content. Thanks Mike! (I didn’t know the thing about the research with keywords so thanks again ! ^^ ) -CthulhuZircaniax
speaking of choke bombs, you can actually put butcher out with one which makes him a lot easier to kill. I believe he can be reignited if he walks through any fire though.
Here's a tip. If you ever find yourself in a situation you or your squad is alone on a server you wiped the last team or whatever reason hit up compounds and look for registers great way to get more money.
#38 has saved my life so many times. Actively setting myself on fire, is only something I've been able to think of after I've died tho :( One day I'll remember
20:45 The biggest thing i knew about the game is gone now many people will know now dammit!! Thanks for the shop keywords tip though so i guess fair trade!
Immolators are also one-shots to bomb lances shots. useful if you`re in combat with say, a bomb lance, and an immolators is chasing you. they will ignite instantly though so shoot from a bit farther away.
@@PsychoghostGaming oh, thats even more useful. I... well lets say I was never keen to try with a sharp weapon for obvious reasons, but I guess I`m off to find an axe now and try if it will work with it too :) thanks psycho.
for 46 you can also just press the button your currently equipped item is on to immedeatly get back to it, relying on scroll wheel is a little monkaS never knew about the shared xp being weapon specific, always thought it was simply general xp for the hunter, very good to know. having clocked 500h now myself there have been some things I didnt know, even if some are niche LUL
Hey Mike, These videos are awesome! I've been bingewatching your RU-vid channel and have started following you on twitch. Watching your tactics has been so helpful in building my skill. I play bounty hunt solo 95% of the time and have finally got to the point where I'm able to hold my own against (less experienced) duos! Hopeful for a solo strat video in the future :)
