Welcome to @OldGuyRolling, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu for all and empowering and supporting 40 year old and older players. I officially started on Cinco de Mayo 2021, I trained for exactly 1 month and I got hurt ( old shoulder and shoulder blade injury that flared up by not tapping and took me out of rolling for exactly 3 moths). I then went into doing lots of rehab with weekly visits to the chiropractor and physical therapist along with hot yoga for recovery 4-6 times per week. I went back to rolling on October 6 2021 and I've been training consistently 4-5 times per week ever since. The intention of the channel it's to share the journey, the experience, what I'm learning along the way, techniques, tools, equipment, and most importantly the experiences. So far, I love Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, more importantly, the people I've gotten to meet along the way are amazing!!!

06/05/21 Rested 4 months: shoulder & shoulder blade injury.
10/06/21 Back from rehab. Rolling 4-5 days/week (6 to 8 classes/week)
09/22/22: Blue Belt promotion. Today I get to start learning Brazilian Jiu Jitsu : ).
02/24/24: Purple Belt promotion. Learning to be a learner.
