You can definitely hear the excitement in the voices on the sidelines when Andy and Bigfoot 8 took off, dropped down in the hole and launched out of it. Talk about a truck and history in the making during this time period. The revolution has started for sure.

I've done watched this I don't know how many times and to hear the hooting and hollering as #8 makes these short passes just goes to show how awesome this truck was and what it can do. All the other trucks did a great job, but Andy and #8 just left people in awe.

Used to drive past Bigfoot 4X4 everyday going to and from work. I really miss seeing them by the house, but can still see them in Pacific when I visit my girls!! Bob has driven Bigfoot by our house several times in our city parade. Miss hearing those big engines from across the highway.

In the Bob Chandler autobiography on Discovery Plus Everett Jasmer said that he wanted to have the fastest Monster Truck. Well Bob not to be outdone decides to design and lay down the plan to combat that along with the safety aspect and with that came the construction of Bigfoot #8. Bob hasn't looked back since, just look at the evolution of the Bigfoot trucks from the older trucks to #8,9,10,11,14, 15 &16. Then you have the different style trucks with 18,19, 21 and the soon to be #22.

1st !!! Really enjoying these clips of the 5000th BIGFOOT Show. Were there other shows like this with all the trucks, apart from the Nashville, TN. show that had been planned? I would 've made it to the Nashville one, but for my POS car breaking down enroute, making me miss it. Least I got to meet John Piant( Great guy BTW, What s he doing now?) and see #4 up close before the crash at a Ford lot in Lebanon, TN. the day before. Thanks for posting.

I hope that their is plenty of footage from the 1990 Bigfoot Bash and I'm quite sure there is.

This is very interesting. This footage does not match the stuff that was shown on television for the time trials. Bigfoot 5 doesn’t run at all as well. Also In the tv footage, almost all of the trucks except Bigfoot 1 and 5 went over the second set of cars as part of the cource for time. The flag man at the start was wearing a long sleeve jacket in the tv footage, in this he’s wearing a tshirt.
