I agree put whatever engine you want in any car The honda block will put out more than a tuned v6 Just it won,t sound correct But each to his own its still a really nice car

What about the brand new 70 / 71 plate mk1 and mk2 escorts just released for sale... With an nice Millington motor amd sequential box. As well as the 6r4, Stratos, 66 Cooper S works and mk2 jag with latest jag restored parts - engine suspension brakes and all other tech to get 2020s performance with 1970 looks. Gotta have a mk1 range Rover to tow with. And a she'd full of assorted 205gti in road rally and hill climb setup just for fun and in numbers so the usual rolls are less heartbreaking 💔 Oh and an important with 150 but at back wheels. A group B rear drive rear engine Skoda 1300 2.3 chevette HSR

Yes bud, it's a great and quiet location away from the public & traffic etc :-) Its still an active airfield so I had to check in with the flying school for permission to launch the drone. Great location.

The V6 na sound and 4 wheel drive was what made the 6r4 special.This is still a great build and special in its own way as an interpretation of the other route that Austin Rover could of gone down using a Turbo 4 pot and 2 wheel drive.

I love Stephen's paint job, unique & I like your idea too, only downside is that every other modified car is Nardo grey these days it seems 😎👍

It's crazy bud, it's the first time I've been in a car with a sequential box and its next level. The K20 really puts you in the seat and grips, I think it could handle even more power. I'm so lucky to have gone out in it and Stephen's a great driver too, top bloke 😎👍

There's no need, it was never scrapped. It's still easy to see it's an F reg Metro, albeit kitted with a different engine. Q plates are often no vin plate, have been scrapped, no history and changed beyond recognition so they are re-registered as a Q plate.

Really? How much do you think a real one costs out of interest?

There was a turbo v6 6r4, will gollop made it but they de-stroked the engine from 3.0l to like 2.3l and fitted twin turbos. Redlined at 11,000 rpm and rumoured to be able to produce like 700-800bhp it was a machine.

Jag Xj220 lump is the same unit the 6r4 used is it not and they can be tuned to 1000bhp so says TWR and even more what a special toy that would be 6r4 xj220 spec try not to be Henri toivonen rip.

Well, I thought quite some 6R4 (ab)used in rallycross were turboed? 🤔
