Thanks for the video of your Bucyrus Erie 51B dragline! Great video of the machinery deck & dragline operating. I'm a fan of Bucyrus Erie & other older dragline cranes.
The rpm we run at is a good middle ground, yes we could run it faster but the machinery also turns faster which makes it harder to be smooth. It’s also a good rpm for fuel efficiency 10-12 hr days we only burn about 30 gallons.
