I am currently on my first playthrough. My first kingdom choice was Battania (even though I had Empire culture) because I got an invite offer from their king first and I thought I had to be invited to join. I regretted my choice. Then I went over to the Western Empire after we fought a massive battle next to Garontor Castle, which was owned by me at the time (over 5000 troops involved, 2 field battles and a castle siege at the same time) against them. We barely won the fight, and then I retreated because they sent another huge army after us. That's when left the kingdom without my fiefs and joined the Western Empire. I did not regret it. We won against Northern and Southern Empires at the same time and got around 10000 tribute / day in total... And then, the Vladians came for our souls. I had borderline fiefs and was hit the hardest. We still are at war
@@User50981 conquered half of vlandia, aserai, sturgia, khusait. all the rest are fully under my control, garios died of old age and i became the ruler of the empire
Heh... Still remember the time I was serving Vlandia. We launched a crusade in Aserai, took cities and castles, and set a permanent foothold in south. Funniest thing, I was given the majority of southern territories, so I declared independence, made peace with Vlandia, and was a full Independent state in south.
In my playthrough the Western Empire got smooshed, they only have 1 City left though they’re defending it quite well. Battania kinda holds the same amount of land meanwhile everyone else is trading territory left and right.
@@enkursory my play through is a lot like yours. I’m playing as the northern empire, we crushed and demolished the western empire, battania only has one city left, now we are currently going to war with all the other empires. Can’t get a break from war..lol
Vallandians have all the resources to overrun battanians at the start, kuzaits got overrun by Azerai at beginning otherwise empire would have been crushed between valandians and kuzaits till the mid of the video. Azerai always stays in their own territory and no one enters it, it is as intended as per the lore goes. Sturgians should also rise according to lore but it seems to be only exception otherwise we get the map of warband.
Love the back and forth Valandia dominated in the early years, western empire pushed back them out of no where the khuzaits pushed from the east, poor sturgians never stood a chance.
Woah how can Battania still be declared as a high kingdom with absolutely no fiefs at all lol? I originally thought that a kingdom would’ve perished if the player takes over the last fief but in 1 of my campaign, the Western Empire was no more when the Battanian took its last fief
Aseri gained nothing and lost nothing, there not the strongest faction but the location is pretty op, only accessible by 2 choke points and the aseri reproduce like rabbits.
