Fun Fact: z.b.V stands for: zur besonderen Verwendung which basicly means: for special use. These divisions were filled with everything that was available and assigned to all kinds of tasks such as fighting partisans, property protection, serving the military police or even as a Feuerwehr to stabilize a section of the front until regular troops arrive. Because of this, this division is made up of all sorts of infantry and support equipment. The KM Flaktruppen were, for example, sailors who could no longer be assigned to a ship and were therefore used as flak crew (and now as auxiliary infantry). Or the Lettische Hilfspolizei: Local police officers who could handle a weapon and were therefore called up for front duty. The "Elite troops "like the Fallschirmjäger are probably from disbanded or dismantled units that were temporarily stored here until they could be reassigned to a regular infantry division.
There never was a 52nd Mountain Division in the German Army, and the 22nd Air landing Division( the only air landing division) was pulling garrison duty on Crete during the Summer '44...... So,don't know why ya are on about.....
@@TheNordhammer I making a joke about the more famous "52nd" Division that was the 52nd( (Lowland) Division that was both trained as a Mountain and Airlanding Division.
16:00 nope it's french. The Germans used little letters behind the name to classify their Beutewaffen (captured equipment). -(r) stands for Russland / russia -(f) stands for Frankreich / france -(e) stands for England / britain -(a) stands for Amerika / america . . . So it is very easy to identify the country of origin of that piece of equipment
While building the deck, other AT options for phase A in the arty tab: new Lithuanian 75mm (only 50 pts), the 122mm, and then in AA tab the 85mm can also come in A. Also could've brought one of the big bombers in A. With no tanks available in A, have to supplement with the other options.
Interesting thing to note as well is the fact that the deck encourages balancing latvian troops with the others, as the latvian troops have separate pool of transport vehicles.
I always take the Flak 38 even when it doesn't have a cool transport just because I play mostly 10v10s and the current meta it seems is using 60% or more of your money on artillery units. I would rather lose 40 points per AA instead of 80.
@@georgewaddilove4891 You get so many panthers at phase C, I would play this division in Juggernaut mode and try to survive until phase C then unleash the true power of this division.
Maybe I'm missing something but I feel like these latest new divisions are 90% of the same old same old. This 52nd Sicherungs and the 7th Estonian are the most interesting ones of the DLC but even so, getting very repetitive with what the divisions offer. Mostly looking forward to the new campaign that comes with it at this point.
Here you go! I plan to update them all soon: DCRNmiCEITECYiDkSY2DUADSyViPQAFCIWDEC1gAEFXAAEBgQAFBgQAEReUXFQ3gAGA4QAFDPAAGiPwAFCEQAFADSyUArCU1CYTnWCYTnVDwwAEQugAEFVgAGCZBe4g6EXFC6wAESHBe0kZAAEVAwAFVCRe4VfAAECkwAEDxwAGCIWDESPwAAA==
Bizarrely, all three of the allied divisions added are extraordinarily boring and indistinguishable mostly from a handful of other ones. It really seems like these DLCs are geared towards a certain demographic...
I unfortunately have to agree the first ones were nice but the kind of got repetitive, I won't pay 5-10€ for a division that just consists from reskinned and rearranged Units who previously existed.
Man the flags are all over the place, Latvian divisions dont get a latvian flag, but the Lithuanian ones do? Confusing. Mybe its because the Lithuanian ones are volunteer divisions, but oh well.
What lets down these DLC's is the lack of variation in the units. All of the units are the same models and stats, and largely the same availability... its so boring now
Are you sure those troops are not Lithuanian? Edit: from the battlegroup description: " _Lithuanian_ TAR volunteers, _Latvian_ SS-troops..." The flag is totally correct.
