On May 18th, 2024, we ventured out to the North Carolina Transporation Museum’s train show, in Spencer, North Carolina. There was lots to see and do that day, but we mainly stuck to the model trains for the day and saved the real trains for the spectacular night photo shoot, celebrating 100 years of the Bob Julian Roundhouse. While there was some rainy weather later in the day, it didn’t dampen our spirits as we got some amazing shots with Southern Railway 542, which was posed in such ways as to make it look like it was under steam once again. So sit back and relax, as we watch big and little trains at the Spencer Shops Train Show!
