I use to think this as well but after talking to one of my chemistry professors I now know different… it’s actually the heat .. it changes the chemical properties dramatically… hence people being functional coke addicts..when I say functional I mean if they don’t say anything you will never know or even suspect. They dibble and dabble socially and keep it pushing if they feel like it they do it if they don’t it’s cool Coke heads that move like crackheads usually have dependency issues and mentally cling to the drug causing addictive behaviors… like I said I agreed with you until I got my psychology degree and started working in drug programs and my chemistry professor reminded me of the why chemicals change when other elements are added or taken away

Although Children is more formal than kids both terms can be used to refer to humans who have not reached adulthood. Kid/kids is also used informally when referring to adults whose behavior is immature "u are acting like a kid" so many people saying kid is a baby goat.. well a b*tch is a female dog & y'all say it 100 times a day!
