Reminds me of how originally, I named all of my shinies names with "shi" at the beginning, my first shiny was Shine (Golbat), then Shidon (Rhydon), Shiploud (Exploud), Shifly (Pidgeot, Shigeot didn't sound too good), Shibuck (Sawsbuck) and then Shifly (Beautifly). I changed everyones names to something less 'embarassing' (a friend laughed at me whenever I mentioned the names) when I transferred them up to gen 6 because I was going to use them in online battles, Shine became Toxic, Shidon became Boulder, Shibuck became Grace, Shifly became Phoenix, Shifly became Beauty, and then Shiploud was from a file that was deleted. In my heart they still have their original nicknames, as silly as some may be.

I should've tried it out! Not as useful with Budew as it is with Buneary, though, since Budew starts out with a lot higher friendship to begin with and would require a lot more friendship lowering to test out

@@McLumysince it evolves with high friendship and is the only Pokémon to learn Frustration by level up while Lopunny is the only one to learn Return by level up, I suppose the line is themed around going from hating you to loving you. Why do this for the Buneary line specifically, I don’t know, though
