@@BoredLockpicker Yeah I haven't seen a Gen 5 yet. I'm not looking forward to that tool..doesnt seem as fun as the scope. Lol

@@geraldskinner63 I dont know if im going to buy the new tool or not. or just go back to drilling them. this house just need a key made not rekeyed. I took a deadbolt off the house from outside and just brought in my van made a key slap a new smart key deadbolt on and rekey it to match.

Quick question about those Kwikset? My buddy lost his key. I picked the lock to let him in. Could I have re-keyed with the Kw tool. Right there while picked open?

Smart key yes but if you picked it. It probably wasn’t smart key

Gen 3 you have to put pressure on the sidebar from the front. Gen one and two you can pick. I remember bills video. Seems insanely lucky to rake one open since they lock into false gates. Not sure you would really over come that with a rake. I’ve picked a few at home. I doubt it was smart key. But idk
