Your video is an awesome experience. Tourism Departments should produce their advertisements like this. I spent a summer in 1948 in Atreyapuram and Amalapuram. Watching your video I became a 15 year old boy again. Konaseema is one of the most beautiful places on earth (I have traveled all over India and the world). The people are wonderful. I swam in Atreyapuram canal and Godavari against the advice of our servants who were guarding me. The smell of various ripe fruits three feet deep in a separate room in our house has come back to me. The sunrise in Amalapuram, the full-moon all-night boat trip in Atreyapuram canal ( the moon playing hide and seek from behind the coconut trees), the joyful laughter on the boat, the sunrise from the sea flying over Lebanon, and the sunset in Denmark from our cruise ship are among the most beautiful memories in my life. I will make sure that many Telugus and others watch this video and enjoy the beauty of Konaseema. Thank you. Blessings to the little one.

Our native is Amalapuram. For beauty of nature and old historic temples kona seema is famous. You missed Yanam, Draksharamam, Mukteswaram before Ainavalli. Last heritage village Peruru, it located very near to Amalapuram.
Yeah, our focus was all the islands that are part of konaseema. Remaining places of East godavari were covered seperately this year. Will try to post that too soon. Thanks for commenting though.

Went so close to Dhawleswaram barrage and did not cover in your trip. Another observation is,the name of that sweet should be ‘Puta Chuttalu’, this was the original name. When ‘rekulu’ are rolled into a bundle adding sugar, ghee etc,these would no longer remain rekulu, would become chuttalu.
Option 1: (If you dont need local transport while visiting these locations) Train you need to onboard to reach Palakollu (PKO-destination railway station) is DMM NS EXP (17248) - Darmavaram Narsapuram Express. From Bangalore .. you can go to Madanapalle Road (2-3hrs journey by cab or bus) or Tirupati (5hrs) to catch this train. Check for combination Seshadri exp and DSS NS Exp. Option 2: (Good to have a vehicle for roaming around those villages) Reach to vijayawada or Rajamundry from Bangalore via Air or Train. Rent a car from there. I took a car from Tenali. Option 3: (Own vehicle from BLR) Make sure you have one or two extra persons to drive as it would be long drive but roads are awesome. (NH 16 highway.) If you go with friends and have time to drive for 10 -12 hrs , then this would be best option but its trade off between Comfort vs Cost.
