I’ve had this exhaust for about 2k miles now, and have enjoyed it. I’m fairly conservative when it comes to exhausts and dislike drone. I don’t want a system that lets my neighbors know every time I come and go - just something with some personality when I step on it. I would say the Borla Touring has definitely accomplished that.
Is there drone? Yes, very little at about 3k RPM. But how often are you at 3k RPM consistently? Almost never. It sounds great in stop and go traffic, and quiets down on the highway because you’re at 1,800-2,200 RPM. I would highly recommend this exhaust to anyone who is similarly conservative.
Disclaimer: for the first few hundred miles during break-in, you will have an “oh shit! I made the wrong purchase,” moment because it starts loud. Over time, the exhaust does settle down into a very subtle, but throatier growl than stock.
