Today, like every other year on the 5th of May, The Netherlands celebrate the end of the Second World War which is 76 years ago this year, as well as our freedom in general. Usually this calls for a big celebration but this year of course that's a little different.
I was honored when my hometown of Ermelo asked me if I would like to write a short song in honor of this occasion, and record a video of it to be included in their online celebration. Since it's so relevant to this exact date I thought I'd upload the video here today as well. Enjoy!
