Ok Morehouse, small but powerful; needs a little cleaning but they can handle that. Maybe one day admin will support the program more so they can get back to that Blake Gaines era greatness (they had some numbers). Every time the band gains some momentum they get a new director and start over, so hopefully Mr. Hughes sticks around for a while. Arrangements are definitely there, and with more members they can really bring them to life. Howard is ok, that Skin will always be my joint; but it felt like they weren't paying to their full potential. They've seemed to struggle a lot with the scholarship issues they've had in the past, but look like they are definitely rebuilding. I hope they get back to that 2001 swing, they were a beast! Auxiliary teams for both were doing what they came to do!
Both schools have the richest Alumni......!! What's going on with the band programs🤨😒😔 DAMN. Well at least my Fort Valley State BMMB band doing well for a small Alumni group 👍🏾
HU band overall is unimpressive..tubas are struggling something bad seem like only 2 really playing. The 90s HU is rolling in it's grave. Morehouse has never had a good bamd program so I don't expect to much, they are actually better than the last i seen them.. Howard has to much of a history but they haven't been good in a decade
