Started a pressure washing business March 2023 based out of Jacksonville, Florida. I didn’t start this channel to get customers. I genuinely enjoy recording, editing, and posting videos. Hopefully you can find a little value in my content. I enjoy helping new guys/gals in the business. I try to keep it simple and straight forward.

Been watching power washing videos all week trying to figure out what I needed and how I need to set up my rig, your video was by far the most helpful! What kind of pump do you have for the soft wash? How long can that battery run it? And what type of work do you do “soft wash”??

Pressure building is bad for machine put down the camera not a teacher just saying...Stand back way to much bleach ceiling fan is toast electric outlet no tape come on but goodluck
I made my setup too complicated, I have an air compressor piped into the top of my tank that I can regulate so I have pressurized water from my tank to both machines I have as well as just a rinse hose
So is this is why my pressure washer stalls after not using the gun for a little while? then it’s extremely hard to pull start , unless I release the pressure I hope this bypass will fix this issue
Is there like a name or something for the place you filled up? Basically for me to google search near me and see if there’s any place like that I could go to? Getting all my equipment together but still don’t know where I can get my sh from! Lol
I was going to pinch-a-penny pool store for a while and now I go to my local ace hardware. Just google your local pool store, hardware store, etc. or make a post on Facebook and ask where people get their pool chlorine from.
How are you washing roofs? The max pull rate of a downstream injector is 10 to 1 so if you are using 12.5% sh you would be pulling a 1.25% at the gun which wouldn’t be strong enough for most roofs.
10-4. Didn’t see it on your trailer. Is there a particular 12 volt pump that you would recommend? Also, can I ask what type of insurance policy you have? I got a policy from progressive but it limits me to soffit and below. My plan is to downstream most houses and use XJet if I need to pull stronger solution. Thanks for the response!
i love this build because you have all the things you need and I want to replicate the exact same build but im confused on 1 thing. On all the other soft wash systems I see, they use a remco pump or some type of 5.5-7gpm but I didn't see a pump on your trailer it appears to be going through the pressure washer with the downstream. but if that was the case what are the batteries for? I obviously am new to this lol i have just been using my machine and xjet and looking to upgrade. Thanks for the video
Good afternoon, well done, good job, what do you use besides water to wash the walls of the house, I am a beginner in this business, and now I am learning, thank you for your answer and good luck with your work
Great work man! I also pre\post treat at 5%. I've seen many others do a less % but the 5% seems to be a sweet spot for me, results wise, so that's what I run with. Keep gettin at it man!
@@joeallenpressurewashing I use an xJet with the grey proportioner. My shock is 12.5% from a local farm store. If the shock gets a little old I run it without a proportioner which is roughly a 1:1 mix.
Hey Joe. Quick question. You've got what looks like a 3rd gen Rouge. Do you have any trouble with towing? What do you calculate the weight of the trailer, system, and such? I have 2015 Honda Crv that's rated at 1500. Nissan says 1k for yours.
I have heard that as long as the water level in the tank is above the pump height it should have enough force for the pump. I have never tried a direct drive machine. Thanks for watching 😃
Hey joe, i like this set up. I don't have a buffer tank and was wondering how you switch from soap back to rinse with the m5 twist? Do you have to go back to the truck to pull out the injector, or does adjusting the m5 spray pattern pull the soap that way?
Love it. I’m on my second one since starting my business. It’s a great pump as long as you flush it out after every use. SH will destroy it if not flushed properly.
You can sweep that water away with your wand and a wide tip if you take the time Would never leave a customers driveway full of that nasty water The job is not complete
Damn Nice , I make $4,400 a month at my 9 to 5 but can't stand my job, would have to at least make that. Glad to hear u make that and more , that's good $ man, how do u get work do you pay for advertising and if so where & how? Sorry if I'm asking too much but where um from no one is trying to help out the compilation as rhey call it, I call it comrudery but no one else does lol
I put a ball valve on my hose and open it up all the way, then I crank up the PW and casually walk to the gun . It just hit me one day. Got tired of walking fast to the gun. Lol
Joe can you make a video of the buffer tank and how to set it up including which parts are needed. Confused on how to set it up and what valve is used to control water flow.
If it’s direct drive, you need to make sure the water level in the tank is higher than the level of the pump. It is gravity fed, so the higher the water level, the better. Before you start your machine, make sure your buffer tank is full.
My man! I am so jealous that you just rolled up to a pool shop and grabbed a hose and started filling your tank. I'm in Pennsylvania - no such places like that around Pittsburgh.
