Fun session from the other week! Made a half inverted scorpion type thing and got to practice some new dunks I’ve never really tried before.

I gave the underboth some random attempts back in the day before my back injury but never really tried to go for it because I didn’t have the bounce back then. Really just tried it for fun like once or twice randomly. I got that back injury that kept me away from that dunk for another 2 years nearly and now that my back is more resilient + I’m at a higher level in terms of technique and vertical I think it’s finally time to learn it. Can’t rep it out a TON unfortunately because I don’t want to repeatedly load my back in that flexed position because that’s what injured me back in 2022 but a few attempts per session is definitely doable. Technique feels horrendous right now but once it clicks it’s going down.

Eastbay scorpion also felt super doable. Tried it at the very end of my session with a little knee pain and dead legs which definitely decrease the bounce and I was still nearly getting it over the rim. Just need to tidy up the technique and on a good day I think I can definitely put it down.
